It was the middle of the day on the Sith world of Korriban. The sun sat high in the sky, beating down upon the red, rocky surface of the planet mercilessly. The air itself seemed to shimmer with the heat, unable to withstand the harsh gaze of the sun without losing its integrity. In the distance stood the temple, claiming the lives of the unworthy even now, as two contestants made their way to the battle location and prepared to fight until one was victorious over the other. Rocky outcroppings rose all around, forming a natural arena of sorts. Paving the ground of the makeshift arena were rocks, most of which were little more than pebbles. One, however, stood above all the rest. It stood at waist height and made up the centre point of the rocky, uneven fighting ground, serving as a focal point for the bout.

Two combatants stood on opposite sides of the arena, rock outcroppings rising around them in every direction. Both combatants were members of the Lords of the Sith. Both were warriors and worthy of the title. Ryu Wren and Internecion would face off in the dust and the heat of Korriban, warrior to warrior. Regardless of their experience; regardless of their place in the Brotherhood, upon this field they were equals, and before the day was done one would emerge victorious, while the other would emerge much worse for wear, but alive, even if they were lacking a limb or two.

The sun was beat down on Ryu as he began to sweat slightly. The durasteel spikes that extended upwards from his shoulder regions caught the light and seemed to almost glow, redirecting a bright light every so often in multiple directions. Upon his belt shook a number of device, Flash grenades being clearly visible alongside his two lightsaber hilts.

He was the first to arrive, at least as he looked around he thought he was. It had been a while since he had seen his opponent, the last time was when he had brought him to the Sith, how fate has a funny way of creating these situations. As he awaited his opponents arrival he began shaking his muscles, rolling his shoulders and keeping his body primed for combat. He made sure to keep his eyes peeled, constantly maintaining awareness around him through the means of both sight and sound.

There would be no way he would be crept up on, he would fight head on. Hopefully he would end it quickly, he was beginning to get hungry.
