The handshake was something she didn't really expect, but it wasn't something she'd reject. If anything it let her now she did something right. As she shook his hand she'd let her smile fade as she thought over his introduction.
"Bounty hunter? Very uh...Interesting. No need to worry about me being an enemy.." Or a friend, she thought silently. A bounty hunter had no needs for someone like her. Maybe that wouldn't be the case, and maybe they'd prove to be good company. She doubted it.
Jicelli just let herself slink back in her seat after the meeting. If anything she'd only half-listen to what the bounty hunter said as an interesting figure entered the bar. Well, interesting was one way to put it. There was no need to stare, especially when it was clear the person was probably like everyone else. That's when Herrith slid a drink over to her before heading to the stranger's table. Wonderful.
So she took the drink in hand, and without a second look downed most of the whiskey in a quick swoop. The effect was almost instant, and she had to force herself not to cough it all up. It burned, and it burned a lot. Though through her obvious pain she'd manage a small smile as she just sets the glass aside and clenches her hands.
Perhaps it would help. At least, better than just going back to how she was before. It prolonged her life at least.
