"You know, kid, you learn how to handle a blaster and hire someone you trust to watch this place, you can come on jobs with me." The older Mandalorian would say. "No more collecting sand, more walking on it. And, I found through the grapevine, that there's a competition brewing. Big payout. Get you off-world for a bit, maybe finance some expansion, who knows?" He'd say with a shrug as he drained his drink.

"It's ISC now, I think. Gorgeous world. Lots of money. Free of Republic taxes." He'd say as he waved his empty glass to one of his guards and they would go get him a refill. "Anything you need from me, before I let ya return to your duties?"

[Thai Ves]

Learn to handle a blaster? She could do that. Shoot accurately? As Laren could tell him... it wasn't too good. But free of Republic taxes? What a dream.

"That's-" Thai wanted to agree, but the thought was a little scary. "Maybe one day." Thai certainly enjoyed traveling to Chandrila with Laren, but to potentially get into combat? The idea was a bit much for her at the moment. "I think I'm good. As always, just lemme know when you're coming back to say hi." Thai would give him a smile, then leave to head back to the bar. She placed the briefcase underneath.

"Need any refills?" She would ask Aden.

There was an amused look on his face and he would hold up a hand to her. "Baby steps, kid. Besides, the being able to use it is for -if- things go off. I'm getting too old to be searching the thrills anymore. Competition name is Galaxies Most Eligible. Seen some guys out on the streets taking sign ups for the raffle."

He would return the smile. "Nah, think I'll just pop in. Keep ya on your feet. Oh.. one more thing." he removed a small collapsible device. "Stun baton. For when I am not around, or Laren. Can't be too careful, yeah?" Then he'd wave as she stepped off, returning to his plans for the job. Everything was coming together.

[Stranger]

Furtive had her own reasons for going to Abyssm. There was a transmission she picked up from there. A call for help. Stranger preferred they stayed dead, but Furtive knew better than to throw away a perfect opportunity to give Stranger a solid platoon of bygone-era warriors. Hopefully, those soldiers were still alive. Hopefully, Laren liked Furtive more than Stranger. What did the little droid see in the cannibal nobody who knew how to use the force to make his cons more believable?

Furtive saw the light in him that no one else could see. She saw a lonely little kid huddled around a dying a fire. All he needed was the right help. Maybe she could get the Mandalorians to give him back to the Jedi before he fell to far into the Whispers of Yor. Furtive couldn’t bare to see Germaine fall into the same fate Redrix did.

The little droid glanced at her old master for a long while before looking back up at Laren. She tentatively ran up his leg and perched on his shoulder.

“Can I trust you?” She whispered.

[Aden Archer]

When the good barkeeper asked if he needed a refill, his glass was empty. It sure is nice that the one Mandalorian has the next couple of rounds covered for him. "Yeah, that would be appreciated. Thank you" he said. With that, he would slide the glass over towards her and let her do her thing.

He's got to say again, this a nice establishment with friendly people in it, and if there is trouble it gets dealt with.

[Thai Ves]

Thai would pour the pilot another glass, though her eyes wandered around to the door in which Laren had slipped out of earlier. They remained their for only a moment before they jumped back to Aden just as she set his now full glass in front of him. "Sorry about all that," she would add in quickly after his drink was set down. "It's not all that often that we have problems here. Sometimes weirdos come in. Not much I can do about that other than make sure they leave without causing a ruckus." She would then pour herself a glass of water from the tap, returning to stand idly nearby.

"Would you mind telling me about this ship you hail from? The Daedalus?" The idea of a nomadic community living entirely within space was incredibly intriguing. It was not something she would ever want to live in; she liked her own feet planted firmly on ground.

"Trust me how? You better not be up to anything weird you droid."

Laren grabbed the droid and set back on the ground. Being so close to his head was not what he wanted, it was definitely weird and could lead to something bad. He knew that droids have some shock prods and or other sorts of weapons. It was a safety thing. For the droid..

"Look tell me what you're gonna say"

Laren drew his blaster on the droid.

"Or become scraps"

[Stranger]

This wouldn’t have been the first time someone pulled a gun on Furtive. She sighed and gazed back up at Vano.

“Kill me- or Germaine -and you’ll never find either set of armor you’re after.” She put an emphasis on the ‘either set’ part.

"Well, your security seems effective at least" he said and gave a light chuckle. Once his glass was poured, he'd have another sig at it. It really is a bad idea not to start anything when there are Mandos that are security, as they have saw with the strange man.

Anyways, when asked more about the The Daedalus, he would be happy to elaborate more. "Yeah, the Daedalus. Big ship, large, tightknit community that travels across the galaxy, visits other systems, and gets a lot of trade traffic from visitors. The Daedalus pretty much a trade station that moves. There was that one Hutt Ball game not too long ago, tons of people visited. Even the ISC President himself." Aden wasn't on the ship that day, but he heard it was busy on the ship that day. Huttball is very popular where the ship was at the time and people who were conducting business must have loved the sport

"Growing up on there. Even children have to learn crewmen skills to pull their own weight." Just like on an actual navy ship, everyone able-bodied has a job to do "My dads started teaching me to be a mechanic before I was a teenager." he would look up and remember. He would then look back at the good barkeeper lady. "But yes, the people that live there are nice, it's a nice safe place to conduct business, and the visitors are friendly as well for the most part" he said.
