BIOGRAPHY
[fancybox4="https://i.imgur.com/YkTIkkm.jpg"]Kira Ussej Bac was born on Alderaan during the war between the Jedi Knights and the Exiles. Her parents, Padric and Talia, were killed when she was an infant. Kira was briefly raised by her grandparents before her Force affinity was discovered, and she was brought into the Jedi Order while a toddler. She has only one known living relative, a paternal cousin named Ahdam Bac, though they have never met.
When she came of age, Kira was given a battlefield commission as a Jedi Knight but rarely saw battle herself. Most of her time was spent working in operational logistics for the Jedi and the Republic, when it was still involved in the war effort. These assignments were typically mundane, and Kira felt some guilt for not being part of the war when so many other Jedi and soldiers were risking their lives, but the tragedy at Ilum became a pivotal moment for her nonetheless. When the Grand Master turned against the Order, those who were providing operational support for the battle were stunned. Kira believed she helped to support a massacre.
Most Jedi in Kira’s position were able to move on or find some sort of absolution for their involvement, but Kira was left shaken. Unable to effectively discharge her duties, Kira was given a brief leave of absence and has taken on a journey of self-discovery so she can rediscover her inner peace.

PERSONALITY/POWER
[fancybox4="https://i.imgur.com/7k3SkSY.gif"]Like most Jedi of her era, Kira was trained in the midst of war without the formal apprenticeship of Jedi generations past. With limited battlefield experience, however, her combat skills were honed mostly in training scenarios and practice. Formal application and testing of her skills with a lightsaber are few and far between.
Kira prefers to focus on the Force as opposed to a lightsaber. Her connection to the Force manifests itself in two primary ways. One is her powers of healing, an ability she embraced and took a liking to from an early age. This trait helped her be at ease in logistical support roles, feeling that while she was supporting necessary acts of violence she was not directly participating in them. Most of her limited battlefield experience was for healing.
The second is her deeply emotional connection to the Force. Though most Jedi have a telepathic sense of the general emotions of other people, Kira can feel emotions and takes on their weight and, at times, burden. This helps her read people and make connections with others. The downside to this trait is introversion and the emotional energy it takes to be surrounded by such heightened emotions, particularly in a time of war. This was only heightened by the tragedy at Ilum.[/fancybox4]
