Saana walked with Anara out of the training room where Vergial and several other Padawans were preparing to practice and spar with one another. "We have not gotten to speak much before. Are you new with the Jedi? How did you learn you could use the Force?" It was a curiousity of hers how each Jedi came to find themselves on the path that they were on. Her situation had been less than casual when Master Kai had literally ran into her on Tatooine while she was being chased. As she waited for Anara's response, she lead the way down the corridor to a room just a few doors down. The door swooshes open with the press of the door panel to reveal a room not so different than the one they had just been in or from the one that Master Kai had held his class in. The difference here was that it was empty of any other Jedi, Padawan or otherwise.

"Master Kai has been instructing me in a form called Soresu. It is a defensive form that uses minimal energy on the part of the wielder. Though the form does not tire the wielder as quickly as other forms, it still does have its drawbacks." Saana explained this after they both step inside, and the door closed behind them.

Following Saana out the training room she answered her questions:"We have not gotten to speak much before. Are you new with the Jedi? , "Well yes I am. I only joined yesterday" Saana continued with a curious look on her face," How did you learn you could use the Force?", "Well by accident actually. I blew three people through a window because they wouldn't stop bugging me"

They arrived at the new training room and entered. Saana continued once more,
"Master Kai has been instructing me in a form called Soresu. It is a defensive form that uses minimal energy on the part of the wielder. Though the form does not tire the wielder as quickly as other forms, it still does have its drawbacks.", Anara smiled and answered, " Well I'm willing to learn whatever you are willing to teach"

Saana nodded once. "Let us begin, then. Do you have a training lightsaber still? If not, they are over there." She would point out a small rack set on one wall. She would wait for Anara to retrieve her blade be it from her person or the rack along the wall before beginning.

Master Kai had given her the training blade she currently had, so she had kept it with her. Saana activates the blue blade once Anara is ready. "What is first important is your stance, especially your feet. If your stance is inefficient, it will leave you unbalanced and your opponent will be able to exploit that with as little as a push of a finger. Face me and place your feet as mine are, knees bent slightly and relax. Tension works against you in combat." Saana waited patiently for Anara to get herself situated. "With both hands you hold your hilt at waist level, blade pointed up on your dominant side, then slide your dominant foot back like so." She demonstrated slowly as she spoke so that everything would be clear. "This is an opening stance."

Remembering she gave the training lightsaber back to Master Kai, Anara retrieved a new one from a rack and ignited it. She mimicked Saana's stance, trying her best to seem at ease while still looking focused. "Like this?"

"Close." Saana responded as she disengaged her blade, putting it on her belt for the moment, and stepped over to Anara. "Think about how your body feels right now, your center of gravity, your balance." She had noted that though Anara was close, her feet were a little too close together and the angle was off. Saana exploited this by touching Anara's shoulder with one finger as though she were going to push her right off her feet, but then she stopped before Anara would really lose her footing. "Did you feel how easily you could have been pushed back?"

Saana waited for a response from Anara before she rested a hand on the other Togruta's shoulder and then using her own foot to lightly nudge Anara's feet into the right position, which did not take a lot. She took a step back now, but still in arms reach. "Do you feel the difference now?" She gave Anara a few seconds to reply before she again tried to push at Anara with her finger to her shoulder. "You see your center of gravity is... more centered?" Saana smiled at her.

After she assumed her stance Saana disengaged her lightsaber and corrected Anara's stance and in an effort to prove her point of how easily she could be knocked down, she pushed her finger against her shoulder and Anara needed to take a step back before she lost her footing. "Did you feel how easily you could have been pushed back?", she asked and Anara kept quiet as she assumed she was being rhetorical.
The Togruta across from her them put her hand on her shoulder and corrected her a bit more,
"Do you feel the difference now?"
She did. She smiled and nodded instead of answering. Saana tested her stance again and she needed not try to rebalance herself, "You see your center of gravity is... more centered?"
"You are right. Much better"

Saana smiled at Anara. "Good. It will take practice, but with time it will become natural." Instead of returning to where she had been standing before, facing Anara, she took up the same stance as Anara next to her. "Remaining relaxed also comes with time. If you are conciously focusing on relaxing, then you are not focused on the task at hand." For a moment, she paused letting Anara consider that. "Take in a deep breath, do it slowly. Let it fill you up as much as you can, hold a moment and then release it slowly. Your body has a natural way of being and moving, it will return to its own relaxed state."

Listening to Saana's request, Anara slowly took in a deep breath and then let it out.

Once Anara had a grasp, relatively, on her stance and the importance of remaining relaxed, and breathing, Saana began demonstrating to her a handful of moves to work through, one set for defense and one set for offense. It started out slowly withthe individual movements and then chaining them together. At first they started going through the chained together movements slowly and gradually sped up to a more normal speed. Saana paused finally. "Do you have any questions so far?"

OOC: I'm gonna use my main account
Anara continued to follow Saana's instructions accordingly and when she was asked whether she had any questions, she answered," Do I get to duel you once we are done?"

Dueling was not something that Saana had thought about herself, having not gotten a lot of experience with that yet herself. She then smiled a little at Anara. "Do you think you are ready to duel? We can, if you feel that you are ready, otherwise, I would suggest practicing what you have learned."

"I mean we can duel once I've learn't enough", she replied "and what a better way to apply what I've learn't by practicing on you"

Saana smiled once more. "Oh, of course. If and when that time comes. I will be leaving on a mission soon. You can practice what I have shown you until I return."

Saana shook her head slightly. "One day, perhaps. Thecouncil prefers that a Jedi has completed a certain amount of training before assigning them missions."

Saana gave her a sympathetic look. "I am sorry. I could not rightfully do that. We will be venturing into Empire held space."

OOC: She is talking about one of the Jedi missions that's already been filled and started. You can sign her up for missions on the mission board.
