Kyber Control is an extremely complex ability and learned skill that involves a complete mastery over kyber. Unlike the command over kyber crystals most may possess, this particular ability grants an individual the power to manipulate the day and night axis of the Force within the lattices of kyber. In other words, the individual in question can resist the negative drawbacks of kyber in large quantities, bypass the near sentient resistance all kyber crystals possess and increase the energy output they are capable of producing. To say the least, this knowledge and skill can turn an individual into a terrifying weapon and whatever kyber in their possession into a near endless source of ammunition.

▵Known applications

Kyber Control is an exceptional skill learned by Leviticus, a Master of the Force, in order to bend kyber crystals, whatever the quantity, to his will. By twisting their axis of the Force into his favor, he can force a crystal to release a devastating amount of energy. Much like the Tragedy on Ilum, in which Syresh Lapar unleashed the overwhelming power imbued by the Exiles. However, whereas Syreash only unleashed released the previously empowered kyber crystal, Leviticus is capable of bringing a crystal to its full potential and unleashing it as a more controlled, less chaotic result. Much like the Death Star thousands of years later, albeit through the Force and without the capabilities of destroying entire worlds. At least, for now.

With mastery of a kyber crystal, there is knowledge. Knowledge of its potential and how best to harness that potential. While Leviticus, with this skill, could mimic the Tragedy of Ilum, he could also create and design technology needed to concentrate a kyber’s immense power. In other words, given time and resources, an individual with this knowledge could create a super weapon of extraordinary power. One that could be imbued and unleashed without direct oversight from Leviticus or any other individual with this knowledge. Weapons that could petrify armies within the blink of an eye or turn entire continents into craters from worlds away.

Such knowledge requires enormous talent in the Force and a deep-rooted connection to the dark side. However, like the Force they embody, this mastery over kyber crystals can also be used through the light. Rather than turning into weapons of destructive power, a master of the light side could instead manipulate the kyber lattices into a renewable, endless source of energy. Powering shields that could withstand bombardments and sieges of any manner, creating a sustainable energy that could power struggling worlds or industrial powerhouses. There is almost no end to the both awesome and terrifying power of kyber.

While the drawbacks are minor, given the ability is aimed to prevent the limitations that come with controlling kyber crystals, an individual imbuing crystals with their own strength rather to unleash its destructive potential can be extremely draining. Better to create a design to house and harness kyber than to take the primitive route like Syresh and the Exiles did on Ilum.

▵Intent

The intent of this to create a capstone perk to fit with Leviticus’ knowledge over kyber crystals as he studies the crystal left behind on Ilum by Syresh Lapar, as well as to pave the way for him to create a superweapon, which has been canonized for this timeline. However, this skill and knowledge is open for all. Although for a light sider, using its devastating potential is strictly for the dark side. Ultimately, super weapons would be more reserved for the Sith and a limitless energy source more for the Jedi.

Lorewise, this is sound. Jedi and Sith were noted to have harnessed the ability to manipulate kybers in this fashion since ancient times. It's also a pretty unique capstone! Kudos on that!

Just a quick note that, obviously, like other capstones, it cannot be used in traditional PvP or to gain an advantage in traditional PvP, and any technology developed with this knowledge would still need to be approved by the Tech team in the technology boards.
