Jahairal raised his brow at the modified helmets being passed around, not sure why they needed such when they could simply close their eyes, or perhaps use blindfolds. Regardless, he knew of that type of training, having been through it himself. It had saved his life on more then a few occasions. He looked to Kai as he instructed him in what to do, Jahairal igniting his two sabers as he looked at them, the blue and green hue as well as their length surprisingly him a bit.

"These are longer then I thought..."
He said as he looked to the sabers settings, adusting them so the blades were a bit shorter, a halfway between shoto and full saber length as he tightened and loosened his grip on the hilts. He preformed some of the basic maneuvers, both of lightsaber combat and of his own peoples two handed style, which did well to convey the basic principles of a style like Shii Cho. He frowned however as he did them, each twist of his wrist or twitch of his arm making his saber shift quickly. He was fast, but he didn't seem pleased as he looked to his jedi insturctor.

"I've not used a lightsaber often...they are so very light. Each swing I make is faster then I intend it to be...it's making me irritated Master...Kai." He said, not helping himself in saying the master part, and only managing to catch himself halfway through as he spoke.

Saerina smiled to herself when Kai brought out the vision-inhibiting helmets. She had not used one of these yet, though the last time she had practiced Soresu with her master, he had told her to close her eyes. But that was different; she could have opened them any time she wanted to. The slight Padawan took a moment to collect herself before beginning. The Force was a very important part of this form, so she made sure to clear her mind and concentrate first. Initially, she was a bit startled when she sensed the high emotions- the concentration, excitement, nervousness- from all the other students, so she had to block them out. Finally, she felt like she was ready and put the helmet on.

The remotes started with a slower sequence of blasts, similar to what she had done her first time. It was actually a bit easier for her to concentrate with the helmet on, because that seemed to isolate the Force more. Kind of like how blind people had an acute sense of hearing and touch. Letting the Force guide her movements, Saerina moved her blade precisely to where the blasts were aimed. She felt a little choppy at first, but soon she got into the rhythm of it. To her satisfaction, it was going much better than it had her first time doing Soresu exercises.

Giving a way to looking on to see how this form was done by the trainer of this class. As she looked on to some of the other students as well, trying to get her footing right first in the Soresu exercises, before she fell into the movement of the blade. It was very slowly as once again Kai came around to cheek on each one of them. Trying to do what she could to get the hang of the movement. Not wanting to do nothing more then to please the one in charge today of her lesson.

Only to find out that she wasn't up to where she should be with the movement as she listen and gain the knowledge that was needed. Finding herself with the blade once again in her hand as she went over the movement over and over again. Until it was time once again for the Master to speak.
