As the mission to free the inhabitants of the moon of iego began, Serie was already anxious. She had once helped a hutt cartel member enslave an entire village once, but that was back when she needed credits. Now? Her morals were just a bit different, although in the end she merely wished yo take care of herself at the end of the day, she was a bit harder on the issue of slavery nowadays.

Even as she thought it, she somewhat giggled to herself. Her morals changed everyday, at least, based on the situation she was in and how advantageous those set of morals would be. She didn't care one way or the other, as long as she was going to benefit from it all in the end.

She smiled at Evandus as the ship began to touch down. They would be stopping the slavers by what ever means necessary she hoped, mostly because she wanted the chance to try out all the new weapons she had. That she was looking forward to most of all.

Well, hopefully this one will go as smoothly as the rest? These slavers shouldn't pose much of a problem I wouldn't think. Bet you were done in ten minutes no less. I mean, how could lowly slavers stop the champion of Lothal?

Evandrus had to admit that this mission was going smoother than he had expected if he was honest with himself. Since arriving and realising that the Exiles could be cowed by his power the biggest challenge they had faced was the Patriarch and Matriarch of the 'Demons'... which had been a brawl to be sure but it was hardly anything that Evandrus could count as being a massive, almost insurmountable, challenge.

It was something to be dealt with and they'd dealt with it.

He hadn't put his helmet back on after the fight but he had kept the rest of his armour on however. Evandrus smiled back at Serie as the ship began to land. Chuckling a little bit, he raised an eyebrow and smirk,

"Why Miss Fond... I thought you said you liked lengthy... engagements?"

Winking, he picked up his helmet off the side as he moved to the top of the ramp, the ship now officially landing and preparing to let them off here. The Skyward Sword was a Corvette... and that alone had spooked the pirates something fierce. But Evandrus really didn't want them spooked.

He wanted them dead.

"Serie... will you do me a favour?" he asked as he secured his helmet, "When some of these low-life scum beg you for their lives? Well... I would consider it a personal favour..."

He tilted his helmeted head to one side.

"If you went ahead and butchered them anyway."

Serie smiled at him as he put his helmet on. She could definetly do with some stress relief, and she might as well get started with some low level scum like these slavers. No one was going to miss them, she could do whatever she wanted and no one would care. She liked this idea more than shed like to admit.

Will do! Wanna have some fun! If I get more kills than you owe me a favor, you win then I owe you. Sound fair?

She asked before pulling her lightsaber off her belt. She of course had her armor on, along with her usual weapons, and she was ready to slay some slavers at a moments notice. She smiled a but grinning strangely from ear to ear. She was going to enjoy herself today, she could already tell.

Let's have some fun!

Evandrus had to admit that he was itching to kill the slavers if he was honest.

Slavers were always people who Evandrus took issue with and that was simply because he had always hated them. He had never not hated slavery and now that he was getting the chance to kill more of them? Well that was just fun! With his lightsaber in his right hand, he rolled his eyes a little bit,

"I'll owe you a favour?" he hummed a little bit before deciding he was fine with that he supposed, "Alright... but I get the right to say no and you have to try and pick another favour."

Gathering the Force to his left hand, Evandrus began to shape it lightning into a ball just above his hand. Even as the ramp came down and they were amongst the their enemy, he continued to add lightning into the ball until it was almost at the stage where it would become uncontrollable. At the very last second, he propelled it forwards with the Force, slamming it into one of three Slavers hanging around in some Bulwark Armour.

The lightning ball impacted the man's heavily armour and began to conduct, doing it's best to cook him alive inside the metal suit he had encased himself in. The man fired off two shots instinctively but Evandrus was able to block them both with contemptuous ease, his lightsaber ready.

Serie smiled and rolled her eyes. He always was ruining her fun just at the last minute, but she figured she was hardly going to win the argument with him at the moment, so she decided she would simply concede his arrangement and agreed with a nod of her head before they finally touched down.

Evandus wasted no time making sure he made a grand enough entrance, spouting lightning at one man before redirecting some blaster fire from another. Looked like it was her turn now though, and she figured she'd have to try and be just as flashy.

She concentrated the force into her hand like a vortex before unleashing a force blast at one of the slavers who had emerged from cover of to hwr side. The man was swept away in the current of power and slammed into the stone wall hard enough his armor cracked in numerous areas. Her eyebrows rose slightly as she saw the man was quite clearly dead.

With that another slaver emerged as well and announced himself to her. Her expression of surprise did not change. Was he seriously announcing himself she thought to herself? He had to be an idiot, or crazy, she figured.

More than ready when he started shooting at her she redirected the shots back at him, the ones that actually came near her. For him supposedly being one of their better soldiers, she really wasn't impressed with them so far she had to admit.

Yeah yeah - he was a total buzz kill.

He'd been told the same thing before in the past and it had never bothered him then so it was hardly about to bother him now! Evandrus knew when to have a bit of a joke but he refused to give out favours blindly. He was too powerful a man in too powerful a position to be giving favours out without the freedom to say no.

Naturally he would have said no if it was too outlandish anyway but he liked to have it clarified first.

The first enemy to face them was dead - simple enough.

Evandrus lashed out with the Force while the last of the present slavers fired at Serie. He was rather distracted by the residence however so when he used the Force on the man's knees, he crushed one of them but the other was fine as Evandrus let the technique go as he focused instead on freeing some of the "angels" from their chains.

Frowning, Evandrus noticed two DV-22 Assault Speeders coming towards their position. He smirked a little bit behind his helmet,

"You take the one on the right? I'll take the one on the left?"

Serie smiled as the man's knee was shattered from Evandus attack. With a swift slash from her lightsaber his screams of pain were cut short. As the angels were freeing themselves thanks to Evandus help she noticed the two large airspeeders on their way towards her location.

She turned and was about to warn Evandus but it seemed he already noticed as well. Calling out she take the one on the right. She smiled and nodded at him.

Not a problem, they won't even know what hit them! Watch this..

She said rather excitedly as she began to levitate a large amount of rocks and debris from the surrounding area before sending them all like a volley of hail at the speeder on the right. She smirked as she expected to see it go down in flames a second later.

Instead, the phenomenal pilot behind the wheel managed to turn at the last second and dodge all but a few of the smaller rocks and pieces of wood and such, doing no real damage to the speeder other than a few dents. However, due to the extremely fast and drastic maneuvers he pulled, one of the soldiers lost his grip on the handrails and fell from the speeder.

Serie shook her head in annoyance, not exactly what she had planned, she kept her lightsaber up in her form three ready stance and awaited to see how Evandus would handle the one on the left.

Watching Serie launch her attack at the airspeeder coming in with reinforcements, he let her go first. It was both to keep their 'contest' going and also to make sure he could see what she was going to pull and if it was successful. She launched debris and it looked good...

Right up until the pilot proved himself a cut above the standard pirate fare.

"That pilot..." he commented even as one of the pirates fell from the airspeeder with a death scream, "Deserves a raise. Whatever they're paying him? It's not enough."

Taking a breath, Evandrus drew on the Force before reaching out with savagery and ferocity; he used the Force to squeeze the cockpit of the airspeeder. He squeezed the metal into a ball like it was made of paper, crushing the pilot and co-pilot within. Using his grip on the airspeeder, he yanked it down, bringing the vehicle down nose-first so that it crashed into the ground hard.

Releasing the speeder as the second one was coming in to land and deposit it's troops, Evandrus noted one pirate pulling himself from the wreckage of the speeder he had just crashed.

"Huh." he tilted his head to the side slightly, "That guy's one tough kriffer. Wonder if he's thinking about different career opportunities?"

Serie had a whole lot angry guys with blasters coming at her at the moment. Thankfully, she was one of the best when it came blast deflection. Her monomaniacal focus on defense and soresu made her amazingly adept at stopping and deflecting every bolt that came her way, moving sometimes with just the most minimal and efficient movement possible.

While they were so focused on shooting at her though, they wouldn't notice that she had begun to turn the turret on their gunship towards them. With a quick clench of her fist she used the force to pull the trigger of the repeater and began mowing down the slavers from behind with their own weapon. Completely blindsided by the attack, the seven remaining slavers fell dead.

He probably should. There doesn't seem to be much job security in his organization to be honest. I think he should plan an early retirement, don't you?

Well.

That was a very effective way of cutting down the remaining enemies just down to the one slaver who had managed to survive the crash of the air speeder that Evandrus had caused. Considering how the man seemed to be made of durasteel, Evandrus was actually interested in having the slaver interrogated.

See if the man could be moulded into Imperial material if given enough incentive.

The incentive of living was often a strong one.

Reaching out with the Force, he instructed the man to sleep, using all of his might in the Force to push through the man's mental barriers. It didn't take the man very long at all to collapse to the ground like a puppet with it's strings cut. With that done however? There was suddenly no more slavers.

He glanced at Serie,

"We'll call it a tie." he reasoned with a small shrug, "Now... I suppose it's time to free these creatures and see who passes for a leader around her."

He hummed as he began using the force to liberate the 'Angels',

"Think it's an archangel or what?"

Serie giggled a bit as the high judge tried to pass it off as a tie. Throughout the fight she had been paying attention to the tally and knew she had come out with just one more kill than he had. She lightly placed her hand on his shoulder as she came up next to him.

I think you might need to count again. I think yours truly has indeed won our little bet. And I already know what I'm gonna ask, but we'll save that for later. For now, let's find out what these angels have to say. I think archangel might be an appropriate term, at least, while were here we might as well label these things. Were finding something that someone else may have never even believed was real until now. That's our right as the first real observers and stuff I think.
