You guys are asking some random dude who walked into an interview drunk (which, wow) if he likes the Imperium and, hypothetically speaking, if he would kill Imps and Sith if he was paid to.

I mean, if Keywork trusts some random, raging alcoholic enough to ask super shady questions, that's just asking for one of your interviewees to go to the Imperium afterwords and say "hey, these guys are asking their hires if they would kill Imps. Can I get a reward?"

Well, the way the character's dialogue isn't written in any way to indicate that he was actually inebriated enough to the point of drunkenness. While inhibitions are lowered somewhat, slurred and impaired speech will occur before one is ready to get married in a Vegas chapel. So I think the man is "responsibly buzzed", but not alcoholic or drunk. Plus, He can always be redacted, and he won't have access to alcohol in the training facility. If he can't make it, then he flunks out and no consequential amount of money was spent on him.

Fact, but it would be alcohol abuse to simply throw it away. Hence, Fiorella (the Recruiter) is being a bit more careful with him before she can figure out if he's actually drunk. The way she is asking certain questions is making him think to subtly evaluate his cognitive responsiveness.

Anyway, I think I understand your confusion, but there's a reason for the training; it weeds out the weak. If he doesn't clean up, then he's dumped.

Due to planet resbumission, the planet is not approved. Regardless of what Lavi may or may not have said, your planet is currently in limbo and not free for use in the RP until the resbumission is approved.
