Do you remember the episode in season one of The Clone Wars 'Lair of Grievous' where Master Fisto fought the General . What would be the final outcome had Fisto gone into a one on one battle with the General and R6 or the General's Guards had not interfered with the battle .

On paper, Grievous. Unfortunately, he's been nerfed over and over again so much that it's impossible to take him seriously.

As much as I love Kit Fisto, he's a master of the most basic, restrictive and limited of the lightsaber forms. Grievous would stomp all over him.

Fisto would win on account of being the good guy in a kids' show.

Basic does not mean weak, and Shii-cho is hardly restrictive. The basics are the general techniques that complex moves build off of. When you master one basic move, it has nearly limitless applications. The other forms, which have complex moves that cannot be built upon, are in some ways more restrictive. Regardless, when it comes to comparing two fighters, its not their styles that make the difference; two masters are separated by skill, brains, and experience, and those are the factors that determine victory. Grievous has more physical potential and skill, though, I would believe, Kit Fisto has more experience and battle cunning. I favor experience and knowledge over brute physical prowess.

Pre-Clone Wars series Grievous would win, because then he was supposed to be an unstoppable force. Obi-Wan, one of the best lightsaber duelists in the galaxy, lost to Grievous and only got lucky with the blaster.

Post-Clone Wars series... Shit, Jar Jar could beat Grievous. They might as well have him grow a handlebar mustache and yell "I'll get you next time, Gadget!" at the end of every episode.
