They have been used in this timeline even though there is no cortosis yet. So I am assuming it is like a alchemized metal that is resistant but not impervious to lightsabers correct?

I don't think vibroweapons have been created yet, and even if they have, they're useless against lightsabers without cortosis.

Most of them I've seen have been crafted with a force user, who imbued them with the force thus making them more powerful than a regular sword (ie able to withstand a lightsaber, cut through things a regular sword couldn't etc.)

The only ones I can imagine are swords made via Force Alchemy, though I think it's unlikely that it'll be easy to come by with your regular joe. Infact, it should only really be force users who have lightsaber resistant weaponry. Cortosis is yet to be discovered, and Phrik is to rare. And I swear to god if I see someone with a blade made of Mandalorian Iron I'll swallow a bullet.

Mandalorian iron is only found on Mandalore.

Mandalore is in the outer rim so no worries

That's what I'm refering to.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone has it for some reason or another, and I'm going to blow a gasket. I can deal with the lightsabers being on for like a thousand posts depsite energy restrictions of the timeline, because honestly every kid dreams of having a lightsaber, and this is the one place that you can.

I understand everyone having super force powers to, especially after playing Kotor and Force Unleashed, since those Revan, The Exile, The Apprentice, and hell even Kyle Kattarn and the hero from Jedi Accademy were beasts.

But when it comes to the point that Mandalorian Iron starts popping up despite the impossibility of us discovering it's existance, I'll be incredibly aggitated.

But who cares, I'm just a newbie what do I know. XP

Rich people would be able to get ahold of light saber resistant weapons most likely too. Money can get you pretty much anything, especially in starwars.

Allright then so my assassin is able to have lightsaber resistant blades as he aquired them from a very wealthy group.

And there is the fault to the problem. I'm sure everone is going to have a wealthy relative or something of the sort. Hell, I might as well make my character sell them so I can obtain a profit.

Who would have the training to do such a thing as imbue a weapon with the force via Force Alchemy and then have the audacity to go around selling them?

Despite that, everyone will be able to obtain them, I'm sure. But at least no one has Cailst's Manda metal robes.
