Deep in the unknown regions lay strange and far-off planets the likes of which most in the galaxy had never even heard of. Alien atmospheres, living and malicious oceans that devoured all life around them. There was even rumored to be one where the laws of reality bent to the whims of life on its surface. They weren't on one of those, but Lwhekk wasn't much better so far.

Alia and Soleil had been sent as advance scouts by the Empire to see if the planet or its native species were useful. Their combined skills and experience would, hypothetically, make them ideal for that sort of thing. The main problem so far was something halfway disabling their ship as it approached the planet's atmosphere. While the Sith expedition shuttle had good stealth tech, apparently the Lwhekk natives didn't give a damn about stealth tech.

Soleil snapped to alertness with a splitting headache, feeling his face off the shuttle's control surfaces. With a quiet, throaty groan he looked around, eyes narrowed. They'd half-crashed, half-landed in some swampy, jungle-looking area on the planet. 'Alia' he projected groggily in the hopes she'd make some noise indicating she was conscious in her seat. Quickly getting himself unbuckled, he forced himself to his feet to start grabbing things. He had a feeling they shouldn't stay with the ship. 'Gotta go.' The headache was making it really difficult to make sentences.

Alia mumbled something incoherent as she heard Sol's voice in her head, not really sure where she was, or why she felt so awful. She opened her eyes, immediately snapping them shut to keep out the blinding light. She tried raising a hand to rub her eyes, but found that she could not more her arm. She blinked and gingerly tilted her head to the side to take a look at her side. Her seatbelt, the very thing that had probably kept her alive though the crash, was locked in tight, so that that she couldn't even move her arm.

"Right." She shook her head as best as she could to try and clear her mind. "Gotta go. Gotta go." She managed to pull her right hand free, but was unable to bend far enough to unbuckle the seatbelt to free her other arm, and much of her torso, from the seatbelt's hold.

She panicked, and tried to brute force her way out of the problem, jerking and pushing against the seatbelt for a few moments before she realized her mistake and stopped. Pursing her lips shut tight at her own stupidity. She took a breath and her tail slipped out from under the seat, and as she glared at the buckle, pressed down on it to set her free.

"Way to go keeping your cool. Idiot." She muttered to herself, looking around as she got to her feet in the hopes that Sol hadn't seen her little performance. Seeing him gathering supplies, she scooped up the carry bag she had left slung over her seat, which was somehow lying unharmed on the floor, and started after him. That was when a loud crack let out behind her. She turned around to see smoke rising from the control panel, and as she watched a barely audible poof kicked off a series of sparks all over the console. And just like that flames suddenly came to life...everywhere.

"Fuck...RUN!!"

She started running, or as best as she could considering the state of the ship and the continued disorientation from the crash.
