Light Mercenary Armor​

The only actual armor parts of the outfit are refurbished from used armor recovered from the numerous battle sites around the galaxy by armies of scavengers. They are sold in bulk to companies who melt the metals down and reshape them, or they are sold by the plate in backdoor rooms on crime infested moons and frontier worlds. As such, the price varies, but generally the armor is cheap yet reliable, and highly customizable. The armor is meant to be practical but flexible.​

INTENT​

To create a generic set of basic armor for mercenary types who don't want to stand out because of their outfit. This suit is meant to be paired with Vindler Sight Readers for maximum effortless style.​

Type and Coverage

Light​

• Back: upper and lower black plates
• Torso: chest, abdomen, and shoulder plates
• Feet: armored boots for feet, shins and calves

Functions​

Function: Vindler Sight Readers

• Scout HUD - Contains a 4x magnifier, compass, and flashlight.

Function: Mag-Boots

• Magnetic boots contain electromagnets in the soles and allow for enhanced movement on ferrous surfaces in microgravity or steep gradients. This functionality must be turned on or off manually by a button or switch.

Function: Computer Spike

• Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.

Function: Thermal Undersuit

• Thermal undersuits wick away or reflect thermal energy for brief periods of time. They are not nearly as effective as a suit that firefighters would wear. Most commonly used to protect soldiers from flamethrower weapons or short bursts of extreme heat, and are only good for 1-2 posts of exposure depending on intensity. They are useless against blasters.

Function: Voice Scrambler

• For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone. (face-mask unit)

@C.X. Jenious vindler sight readers are not a function and cannot be used with armor. I'm pretty sure that was the agreed upon rule with the mods in the comments and also some of the notes of the writeup i'm afraid.
