Kranos Kri, The Iziz Twi'lek​

Note: Biography has not been written though every section contains vital information that would be suited in the biography section, I feel this is somewhat a unique way to do a profile and hope that it meets acceptance!

COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:

Well, what can I say? I'm a Twi'lek through and through. I take great pride and care in my appearance as one representing a great species should. A beautiful, elegant and intellectual race, Twi'lek, I wouldn't have it any other way. The pigment of my skin is a common, Rutian sky blue and I often dress my lekku (brain tails or head tails to a common species) in black cloth, a particularly unique design that has been shared throughout my vast and ancient family. I am of average height, 1.905 metres to be precise (6'3 to a simpleton) and I am often seen to dress myself in black robes made from the finest material, not all too different from that of the illustrious Jedi. To separate myself from the rest of the majestic Twi'lek species, Rutain or Lethan, I carry the mark of Kri, a tribal family mark burned below the eye of a youngling not too long after birth.

PERSONALITY:

I grew up under strict teachings and I was brought up to take pride in my race and in my home of Onderon. Such a beautiful place is my home, a home of great trade, technology and development. I hold a great deal of respect for any species; treat all as you would treat a friend. My upbringing burned the belief of "Innocent until proven guilty" deep into me, one too many times had I saw Nikto traders arrested by Onderon soldiers only to be rejected fair trial and then face humiliating punishment or even death. A corrupt Onderon would never allow for peaceful living, a right to any inhabitant species.

My teachings as a youngling consisted mainly of learning about the Jedi, guardians of peace and justice. The force was something that interested me greatly, often I would try to move a rock with a simple hand movement but of course this was to no avail. As I grew and gathered more intellect over time I stretched my horizons of the Jedi and began to learn about Jedi hierarchy from Initiate to Grand Master, about the construction of the lightsaber and about Jedi history. I was enthralled, often amazed by such a people and I would read tales of great, exciting and dangerous adventures daily. Fighting for peace in the galaxy was something I was most certainly interested in.

After schooling as a youngster I would attend Ov Taraba, the university located in my home of Iziz. There I would study the art of diplomacy for one thousand days and nights until achieving a level of excellence in the subject. I thought of turning to combat, I had the athletic prowess to do so only I was much better with words; I could tame the most fearsome of rivers with a soothing statement.

I enjoy a peaceful, political lifestyle. I, like many of my species, choose Intellect over the sword, brains over brawn. Protection of my people, the people of Onderon, Human and Bith alike is priority number one. I believe in equality, harmony and the right to voice opinions regardless of species. Consider yourself my enemy should you try and break the honour of Onderon.

LIKES AND DISLIKES:

Partial am I to fun, entertainment and chatter at the Iziz spaceport cantina, As a local, I enjoy the rhythm and tunes played by the skilled Bith band and I can often be seen dancing along to aubade or jatz. Currently, I stand as the pazaak grand champion at the cantina. Pazaak is a game of great intellect and I hold my title true; open to any challengers!

I do not visit many other cantinas, this is mainly down to my stance against slave dancers. Many a' time have I combated the problem, often with words but on the occassion violence has occurred. Slave dancing is an awful mark of greed and of lust, often my people are shamed by the acts of Hutt crime lords who demand the capture of beautiful female Twi'leks for dancing in popular cantinas. I would rise against any who dare use such practice.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

My strengths lie in diplomacy. I am a great intellectual, carrying a lot of dignity. I hold a great deal of respect for other beings and life forms and my devotions lie with free democracy. Not only am I a great speaker with a vast knowledge of the galaxy but I can handle myself effectively in combat. Defence I feel is a must for a diplomat such as myself, there is often a time when words heat up a situation to a violent breaking point.

During my time studying diplomacy at Ov Taraba I was sure to take day long breaks to hone my skills with a blaster. I was invited often by my university colleagues who were studying ancient combat to enter the training sector of this vast place and that I did, with intesive, critical training I soon learned to become agile, quick and responsive. As my time ended at the university I was sure to thank my Aqualish combatants for all they had trained me in.

Weakness? I don't like to think I am weak though lurking in my back of my mind I know that I often fall for beautiful Twi'lek females, a major hinderance in my diplomatic duties. Their touch, their smell and their grace can often drive you insane.
