Biography

Kyra Vale-Haas was raised on Zelos II with her older brother, Anton. They lived with their grandmother, helping with her farm and market stall. When she was old enough, she was put through the educational system along with her brother. School would take up most of her day, leaving little time to herself. But, when she did have free time, she would constantly be found in the woods behind the fields, inspecting plants and even hunting a little.

As she became more of an avid hunter, Kyra gained a small reputation in her town for always bringing in the finest meat. She would bring in deer, squirrels, ducks, and rabbits. Her accuracy with a bow was unparalleled in her town, but she still make a small living out of it. Contradictory to her hunting escapades, Kyra loved Nature. She would go out into the woods and catalog each new plant species that she found, bringing her sketches and data to the library at her school to compare them to the known species of plants. All of her findings were already discovered, but it was fun nonetheless.

This love of plants would eventually lead her to the Naboo University of Sciences, majoring in Biology, with a minor in Botany. Her experience in college lead to be much longer than she had thought. She was recommended by a professor for the University's Doctorate program, which ended up adding few more years to her stay at the school.

Thanks to the Doctorate program she met Ithica Vale, her future wife. Though neither of them knew it at the time. The two met when Ithica had applied for a tutor in Organic Chemistry, Kyra was happy to help. The pair met up weekly to study before Kyra made her move, and then they weren't studying the whole time they were together. It took another two-three years for Kyra to earn her doctorate, but as she was finishing hers, Ithica was beginning her own Doctorate program. One day, both women were approached by an exiled Jedi who offered to teach them both in the Force, which only spurred their research and love for science as they tried to see what the Force was capable of.

While waiting for Ithica to finish up with school, Kyra began working for her Brother, who had started a major company while Kyra was earning her doctorate. She used her knowledge to help find more eco-friendly fuel and food. She and Anton made a sizable profit off of their work. Using the money she earned and combining it with Ithica's, the couple built themselves an apartment on Serenno with a fully-functioning laboratory that fitted both of the women's needs.

Life was good for the two of them, but Ithica had developed a nasty habit of forgoing good and sleep, opting to stay in the lab 24/7. Kyra had to literally drag her out of the lab every night just so that she could sleep. Kyra had been nagging Ithica to go on a camping trip and get away from the lab for a weekend for almost a year. Finally, the Physicist conceded and the pair went to the woods surrounding the city they lived in.

Funny enough, both women planned on using the getaway as the chance to Propose. After Exchanging rings, both women vowed to each other to be better in their relationship. Their happiness was short-lived though. Jedi who had heard of Ithica's research on how one could strengthen another's connection to the Force through science. What the girls returned to was a horror show, all of Ithica's work had been stolen and all her notes destroyed.

Kyra held Ithica while she cried, comforting her until she fell asleep. The next few months were spent cleaning and repairing the lab as Ithica finally caved into allowing Kyra to help with the research. They started over completely, using Kyra's knowledge of Biology to take a new angle on the project. They had gotten to the point that had once stumped Ithica, but with both of their minds working through the problem, they were able to fix it

But, the Jedi learned of their progress once again, and decided to raid their home for a second time. This time, both women were home. The Jedi forced Ithica to test their machine on herself. It worked, but not the way they had imagined. What came out of the explosion was not human, but it was Ithica, so when the woman that Kyra loved tore apart the bodies of the Jedi and almost killed her, it took every fiber in her being not to defend herself. But Kyra was right not to, and once Ithca realized what she was doing.

The Jedi knew where they lived, and would no doubt strike again. So the couple moved, packing their bags with clothes, first aid supplies, credits, and their weapons. Their first home was a small cottage somewhere in the Felucian outback. They lived well, Ithica would test her new powers most of the day, while Kyra went into town to buy food and withdraw more credits from her bank account.

But Ithica soon fell ill, her strength disappeared, and she couldn't move for days. In a last-ditch effort, she allowed Ithica to feed off of her. The action almost completely drained Kyra of any strength, but it caused Ithica to get better. So, on a hunch, Kyra went out hunting, but brought her prey back alive and had Ithica feed off the animal's Force signature.

They found that this process worked and stuck with it for almost a year. After a while, they both agreed that it was wrong to keep taking innocent lives and upsetting the balance of the forest. So, they moved to a world where crime was rampant and started to use the low-lives as food for Ithica.

Soon, Ithica had her own following of bounty hunters, and their roles had been reversed. Now it was Ithica dragging Kyra away from the lab as she experimented with Plants, Animals, and the Force. But soon, the following of Hunters turned against them, and the pair had to leave. But luckily there was a call.

To be updated as RP's begin to file through.

Personality
Danielle-LaSota-post-separator.png
Kyra was a people person, when she first met her wife. She was the one who drug Ithica out of the lab and into parties and other outings. She was the one who had to pull Ithica away from the machines and research. She was the one who went outside and actually interacted with humanity. Now, that is not her. Now, she is the one who must be dragged from the lab.

After everything that had happened to her and Ithica, she came to despise humanity. She would close herself off from the world and do experiments on Flora and Fauna. She became to recluse of the relationship. Ithica was the only shred of humanity that Kyra hadn't come to despise. Ithica is the reason that she is trying to be better, but their mutual hate of Humanity and of the Jedi fueled their decision to join the Exiles and their quest to destroy the Jedi.

Hey there! Pretty good profile so far. You'll just need to add in a personality section though for it to be approved. Only other comment I have is that the Jedi forcing her to test the machine on herself is...rather harsh as the Jedi go, but I guess it's still possible depending on which Jedi sect when to go deal with the two of them.

Ithica is @EmilyHuene's character, so you'll have to discuss with her on that backstory.

I will begin workin on the Personality section ASAP

My original thought was for it to be Exiles who did it. But that changed to the Jedi Order instead. I figured it would be some of the Shadow Jedi? The more darker ones. The warriors and fighters who were more focused on fighting the war. Who didn't care what rules got broken.

Yep, that's definitely plausible. Thanks for adding the personality! Approved!
