BIOGRAPHY

Lemas Ruzoc came into being on Oba Diah. He has no memory of his home as he was identified very young as one who would be suited to be trained as a Jedi. The only memories he has of those days come to him in dreams of the force, which he has never known to be real or just imagined. His parents as he knew them were the Master of the long since lost Jedi Temple on Chandrilla. The temple there served as a pristine outpost for many Jedi that would learn the ways of the force, as well as how to defend against the injustices of a dangerous galaxy.

He was taught to fight the darkness and bring the light, and it was a point of view he learned well. Yet it was the galaxy that would teach him to see things differently. Through turmoil and terror, he witnessed the galaxy undo itself time and again. Three resurgences of the Sith did he witness and played a small part in the battles against them. The temple of his training was lost in the decades of conflict, as well as the many masters and students he had been trained around.

It was in those years that Lemas found himself drifting from the path his master's had taught him. War only begot more war. The more the light raged against the darkness, the harder the darkness raged back. He nearly lost himself in those years, until he had turned from it all to the path of the seers.

To be a seer was no simple task, as they were the pinnacles of devotion in an already overzealous order. Still Lemas has not strayed from this path. His age has worn him down. Though perhaps having the potential to be a great fighter in his youth, he has long since forgone this path and has spent decades as something of a wanderer. He seeks places of enlightenment, helps those in need when he can, and attempts to guide Jedi towards a more centered and level approach.

Knighted in his youth, passing the trials in a long forgotten war, Lemas has never officially been granted the rank of master. He has actively avoided spending much time around temples or in contact with many Jedi. Often when he returns to a temple, there are none there who have heard of him, which is how he's preferred it. Stepping in and out of regular contact with the order has suited him, and likely kept him alive as long as it has.

Lemas knows he cannot save the galaxy. He has seen the Jedi and the Sith orders rise and fall three times. Now that the galaxy finds itself in new turmoil, with few to guide it, he has returned to a more active role as a guide, teacher, mentor, and advisor for those that need it.

Personality

Lemus Ruzoc has a rather muted personality. He suggests that optimism does not come naturally to him. He presumes that the path of the light is one that is best taught with a stoic hand. He is not cold and uncaring, rather that the compassion he shows is that of a grandfatherly that recognizes he may not get many more chances to teach. His attachments are few, and his home is non-existent. He has explored some of the galaxy, and is wise from his experiences and years. He is a student of galactic history and those around him, as much as they are of him. He is unambitious and his opinions left aside as he seeks to further the exploration of the truth.

Skills

In his youth Lemus was trained to utilize a lightsaber, which he could do with average proficiency. In his advanced years he has had little reason to use it. It is not beyond the truth to say that combat is not where he excels. It is in his thoughtful mind and oratory where he truly shines. Having taught the way of the light for years and with as many experiences as he has carried, he brings the wisdom of a fading generation to those that need in the modern day. His ability to channel the force is developed more in the way of a feeling rather than an outward expression. His senses are considerably above average, where his reflexes and agility do not match up to the greatest of any age. It is his ability to search his own feelings and those of others that are his strength, a power that is guided only by the light as far as he is concerned.
