The low bass thumping bounced off the walls of the noisy cantina, the Sith slowly walked through it his hand gently pressing against those in his way. Behind him was a small orange and black astromech droid floated in the air, making soft beeping noises. Over the top of the siths dark uniform, he wore a simple brown poncho, a simple disguise but an effective one none the less.

It had been half a decade the young Sith had set foot on his home world, the moon of Nal Hutta was filled with bright lights and an ambience incomparable to anywhere in the galaxy, a planet with great divisions filled with crime, slavery, and violence but all at once it was filled with entertainment and some of the best food and drink on this side of the territories. It had a façade of elegance, but once you pulled back the curtain it was entirely tacky.

This was one of those very tacky locations and the curtain was certainly pulled away, as Telo pressed towards the back of the Cantina where a large, overweight hutt sat. He certainly wasn’t thee hutt, but a hutt none the less who would dish out bounties. Telo was in need of funds and where better than bounty hunting? A quick easy handful of credits and gather some information on his homeworld and he’d be able to look for his parents.

The large Hutt licked his lips as Telo stepped forwards “Hi chuba da naga?” <What do you want?> asked the Hutt “The biggest bounty you have.” Said Telo in all seriousness, the Hutt cocked back his head and laughed a loud belly laugh “Jee canta uba doth wa kaae koushonbe che da” <I think you're a little small for that>.

Telo sighed and shook his head “I’m capable enough, what’s the biggest you’ve got?” The Hutt shook his head again “Bu cuaee lhonbe Jee gee yoieu ah dopa yae dotlibahve an Jee cha neu uba cay kaee” < The biggest I've got is a two man team and I don't see you with anyone> The droid next to Telo let out an excitable noise “Beeeep!” as though to say Telo wasn’t alone, the Sith turned and smiled at B-10 and shook his head in response “That tough huh?” Telo sighed for a moment and looked over a datapad infront of the hutt, even half the cut of this job was higher than any of the other jobs that we’re listed.

He’d need a moment to think, decide what was the best course of action.

Barrington always had a fondness for Nal Hutta. He spent most of his youth here. Luckily he had no real business here this time around, but he decided to pay his favourite Hutt a little visit. He parked his ship in one of the few spaceports the city had left and paid for the premium service. At least he would know that his ship would still be here when he came back. The smell of the swamp brought back a lot of memories. He pushed them aside and focused on where he was going.

He found the cantina and noticed a small figure enter ahead of him. Definitely not a Hutt. He moved forward through the street and into the cantina. “Bu cuaee lhonbe Jee gee yoieu ah dopa yae dotlibahve an Jee cha neu uba cay kaee” < The biggest I've got is a two man team and I don't see you with anyone > Barrington paused in the entryway, he heard the droid beep loudly. "Gusha che u, mee'm unko." < Lucky for you, I'm here. > I took one look at the boy before passing him off. "Got kickee bounties che je, old pateesa? < Got any bounties for me, old friend? > "Ha Ha Ha! Barrington!" The large Hutt raised his tiny arms as if he's celebrating my return. "Mee have lots of bounties che u, myo pateesa." < I have lots of bounties for you, my friend. > I glance over at the boy's datapad. I wrapped one around the boy's shoulder. "What'cha got there bud?"

Telo didn’t pay too much attention to the man who had approached the hutt, it certainly wasn’t a surprise to see people gathering around the large slug like beast looking for work. Though his attention was peaked by his comments ‘Lucky for you, I'm here.’ Perhaps this chiss could be of some help?

The short stocky man thew his arm over Telo in a very abrupt manner, taking him by surprise as he looked at the hand that was now over his shoulder his saw a glimmer of blue skin in a gap where his jacket and glove met. Very curious indeed, was it a disfiguration, was he not human? There was a variety races he could be, blue skin wasn’t a rare as one might think. Telo had his own secrets and had no intention of plunging into the strangers.

“It’s usually polite to introduce yourself, specially if you want to become ‘buds’ with someone.” He said as his lips turned up coyly “Your friend here said there is a job going but it takes two and droid and I probably aren’t up to it ourselves.” He slid the datapad over to the man so he could take a look.

It would read in both huttese and in basic.

Target: Luca Meya

Race: Devaronian

Bounty: ₹10,000

Report: Luca Meya is one of the biggest spice in hutt space and has accumulated a high amount of debt that he has refused to pay on multiple occasions and has began to step on territory that isn’t his. He’s become a nuisance and needs to be get rid of. He has a small factory on the eastern bloc of Nal Hutta where he is usually find, it is highly guarded.

Once he finished reading, the sith introduce himself “Telo Nass, if the hutt is right I likely can’t do this on my own…” He pondered if they man would be interested or perhaps he already had a crew, if so Telo would just have to pick another job.

“It’s usually polite to introduce yourself, specially if you want to become ‘buds’ with someone.” The lad paused before continuing. “Your friend here said there is a job going but it takes two and droid and I probably aren’t up to it ourselves. He passed the datapad over so Barrington could have a closer look.“Telo Nass, if the Hutt is right I likely can’t do this on my own…” The lad looked worried for a minute. Barrington finally remembered who Luca Meya was. "For gods sake Luca. Poor bastard keeps fucking himself up. He has habit of blaming others for his troubles yet he's the one who caused them. I'm not surprised that he's taking things from other territories though." I roll my eyes and look back at the large Hutt.

"Jee-jee will take this wompa" < We will take this one. > "Mee trust u tah deliver him tah je alive? < I trust you to deliver him to me alive? > "Of course." I bow slightly and turn to Telo. "Are we taking my ship or yours? It's just me I'm afraid, but I have a decent array of weapons." I gesture for the lad to follow but I pause before walking away. "Barrington, by the way. Oh and you can have the full amount, I don't need the credits." I head towards the exit of the cantina and open the door.

It seemed as though Telo had hit the jack pot, a well-equipped bounty hunter who knew the hutt and knew the bounty personally had fallen right in his lap. He nodded in response as he weighed up the option “We can take my ship.” As he gestured towards the exit of the cantina, as the hutt flung the bounty chip towards Telo who caught it out of the arm and placed it inside his pocket.

Telo was shocked that Barrington wasn’t interested in taking a cut of the bounty “Then why would you want to do this job?” he asked, Telo instantly grew suspicious who was this man? Why would he randomly walk up and volunteer to help him? Was this a trap? It certainly felt like one. Telo’s finger tips twitched ever so slightly, he was filled with dread. Was this man intending to kill him? But what for it didn’t make any sense. Telo’s mind was wracked with questions.

“We can take my ship.” Barrington was surprised for once, normally it's his ship they end up taking. "Barrington, by the way. Oh and you can have the full amount, I don't need the credits." The lad appeared to be stunned by the statement. “Then why would you want to do this job?” Barrington smiled slightly as he pondered his response. "Boredom mostly. I've been out of the field for a while. Took a break and visited a few planets. You could call it a vacation, I suppose. Besides..." I take out my own datapad and log on to the bank's network. "It's not like I need the credits anyway." I showed the lad my balance. ₹510,463,200 credits sat in the account, dwindling away. I bet the lad didn't expect to see those figures. The power of budgeting effectively saved Barrington's ass multiple times. He knows he shouldn't show a stranger his bank balance, but there's an odd feeling coming from the lad. One that makes Barrington trust him. "If you need any upgrades or new weapons, let me know." Barrington winks at the lad before heading out of the cantina.

We arrived at the spaceport within a few minutes. "Which one is yours? That one's mine." I point towards my trusty T-6 Shuttle. It's served me well and was worth the thousands of credits Barrington had paid for it. Plus it seems to hold it's value rather well on the aftermarket in Coruscant. The thought of returning to Coruscant peaked Barrington's interest. He barely touched the surface of that planet. Maybe after this mission he could go there again.

Telo was surprised when he saw the credits on the datapad, not that he hadn’t seen such wealth before Telo had being surrounded by vasts amount of wealth for most of his life. Though none of it was his to own, though one day the sith would give him the power he needed to grasp at the wealth and power he needed, what he wanted.

The faux human, Barrington was an interesting person indeed Nal Hutta was an ideal location for a holiday for sure, but most people indulged in the gambling not bounty hunting. Though an interesting none the less, Telo didn’t trust the man but what choice did he have?

Looking over the mans ship, Telo’s self preservation kicked in “Let’s take your ship, mines very basic plus you know your way around.” Telo was concerned with being shot in the back while piloting. Though perhaps Barrington was harmless, Telo certainly couldn’t feel through anything in the force that would suggest that he wished him any harm but he couldn’t quite shake the feeling that something was going to go wrong. He pointed at his own, at least to let them man know which one it was. A simple 85A, but it was sufficient for Telo’s purposes.

"Let’s take your ship, mines very basic plus you know your way around.” Of course. Barrington rolled his eyes and gestured for the lad to follow. He unlocked his ship and they both enter through a platform that descended from the bottom of the ship. "Feel free to make yourself at home." I sat down in the cockpit and flipped several switches. The T-6 roared to life. Clearly it was happy to be used again.

"I only know of Luca from the time we had a bit of a fling together. He's an absolute bastard if you get on his bad side, yet he's the complete opposite if you're on his good side. We left on good terms and we often saw each other... luckily for us, I know exactly where his spice mines are. His main mine is on the western side of the planet, but he has several dotted around eastern side of Nal Hutta. I'd rather keep him alive and away from the Hutt if possible. Hopefully the lad would co-operate with the scheme Barrington had in mind for Luca. He's always had a soft spot for the Devaronian. I pull out my spare datapad from one of the many storage units the T-6 had, and booted it up. I opened the messaging app and searched for Luca. Where are you? We need to talk. I hit send. I hand the datapad to the lad. "Let me know if he responds." The ship flew out of the spaceport and into the sky. I jabbed the co-ordinates of Luca's main spice mine into the navigational systems and followed the directions.

Telo relaxed slightly when Barrington easily changed to the idea of using his ship, perhaps he wasn’t intending on jumping him? Why would he even want to? Telo wasn’t wanted, he was barely known within the ranks of the sith.

Following him inside the cockpit, the young sith was rather impressed with the ship and Telo hoped one day to have one similar himself. Sitting down next to Barrington in the cockpit he listened with interest and nodded in response “I have no intention of killing him, nothing to gain.” Words not many other sith would say, they we’re often hungry for death, as though it’s what gave them power.

Wrapping his fingers around the datapad and laid it upon his lap, looking down at it every now and again to see if there was a reply. Nothing.

“If you need help with anything just tell me, I know my way around a ship nothing special but enough.” He chuckled softly as he began to relax around the man.
