"That was alright." Choray said, not really impressed. But then again, this task was simple. Very simple.

Then the Dark Jedi Zabrak turned and gestured for his apprentice to follow. He walked towards a few almost dead trees and there he stopped. He smiled evil and said: "Although this test isn't too hard either, you might find yourself enjoying this. Destroy those trees, acolyte."

Choray stepped back and crossed his arms, and watched. Konvoy had to be creative and destroy the trees in any way he wanted to destroy them. Choray wondered with what kind of crazy ideas Konvoy would come.

A zephyr blew across the sky, a maiden's gentle kiss against the prickly needles along the pines. Konvoy looked up into the wind, watching the bioluminescent light of the moon. Pools of silvery grace shimmered in the air, sending shivers through the forest. Pebbles bounced like droplets of water caught up in a typhoon. Taking a breath of steadying oxygen -that ephemeral mixture of substances resulting in the very essence of life- filling his lungs with air. He let the peace flow into him, empowering him with the strength imbued by serenity. And then he crushed that feeble barrier, tearing down all longings for peace and letting his passion rule his body. Anger, hatred and fear were his hammers. The Force was the metal and his willpower the anvil. He would turn himself into a weapon and destroy the peace, leaving him with power.

He smiled, looking to the trees.

"Destroy them you say?" He queried. His eyes were alight with the power he clutched by the throat. Every pore in his body bled control; an aroma of decay followed his footsteps. He looked out towards the trees in question, bodies of wood with just a pique of life. They were alive, but they did not have emotions or thoughts. One might call wildlife beings that transcended humanity onto a whole different level of understanding, but Konvoy knew the truth. Or at least the truth that suited him. Humanity was at the top of the food chain and all that fell within such broad boundaries were above any and all below. A Rodian was better than a dog and had the right to beat it. A Wookiee was better than an animal so they earned the right to destroy them. Konvoy didn't care about his race or position. He was lost in the moment, caring not for the future and allowing his wants to siphon his anger. This lead him to hope for only one thing.

That the trees would feel pain.

A smile on his lips, energy pulsed at his fingertips. He uprooted a tree, using that invisible field of energy to hold it aloft. Within seconds he threw it into another of the saplings, bringing it out of the ground and into yet another. Like dominos the row of trees collided, falling neatly into a preordained pile in the center. "Let's watch them burn," Konvoy said. A storm focused in his mind, roiling like the waters of the open sea. He concentrated on it, turning it into something more than just another burst of energy. He turned it into lightning. Perhaps it wasn't a very strong arc of blue electricity, but it was enough. The beam hit the bottom trees and the dried twigs and leaves lit up in seconds. The wood was engulfed by greedy flames, consumed by anger and hatred. Desire.

Konvoy's lips twitched in half a smile.

Choray let out a short laugh and nodded. "That is how I'd like to see it done." He said with an evil grin on his face.

Then, he unclipped the two lightsabers from his belt. One of them he tossed over to Konvoy and said: "That's a training saber."

He waited for Konvoy to catch the weapon, either with telekinesis or just by grabbing it with his hand, and tilted his head a little. "You will find that lightsabers and the like, are very different from steel swords we've used in our first match. These training sabers will not really do much damage, but that's why they are called training sabers. If you would be using a real one, such as my lightsaber, you would probably be cutting of your own limbs instead of mine. Now, don't worry, I will not harm you. I will stop my strikes right before I'd hit you, so there's no need to panic. Besides, a crusader in one piece is better than a padawan in half, isn't it?"

He laughed sarcastic and shook his head.

"The lightsaber form I am going to teach you is Form VII, also called Juyo. It is commonly used among us Dark Jedi, and one of the most aggressive among the saber forms. First, I will teach you the moves. Watch me as I perform them, and you will mimic."

Choray took the opening stance of Juyo and explained it to Konvoy. Then he showed many moves, like stabs and cuts, and explained how they should be performed, and told his padawan about the details. When Konvoy would be able to 'sort of' use this form, they would do a sparring match.

Studiously, Konvoy watched his master's motions as he preformed the technique called 'Juyo'. For a few moments he stood there, visualizing himself preforming those same moves. Time ebbed by like a river, and he was the boulder between the currents, ignoring its pull. Igniting the training lightsaber, he tested its weight, uncomfortable with the fact that it was like swinging a baton. The only weight was in the hilt, making it exceedingly awkward for him to swing it. Concentrating on what he had seen his master do, Konvoy replicated it with clumsy strikes that belied his lack of proficiency. After a few swings he was able to make his motions more precise, cutting the air with shorter, less wasteful strikes. His slashes were thinner as he tucked in his elbows, using his own strength rather than the speed of the blade for his force. Finally he figured out that strength didn't truly matter with a lightsaber. The man who could deal damage but was unable to block would be the dead one. Finesse was by far the better path of those two forms.

Konvoy shook his head, going back into the drone of his practice.

The blade sliced the air again and again. Konvoy did not relent his mental onslaught, drilling his arms to accept the weightless blade. He did not act with military precision, but such perfection was not required. After all, he was just learning at the moment. He closed his eyes to the moment, letting his mind guide his body. Without conscious decisions his movements flowed even better. They were still a bit sloppy, but the miniscule training session had been enough for him to gain the on requirement for success: confidence. He was confident that he had the basics down. Confident that he could use the training saber to defend from his master's attacks. But most of all he was confident that he would soon become more powerful than he had ever thought possible for himself. "I am ready for whatever else you have planned."

He smiled tightly, just a thin compression of his lips.

"Really?" Choray asked with a grin on his face. "Show me."

Choray raised his own lightsaber and Force Speeded towards his student. It was so sudden that his apprentice might not have expected it. But then again, maybe Konvoy did expect it. It didn't matter though.

Choray swung his lightsaber towards Konvoy's head. It was a fast strike, and if Choray was not as precise as he was, he would not even be able to deactivate his lightsaber before it would chop of Konvoy's head.

The beam of Choray's saber flashed towards Konvoy's neck. Would Konvoy be able to block such a sudden and fast strike, or would Choray have to deactivate his weapon to avoid killing off his student?
