DESCRIPTION
The KPR servant droid is a diminutive, tracked automation manufactured by Lerrimore Droids, a subsidiary of the Lerrimore Contracting Company. One of the company more consistently popular products, the KPR is considered reliable and fairly sturdy, if not especially capable or exciting.

The KPR is simple in construction, consisting of a domed, barrel-shaped upper body mounted on a tracked chassis. Though called a "servant droid", the KPR is generally marketed as a low-end maintenance and security unit, although it does have a few domestic subroutines as well. It is capable of performing diagnostics and minor repairs on a variety of equipment, and though it does not possess any weapons, it is equipped with a surveillance programming and can use its integrated comlink to raise an alarm against intruders or attackers in its assigned area.

KPRs have proven remarkably popular in various agricultural, resource extraction and heavy manufacturing markets. Smart enough to be trusted operating on their own, they are typically placed in charge of monitoring and maintaining remote or otherwise seldom-visited locations. They have dedicated subroutines for the upkeep of security fences and lighting systems.

Overall, KPR servant droids are fairly common in the Galaxy, though they are often assigned to out-of-the-way locations and seldom seen by organics.

LEGALITY
Legal. Being unarmed, KPR servant droids have no significant restrictions placed on them in most of the Galaxy.

INTENT
To bring a droid from canon into our site's fanon.
