We are being called in to destroy a swarm Krillik that are infestating the Subterrane Mine on Gaulus.
========
The mission is open to any Independant and GA players that would like to jump in. When people join in a dice thread will be made.

"Please sir! Get them Krilliks out of the mine! You have no idea what sort of trouble they are causing for us." The head miner begged the General who was carefully taking note of everything he has been told so far as he waited for a partner or two to arrive. He hoped at least that his encrypted message has reached someone from the Galactic Alliance.

"Don't worry. The infestation in your mine will be taken care of. You won't be able to tell they were there in the first place by the time we are done." The General will tell the head miner, "In the meantime. Make sure that all of your men are out of the mine. Don't want any miners getting caught up in what may unfold."

He will watch as color faded from the miner. Standing there almost in a daze before running off to do as Tycho suggested.

With him the rebel officer has ten soldiers (npc) to assist in the mission. It is going to be a big job, so the extra hands are necessary to have. Naturally he hoped that he brought enough people to bring the infestation under control. He had heard of Krilliks, but this will be the first time he will be seeing them with his own eyes. As he headed over to the mine entrance, the man will do one final check on his gear.

This marked Teran's first time out on an official mission for the Galactic Alliance, and he wasn't actually sure he was supposed to be here. He'd received the distress beacon, "borrowed" a ship and pilot droid, and made for the mine. The flight had been spent at first trying to meditate because that was what Jedi did. That hadn't worked out very well, so he swapped over to trying to read up on "Killiks." They seemed pretty nasty, and he started wondering what he'd gotten himself into here.

Well, no time to learn like the present, he sighed and pushed himself up from his chair as the ship set down. He snatched his newly fashioned lightsaber and slipped it into his satchel. He had a feeling he'd need it, and he still wasn't sure it was a good idea to openly flash something like that around. People were liable to think he was a Sith, and if they didn't think he was a Sith then they'd be trying to kill him for being a Jedi.

What a conundrum I find myself in, he muttered as he made his way down the ramp of the ship and toward the location popping up on his GPS tracker. Seeing the cluster of armed men and women, he took it that he'd found the right place and slipped the datapad away.

How did one go about initiating missions? He didn't know any of these people, and he barely knew what he was doing. Time to jump in. Just like everything else, he thought to himself.

Was there a... he probably should be careful what he's talking in case these weren't the armed men he was looking for ...signal sent out from here? he asked, glancing around suspiciously. @Nommie

Tycho came to a stop at the mouth of the mine. Taking one glance at the group of soldiers he noted Teran in the group. Perfect he arrived. Yes the General knows who is standing in the group as he takes the time to look through the roster each day to see who is still around and who the new recruits are, "It is good to see you with us Atrix." He will simply state before giving the signal for the group to move in.

Moving into the mine first to lead the way, the criminal will not get far before the first Krillik came into view. The man coupd barely make it out in the poorly lit tunnel. But luckily it's insect hide reflected some of what light was in the tunnel.

Coming to a stop the General raised his Westar Carbine and put two bolts into the insect's body. It crumbled to the ground without a single audible noise minus the body hitting the ground. Though it didn't echo much. Hopefully this will be a continuing trend.

Looking down at the dead creature the General stepped around its body to give the Krillik some respect as he led the group further into the mine. As the group heads deeper into the mine the lighting became poorer. This should give the rebels an edge over the insects inhabiting the mine.

Teran gave a respectful nod to Tycho as he was addressed. Good to be here, General, he said honestly. He was excited. Even if this was going to be a life threatening mission, he was excited about getting out and doing something productive for the Alliance.

They headed into the mine, and left the miners and workers behind, leaving only an inky darkness and the smell of Killiks. Lovely, he thought to himself, reaching into his satchel and pulling out the hilt of his lightsaber. With all the non-Rebels left behind, there was no reason not to use it, and it was far more deadly than a blaster (contrary to the opinions of some smugglers).

He moved up toward the front just after the General gunned down their first enemy. Lightsabers were close range weapons, and he'd do better intercepting attacks than hanging at the rear.

Any word on how many there are supposed to be? he whispered as he moved next to the General. They crept forward without signs of any more of their enemies, which brought them ever-closer to any central area that might contain an area where the creatures could be removed with heavy repeaters or explosives. @Nommie
