Avreet took Vyrzen to Korriban, wanting to show him one of the most important planet for the Sith. While personally disliking it, the Crusader hoped the boy would learn something new on his own. Vyrzen was free to go wherever he wanted, except for the ancient tombs and the city of Dreshdae, the first full of deadly traps, the latter full of bastardly Sith 'purebloods'. Those red skinned jerks prided themselves on their pure blood and red skin, thinking they were above others because of that, but they had surprisingly many human features. Of course, when asked, they revealed one of their ancestors was a human. Typical. Avreet definitely did not want those people to poison Vyrzen's mind, so in the end, the best option for the kid was going through the archives, studying history and combat techniques he was interested in.
Each day, the Crusader and his apprentice practiced the Force powers Vyrzen knew aboard Your Grave, improving the kid's abilities. When Vyrzen's energy did not suffice to power Force abilities, the two sparred. Slowly, of course, very slowly, so the other one had enough time to react. The kid often found himself overwhelmed by dual Makashi, and Avreet had no intention of cutting his own apprentice to shreads during training just to show his incredible power like some Crusaders did.
This day was special though. Vyrzen did well on his last mission, unknowingly earning himself a reward. Avreet, sitting in a seat of his ship, played with something in his palms. After he opened his hand and revealed the mysterious object, it could be seen it was a purple lightsaber crystal, the one he had found during the last mission with his Master, when he was still just an Acolyte. He thought it'd make a great gift, especially since Vyrzen did not have a lightsaber yet. It'd be up to the Acolyte to refine the crystal and make it usable, but Avreet had faith in the kid and the archives were full of material focusing on building a lightsaber. The Mon Calamari had used it himself when creating his first lightsaber, one of the twins hanging on his belt.
Feeling the Acolyte returning to the ship, the only place he could call home, Avreet stood up and went to greet him, meeting him in the meditation/training room. Perfect. Levitating the purple crystal into the kid's hands, he smiled, "This is your reward for doing well on the mission. Take your time when attuning it to your Force signature and building a lightsaber. The weapon will be your life. Before you do it though, let's put your joy to some use." Avreet stopped smiling and knelt down to the metal floor in his typical meditating pose. "What do you know about Force lightning?" That was going to be the only thing Vyrzen was going to learn today, dedicating the rest to constructing his signature weapon.
