Khavaal
Vs.
Hayvan

'Ladies, Gentlemen and homaphrodites! Welcome, to the Grand Tournaments' Grand Finals!' Tonight, you are welcomed to observe a most historic battle! We have here hired mercenaries and soldiers from all corners of the galaxy, here to fight each other to the death! But that isn't even the main attraction, no, no, no...What we have for you...is even more spectacular...

Here we are on Dorin, a world whose air is poisonous to most, a harsh unforgiving world if I ever saw one. And amidst this battle, the duel between finalists Hayvan and Khavaal will take place. If you are having trouble spotting them out, we have them highlighted on your personal viewing screens...now! Highlighted in green is the terrible armored Sith, Khavaal. And in blue is the Jawa, Hayvan.

And without further ado, let the battle...BEGIN!'

As if by a secret, unworded command, the battle began raging all around Khavaal. He had specifically asked for his troops to be modeled after his own Sith soldiers, armor-clad in black and crimson plates, wielding terrible heavy repeaters. Supporting these troops, several armoed carriers moved into the fray, the huge hovering vehicles carrying infinately more troops to the front lines as their heavy front cannons wasted huge paths in the enemy ranks. And at the front lines of it all, Khavaal stood as he always did, his heavy armored body preventing the lethal gas from entering his system, Lightreaver in hand, the crimson blade a rallying call to all of his troops.

'Let battle be joined...'

Hayvan stood on the ground in his armor. His breath mask was functioning on the planet and would be necesary for the battle. He had made it to the finals but it looked like it would be a tough fight. Unfortunately, his opponent was some sith monster thing. He wasn't entirely sure but he heard that it had something to do with a Grandfather. It probably didn't matter that much.

Still, his opponent was pretty strong and had a good chance of beating him. Fortunately for Hayvan, he wasn't alone, he had his army. The Army was patterned after the Mandalorians as they were one of the strongest armies in the galaxy. It would be facing the vile Sith who had spread their corruption throughout the galaxy.

So he then stood to face his opponent who then declared that the battle had begun. Immediately, his soldiers started firing on the enemy and several of his carriers and capital ships started firing on the enemy carriers above. Hayvan then pulled out his blaster pistol out and began to fire on his monster opponent. He knew it wouldn't do much but it would help to hopefully weaken his opponent somewhat.

Khavaal's crimson blade danced through the air, the blade humming and moaning woefully as it deflected the blaster shots away from Khavaal, not aimed at anything in particular, just away from his self. Most of the bolts simply hit the ground, or flew up into the air where they diffused away into nothingness, but one or two manged to hit a solider. Khavaal was more than disappointed. A blaster pistol? This would be easier than he thought.

Khavaal brought Lightreaver before his face in a semi-salute, then pushed it back behind his body as he charged at Hayvan. Covering his charge, a fresh barrage of blaster bolts from his Sith troops rained fire down on the Mandalorian ranks as Khavaal's blade sliced out towards Hayvan's neck in a horizontal motion.

Hayvan quickly brought his lightsaber to his side and quickly ignited it. The ignition happened right as the Lightreaver came up around his neck. Then, with the Lightreaver blocked, Hayvan then pushed it out of the way a bit.

With the first problem out of his way, Hayvan then jumped back with the force and then unleashed more blaster pistol shots at Khavaal some more as he was flying back.

As that was happening, strength, dexterity, and pain stimulants were flooding into his system. They would probably be useful as he was fighting a monster of some considerable stature and power.

That one little fight happened in the midst of a large battle, at that moment, the Mandalorians were also raining death upon the Sith soldiers and more transports were quickly flooding into the back of the army putting soldiers in a safe place to start and then allowing them to face danger later on as they filtered through the ranks.

For the soldiers that hadn't reached the frontlines yet, they still could see Khavaal breaking through the lines and then immediately opened fire on him. It would at least be difficult to dodge or block all of the shots of the soldiers with one lightsaber.

For many, such would be true. But Khavaal did not even require one lightsaber to deflect those blaster shots. For it is far easier to simply dodge a blaster bolt than it is to deflect one, and Khavaal wasn't the kind of person to defeat his opponent by defelecting their own blaster bolts back at them.

He enjoyed the...closeness of a face to face kill. And that was what the Sith aimed for this day. Leaping into the air, avoiding a barrage of blaster bolts from Mandalorian and Jawa alike, Khavaal changed direction in midair, corkscrewing downwards at Hayvan with tremendous speed, Lightreaver in hand.

Hayvan saw many of the blaster bolts miss Khavaal as he skillfully dodged them, clearly, this monster was a pretty powerful sith but he was still mortal.

Then, he saw the classic corkscrew. He had read about Khavaal's earlier matches and knew what had happened to the enemies that had faced it before. So Hayvan then sidestepped and force jumped into air and was passing Khavaal.

While they were passing, Hayvan hit the Lightreaver with his lightsaber and pushed it away for a bit. Then he continued to go past Khavaal hitting him along the rest of his body as he went along.

For the Mandalorians, as Hayvan went into the air and as Khavaal was corkscrewing towards the ground, one frag grenade was thrown by them and would explode upon Khavaal's landing.

Due to the speed of Khavaal's corkscrew, and his own momentum, none of the Jawa's attack made it past his guard, and Khavaal dropped down onto the ground. At the same itme, a grenade landed near his foot. If one could see inside Khavaal's helm, they would see he was grinning as he kicked the grenade back into the Mandalorian ranks. There was an explosion, and several cries of severe pain as a hole opened up in the Mandalorian ranks.

'And now...for a little space...'

With that, Khavaal drew his hands together as a huge concussive wave blasted into the Mandalorian ranks, sending armored soldiers flying into the air and off of their feet. The Opposer then turned around to face Hayvan, sprinting towards him once more. He feinted a swipe to the left, leapt to the right, then unleashed a withering hail of Force lightning on the small Jedi's position.

Hayvan saw the monster come sprinting at him again. He then moved his lightsaber to a ready position and awaited the onslaught. As the attack unfolded, Hayvan was using the right hand for the lightsaber.

When the feint came, Hayvan speeded his lightsaber to block it but upon seeing that it was a feint, he turned to the right with incredible speed as Khavaal landed there. Once there, he blocked the force lightning with his lightsaber. It did help that Hayvan had speed that was superhuman and it kind of compensated for his lack of normal strength. Also, hormones and force powers speeded his speed even further.

Then, once the force lightning was gone, Hayvan decided to return the lightning. In his left hand was a lightning gun that was fully charged and he unloaded it into Khavaal.

For the soldiers nearby that were still standing, they continually fired on Khavaal. They now knew what had happened to their bretheren and came up with a way to avoid the problems with grenades.

If Khavaal's lightning had been blocked by Hayvan's saber, what prevented Khavaal from doing the same as Hayvan fired his lightning gun? And so he did so, blocking the lightning with his lightsaber, rushing forward, pushing the lighning back as he drew ever closer to Hayvan. Once Khavaal had the Jedi in melee combat, there would be nowhere for the annoying little thing to hide.

At the same time, a fresh barrage of Sith weaponry unloaded on the Mandalorian ranks. behind the lines, a new wave of troopers joined the reserve lines, prepared to attack any weak point as soon as one appeared. Behind these reserve lines, several huge anti-capital batteries were positioned, unleashing wave after wave of energy upon the enemy naval forces. One significant sized capital vessel's shields suddenly dropped, the vessel blossoming into a brilliant nova as the vessel dropped from the sky with all the grace of a Hutt in freefall. Inspired by the small victory, the Sith pushed forward once more into the breach Khavaal had created, creating a wedge with which to divide the enemy ranks and isolate the Jedi from his support.

Hayvan saw his lighting attack fail but since he didn't entirely expect it to work, it didn't bother him. His last opponent suffered greatly from the lightning gun earlier on.

However, he then prepared for the next action. Seeing as his opponent was merely blocking lightning, he decided to take the initiative. Seeing as there was still some lighting being absorbed, Hayvan made a quick slash to the hand that was holding the Lightreaver. He made the slash pretty light so he could pull it back when needed and not be vulnerable to a counter-attack.

Given that the Mandalorians were landing everywhere on their side of the battlefield, one or two capital ships wouldn't be that much of a big deal. It still was major and within seconds of the land, hundreds of blaster shots and rockets went to hit the batteries and they were taken out. Also right around the fight, the Mandalorians were numerous enough to take out the incoming incursion of sith troops which was isolating Khavaal and keeping the two in the center of a Mandalorian circle.

Khavaal had been sure he had blasted most of the Mandalorians in the area away, but back they were for more. 'Some people have a hard time learning...' he thought, as suddenly bombardment from above sent huge flaming projectiles hailing down from above, creating massive holes in the Mandalorian ranks, and effectively breaking the circle. Anti-infantry turrets hailed fire down from the back line, along with long range bombardment units, packing a heavy punch to the Mandalorians.

But little of this concerned Khavaal. He could have wiped the battlefield clean with a single hand had he needed to. All of this machinery was insignificant compared to the power of the Force. Still, it was allowing to focus more on the battle.

As he blocked the lightning, Hayvan seemed to make an attack on Khavaal's saber hilt. A fair enough decision, save for the Khavaal had two hands, one of which came away from holding the hilt to push back the attack with the Force. Considering the light weight of the Jawa, it would mst likely send him tumbling head over heels. Without delay, those Sith troops that had managed to gather to his rallying call fired a united volley of blaster bolts at the little Jawa as Khavaal rushed the small Jedi directly after the bolts, his lightsaber blows coming from above, the left and right in a flurry of swift moves surprising for the hulking, armroed Opposer.

Hayvan flew into the air with great speed as his initial plan failed. Fortunately for Hayvan, he was sent fast enough that he didn't have to worry about many of the sith shots which ultimately missed. For the ones that would have hit, Hayvan blocked them with his lightsaber and sent them back into the sith ranks. For good measure, he also tossed an ion grenade into the midst of them.

As Hayvan landed, he saw Khavaal coming at a full sprint towards him. As he didn't fully want to face that kind of fury, he made a force pull on Khavaal and side stepped. The force pull would ensure that by the time Hayvan was done sidestepping and turning, Khavaal would be going past him and would not be able to turn around.

So as Khavaal was starting his flurry of moves, Hayvan was to the right side of Khavaal and was slashing at his right arm. Then as Khavaal kept on moving, Hayvan was going to be hitting the back of Khavaal.

In the larger battle, though Mandalorians were getting hurt, they were still there. At the point when the volley at Hayvan had happened, Mandalorians were able to down a great number of sith with both weapons and grenades. With even more reinforcements to the back, they began the ring around the main contestants again.

In the skies above, the Mandalorian ships which had been held up for a bit were then unleashing their fury from the sky. The capital ships were now attacking the sith ships and unleashing every bomb they could on the enemy ships. Bombers and Fighters were also coming out and blasting away sith ranks like they were nothing. The transports were then a little less cautious and started dropping their mandalorian payloads in the middle of hostile territory. However, since the payloads were mandalorian, they were expected to be able to survive and even achieve many goals while on the ground. Once the transports dropped their payload, they began driving along the ground knocking tons of sith troopers to their deaths.

Khavaal grinned wryly. The Jedi's whole battle plan was based on the idea that there were in fact real Mandalorians. Not quite so, these were just imitations. And to prove as such, his Sith forces tactics suddenly changed.

Without warning, the Capital ships moved forward, drawing closer to the 'Mandalorian' vessels, firing upon them at point blank range, lighter vessels even ramming heavier capital ships, sending huge masses of both fleets plumeting to the earth in flames. At the same time, innumerable squadrons of fighters poured out from the holds of the ships, covering massive transports to the rear lines before the squadrons dropped their loads onto the Mandalorian lines. Newly installed anti-air and artillery turrets unleashed hell on both the sky and the ground, protected by massive shield generators on the rear lines.

As this occured, Sith groudn tactics changed as well. Suddenly the ranks parted as wave after wave of speeder bikes poured into the Mandalorian lines, impaling the armored soldiers, shooting them down or sending them flying. Once the line had been broken, the Sith leapt from the bikes, sending the craft slying into the Mandalorian midlines before their reactors detonated, created massive damage and even larger gaps to the Mandalorians.

As for the duel? Khavaal moved past Hayvan quickly. Open to attack, he quickly rolled out of the way, though a nick from the saber melted the outer plates of his armor. No real harm done, but that a Jawa had broken his defence to that point was unfathomable. Khavaal gathered together his power and unleashed a massive shockwave outwards, though more biased towards the Mandalorian side of the battlefield. The result? Mandalorians once more knew the fear of freefall towards solid ground.

Then, Khavaal grinned, his hands raising up to point at Hayvan. Immediately the Jawa would feel a great burden upon his shoulders, as if he were carrying one of his Mandalorian troops on his very back. Right afterwards, Khavaal's other hand gestured with a sharp beckon, and the Jawa would suddenly feel his rebreather mask being pulled away from his face, barely making contact with his face anymore as it came free. Immediately Khavaal was on the offensive again, His saber flashing out a flurry of attacks from all sides - cuts from the left, followed by a blow towards the right shoulder and then a lunge towards the stomach. But this time, Khavaal moved at a more measured pace, preventing his own momentum from being used against him.

OOC: hbd, too.

ooc: thanks

ic: Hayvan was glad he had at least pierced some of the armor of Khavaal but he had to keep on fighting. The small victory would be enjoyed a bit later when he would be able to enjoy it.

As that had happened, he felt a tug on his breather. So he quickly pushed his rebreather back on. Then, with a tinge of rage, he began force pulling on the armor that covered Khavaal's face, he was hoping to break it and maybe, the air would actually be poisonous to the monster.

However, with that sideshow going on, Hayvan had to deal with Khavaal's real weapon, his lightreaver. Fortunately, Hayvan had enough speed to fully see the flurry that was to come. First, he held off the attack on his right and then left and threw back a a lunge. Then, with his speed, he swung his lightsaber back and forth in a way that would enable him to hit to each leg of Khavaal.

In the space above, the Mandalorian ships decided to remain in their position but they still had fighter screens around them. One of the reasons they didn't come down was because capital ships of both side were knocked out at the lower altitudes. Also, they would be hard if not impossible to hit way up there. However, they were still able to help the Mandalorians. They did this mostly by dropping tons and tons of bombs and launching dozens of missiles towards both enemy ships and personel. This also enabled them to take out the shield generators with ease as the capital ships could hit anywhere. Then they took out the turrets.

On the ground, new Mandalorian tanks began to appear in the hills above the battle. At that range, they began simply lauching missles to hit the enemy troops below along side the artillery. However, they began to move into the valley to fight up close and personal against the enemy.

With the mandalorians themselves, they began to form a larger perimeter around Khavaal but they still would easily be able to hit him. They also quickly recovered from the attacks with the bikes. Bikes were then rapidly targeted on the battlefield to prevent that attack again.

Also in the hills, numerous snipers began to appear though masked against the terrain of the hills. In addition to the sith officers, they also targeted Khavaal. Given that he was far taller than Hayvan, they were capable of hitting him without endangering Hayvan.

Both of you stop being so uber, some of this stuff is absolutely ridiculous. Hayvan seems to be auto-hitting and Boli is always avoiding them (with reason, but you gotta get hit sometime in a battlefield).

OOC: There's still a ridiculous amount of crap going on in the whole battle. Tanks and snipers in the hills out of nowhere?
