CHARACTER HISTORY
Khelsea was brought up in an upper-class family on the planet of Naboo. Born in the city of Keren, she resided there in her family’s abode until she reached the age of five. Since her parents were generally busy, she was brought up by a servant who performed as her nanny. Since then, she spent the majority of her life living in Theed, the capital city of Naboo. There, she studied at a distinguished boarding school with tough entrance exams which filtered all but the most promising children on the planet.
Growing up with a talented brother seven years older was no easy task, even for those who are gifted. Without an incredible work ethic and a strong will, the aforementioned will wither away in the shadow of their older sibling’s greatness. However, this was not the case for Khelsea. From a young age, she displayed qualities showing she was no average child. She obtained top scores in all her classes, even in physical exams – excelling at stamina and endurance tests – despite not being physically dominating. She found herself in an accelerated program at her school, and eventually graduating with classmates two years older than herself. She has now completed a degree in medical care, allowing her to treat small wounds efficiently and is proficient in drug application and usage. From a young age, it was clear she was a natural at water activities. Khelsea enjoys water sports such as rowing, water-skiing, and diving. However, her trademark was swimming, which she excelled at. She competed in Naboo’s planetary-wide swimming competitions for all her schooling years, finishing no lower than the top five for female human swimmers in her age category and even sometimes earning medals in age categories beyond her own. In fact, even the native Gungans who were a naturally amphibious species recognize her abilities to manipulate movements in the water. Khelsea has made more than a few Gungan friends over the years, bonding over the topic of swimming.
Summers were spent away from school, but learning was rarely put on hold. She has had beginner flying lessons with her brother, and feels she can fly confidently with a bit of experience. As requested by her father, the head of security at her residence has taught her in hand-to-hand combat, self-defense, and blaster operation. He has noted that she is a decent shot with both blaster pistols and snipers, and has been quoted telling her if she ever fails out of school, she could make a generous sum by being head of security for another wealthy family. She also received Jedi training sporadically over the summer months, as per her father’s request. She was hesitant to learn, believing that her abilities would be overlooked by spending few days every month learning basic techniques and practice the foundations of lightsaber combat. However, due to her general competence and the restrictions on Force-enhancing performances at athletic competitions, she is used to performing all activities without relying on the Force.
Nowadays, her brother can be found during off duty hours at the airbase near Harte Secur, or at home in Keren. He has a full time job as a civilian pilot, but has had training and experience in military spacecraft. As for Khelsea, she has decided to peruse full time Jedi Padawan status, and look to promote herself through the Jedi ranks, an area in which she feels she still has a lot to learn…

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Khelsea is a quick learner. Her ability to learn is exceptional, whether the teaching method used is visual, kinesthetic, auditory, or a combination of the three. Her ability to observe and learn from other’s mistakes has allowed her to gain wisdom far beyond her years. She has been known by her instructors to ask questions which aid in improving her performance and ask for advice while practicing new skills in order to perform optimally in the shortest amount of time possible. Furthermore, Khelsea excels at watersports. She is also ambitious, spending her free time looking to self-improve various techniques or learn new skills. Her reputation of brilliance combined with her innate ability to connect with others allows group members to follow her lead willingly. However, she tends to undervalue those who are not highly regarded by her, and fail to use their full potential, preferring to pick up their slack herself. Rarely are her stunning good looks a factor in her successes. Khelsea despises the idea of losing credit for her success to her looks, and works hard to prove herself to those who judge her. She is by no means vain, but she does recognize her beauty as an asset. Her parents regularly dealt with merchants of all origins from around the galaxy, and recognized the importance of being multilingual, which led to her schooling in different languages.
For a Jedi almost into her early twenties, Khelsea’s Force abilities could be considered underdeveloped. Ambitious, driven, and personable. A perfect combination of traits for someone looking for a career in politics. However, Khelsea is more than just these three traits. She is confident, has an excellent attention span, and is calm under pressure. She is very rarely deceived, as she keeps her own counsel and has a relatively decent judgment of character. She enjoys reading and learning new things, allowing her skillset to be very versatile. Khelsea is a good listener and can be quiet, but if the situation calls for it, she will not hesitate to take charge, be outspoken and provide adequate leadership.
