Auryn saw Ezra's signal and he knew exactly what to do. As the Droid began to turn around, the Firrerreon violently sneezed directly in the droid's face with a sound partway between a shout and snarl, spraying spit and half-chewed gum all over the poor machine's face plating and photoreceptors. "What-!?" "Aw fuck, my bad dude-" "I assure you your instructors will hear about this!" Auryn looked horrified.

"Aw c'mon man, it was just an accident!" "Nonsense! I will be filing a report immediately." The droid marched back over to its console. "C'mooon maaaannn," Auryn whined at the droid, right before fucking off entirely with noiseless footsteps. "A Jedi Padawan should understand respect and politeness above all else, and-" it began a long string of lecturing while the Firrerreon snuck away. It would only be by the benefits of Sephi hearing that Ezra would notice Auryn creeping aboard the sliced ship.

"You have like, three minutes to get th'fuck outta here."

“Yeah yeah,” Ezra muttered as the Firrerreo boarded the ship, “You closed the ramp, right?” He barely asked as the ship suddenly jerked backwards and out of the bay. The droid was still in the middle of his rant and facing the wrong way when the ship lifted and backed out. The droid couldn’t entirely figure out what happened - mainly because it simply looked like Meatlord Joe was just leaving. The poor droid was left confused.

The part Sephi was surprisingly good at navigating the ship, though it had seen better days. Almost abruptly, the ship felt as if it was in freefall as he focused on lowering down into the atmosphere. It had to be a total vertical descent with this janky piece of work that didn’t have the runway to zoom.

Ezra felt rebellious and wonderful, but all of that went out the window as he began to realize how dense and thick the forestry was. He slowed down and adjusted rapidly, sweat lining his brow from anxiety. He was completely silent, pretending Auryn wasn’t there so he could focus.

It took almost an hour to painstakingly navigate down, and he had a few thuds and scrapes along the ship on the way. At long last, he slowly parked down in a patch of land in between trees. Ezra drew back his slick, sweaty palms. His entire body was drenched and he wiped his face off.

“This better be worth it..”

"Yup-," whatever Auryn was going to say next was cut off by the experience of a person used to piloting hot rods flying the interstellar equivalent of an aging freight truck. Still, the quarter Sephi was surprisingly good at handling the vegetable-scented flying brick that was Meatlord Joe's freighter. The Firrerreo mostly stared out the window, a vague sense of excitement growing as they approached the planet below.

Auryn picked himself off the floor from where he'd been deposited by the rough landing, brushed off his sweater, and stretched. "Why wouldn't it be?" he asked in an oblivious-sounding tone right before pulling the sweater off, revealing a moderately-worn graphic tank top with the image of a supermassive black hole on it, something from a band he liked.

Showing the first hints of real enthusiasm on his face so far, he strode right over to the exit and hit the button. Almost immediately the warm, humid jungle air washed into the ship with all the scents of flora and wood that came with it. Auryn took a deep breath. Hands casually on hips he flip-flopped down the ramp, stood in the clearing for a silent few seconds, and then turned to look back blankly at Ezra.

"Why're we here again?"
