A harsh life of slavery has hardened him, allowing him to endure certain situations in which one would fail or give up. The ability to see through the Force enables him, at times, to see a person`s aura and thus know whether or not the person is a threat.
The torments he`s had to endure made socializing difficult for him. If he feels threatened, he may respond with violence. While he tends not to interact with others, it`s simply because of the general lack of socializing that made him quite shy, in a way.

PERSONALITY:
While his mind has been corrupted by the Sith, he retains most of his original personality save for the parts deemed unfit by his master. Cautious by nature, he tends to view most situations with the possibility of danger. Being a slave, a poorly treated slave, he tends to keep to himself and rarely interacts ( or refuses to interact ) with others, but perhaps that might change with time if…when he adapts to an environment where he is not viewed as a slave. He once felt an urge to protect those who could not protect himself, particularly those who are being bullied, but now he holds nothing but contempt for such, considering them " too weak to protect themselves " .
BIOGRAPHY:
His memories corrupted, Kryos` true past remains unknown, only a few know the truth. Orphaned from birth, Kryos was born on Tatooine, a harsh planet in a cruel galaxy. The orphanage in which he lived the first seven years of his life was the place he learned pain and suffering. He holds little knowledge of his birth parents, holding only a single memory of them: their death at the hands of the orphanage bullies who spared him only to submit him to the most sadistic acts they could think of. The caretakers hated Kryos for being a Miraluka, a burden, stating many times that " it would have been better if he was simply buried alive instead of eating their food ". Not only did they beat him often, they also forced him to perform the strenuous of tasks, earning him many of scars to come, many which would not heal completely. The rest of the kids tended to pick on him and bully him, being the only Miraluka in the orphanage they often called him “ the blind kid “, soon becoming the primary victim for beatings and humiliation. He was constantly reminded by the caretakers that his parents were weak and that they deserved to die, a notion in which he began to believe in and through which he began to hate his parents. As he turned seven, he was taken in by one of the wealthy families on the planet. Officially, he was adopted into the family, but in truth he was more of a slave than a member of the family. There, he remained for another seven years of his life. The patriarch of the family was a human politician in his late 40`s, his wife was a young Corellian woman, mid-twenties ( by human standards ). They provided him with very limited education, just enough so he could perform his duties. Their son was an arrogant teenager who enjoyed abusing both Kryos and Layla, a Twi`Lek girl who was also “ adopted “ into the family. While the son usually used Kryos as a “training dummy “, beating him up on numerous times and using him as a scapegoat, abuse towards Layla was a lot more harsher. He tried to protect her, but wasn`t able to do so all the time, most of the time getting whipped by the patriarch as punishment for disobeying his son. It went on like this until the age of 14, when he first attempted to escape. He didn`t wish for Layla to suffer the same fate as him, so he was able to form an escape plan which included her. Unfortunately for Kryos, Layla has decided to betray him to the patriarch`s son. On the night of the escape he was surprised by a stun rod stuck into his back. When he came to his senses, he was strapped to a makeshift laboratory table. There, he watched as Layla and the owner`s son laughed at him before the son began to perform his experiments on him. He was subjected to such cruelty for a year before both the owner and his son were slain in cold blood by the Jedi Master Ryn Sulumor. The Jedi Master sensed that Kryos was Force-Sensitive, but refused to save him, instead taking him to one of the Jedi temples where he was subjected to extensive torture for sport and interrogation for information he did not have. He was tortured to the brink of death, the mercy of death being denied to him, instead his body was healed only for the tortures to begin again and again and again.
Through years, his body was surprisingly hardened. He discovered some of his other Force abilities in the moments where he was not actively tortured, using the Force to ease his pain and heal some minor wounds. That life went on until the age of 21, when he was rescued by the Sith Crusader Avlis Dioddai. The Sith stormed the temple and executed most of his Jedi captors before he released Kryos from his shackles. The Sith saved him only because he sensed strength in young Kryos, a possibility to overcome his weaknesses and become a worthy Sith. Kryos would be eternally grateful for being rescued, prepared to sacrifice his life for his master. After leaving the temple, the Sith bestowed Kryos with a new name : Zaerus.
