DESCRIPTION​

The KYD-21 blaster pistol is compact a hand weapon produced by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc., one of the Galaxy's premier small arms manufacturers. It is a small but well made weapon, about 1 kilogram in weight and around 25 centimeters in length. The weapon can fire both medium bolts and stun blasts, and has a capacity of 75 shots with a standard power pack. Range is 25 meters, the KYD-21 being optimized for close, relatively stealthy work.

KYD-21s are favored by beings looking for a small, unobtrusive weapon, but who want something with a little more punch than a standard holdout blaster. They are a popular self defense weapon, and are also used by infiltrators and assassins.
