BIOGRAPHY
A descendant of survivors of the Lasan genocide, Krom doesn't have many ties to homeworld of his species, be it Lasan or Lira San. He grew up on Fresia when he wasn't starbound with his parents, on their way to yet another embassy. He's pretty sure they worked in politics, but he was too young when they were around to care or pay attention to what they did. They died in the crossfire between some Rangers and Pykes at a space station when he was only eight standard years old.

With no guardians, family, or friends to take care of him, Krom took to the streets and developed what skills he could. Running with the criminal underground did develop several skills like shooting, splicing, and general engineering, which became very useful when he made the ballsy decision to split from the crew he was running with, with the entire take from a recent job. Thankfully they were Fresian-based and didn't play a part with the larger crime syndicates, so they did not follow Krom when he hitched a ride off-planet and hopped off on Xa Fel.

Now in his late teens, Krom thought to make a bit of a career for himself, using his engineering experience to land a job at the Xa Fel shipyards. Despite his skill, Krom was thrown to the especially dreaded work area of maintenance, working on dirty ships for ungrateful customers and an even worse manager. He slaved away in maintenance for seven long years before he made another ballsy move to hopefully change his life for the better. With the captain out elsewhere on the planet, Krom snuck aboard the ship after doing the necessary maintenance and took off, hyperjumping through several star systems before being out of fuel and stranded in space.

It didn't take long before a bounty hunter found the ship and boarded, in search of a criminal that obviously wasn't piloting this ship but was supposed to be. With Krom at blaster point, the bounty hunter took him back to Xa Fel, where the owner of the ship was claimed as a bounty. Having burned his bridges with the shipyard, Krom pleaded with the bounty hunter to take him back to the criminal's ship and leave without another word. The bounty hunter agreed, so long as Krom had no intentions of claiming any of the bounty reward. Now refueled and inspired by the bounty hunter, Krom set out to acquire his own bounty hunting license, armed with the skills of his shady past and the equipment of a previously wanted criminal - working for no one, and taking no shit.

Personality
Krom is kind of a dick. Life has been harsh and unkind to him and he reflects that in his demeanor. He doesn't enjoy working with others but does so often anyway. He tends to keep to himself unless provoked by someone who has gained his trust. His quickest allies are usually those who join him in his curmudgeon-like complaining. Krom has no loyalty or trust for anyone or anything - purposefully seeking the life of a bounty hunter to be tied to nothing but his next catch.
