Its not necessary for the U.S. to continue offensive operations. We destroyed the anti-air defenses and grounded their air force with cruise missiles and bombing strikes. We did our part, there's no reason for the U.S. to stay involved in attack operations when other willing countries are available and much closer.

The U.S. is still playing a support role anyway.

Other countries do not have the same type of aircrafts as the U.S. Europe can only attack armoured vehicles. It doesn't have the equipment to strike against ground troops in Gaddafi's cities.

Of course, Ghadafi was killing civilians and we helped, but now our job is done. But it's people like SIN who push us into things where we have no business. Just because we're the most powerful country in the world doesn't make us the people to go to when there's a problem. So other countries look to us for help, then when we do, Americans and foreigners hate us for it. Its tiring and stupid. People need to learn to get along without America because we're being pushed to our limit.
