Much of the weight of her frame is in developed muscle from years of training, especially when it comes to the use of her preferred style's acrobatic and high-speed aggressive nature. She is Caucasian and has blonde hair, but both are so pale that at times she's been mistaken for being an albino. Her hair is long and curls and she prefers to let it down to its full length, a few inches below her shoulders, though she often keeps it tucked back behind her shoulders or within her hood. For clothing she prefers tight leggins and undershirts to ride well beneath her cloak and armor, utilitarian boots, and dark colors. She'll also often be found in Jedi robes, or more casual clothing where appropriate or necessary. Personality
- Lilin could be seen as closed off and angry - but that's not totally true and certainly not intentional. A better way to describe her might be to say that she is extremely driven, to the point that she's committed herself so wholly to her training as a Jedi that she's sort of let other social skills and time for much else drift off to the side. She's often-timed focused as a conduit of energy towards her lessons and towards how she might help fight the Jedi's oldest enemy. She seems so passionate and invested in those things because that's how she always is about anything that pulls the whole of her attention: whether its training, combat, a lover, a friend, or hobby. She is almost a little awkward that when she expresses herself its never in half measures: if she's happy, she's jubilant. If she's sad, she's almost inconsolable. If she's angry, she's nearly frothing with rage. Its as if there is virtually no in-between with her passion and drive.
- Morally, she doesn't believe in a black-and-white state of being. All things that live have a measure of evil, or potential for it, in the core of their very existence. Lilin feels that nobody who actively seeks it out is beyond redemption for their actions, but they must be willing to work for it themselves. If they are willing to do that then Lilin will move mountains, slay armies, or do whatever else she must to see them given that chance. But if they spurn those chances or betray her trust when given, then Lilith is a wholly different sort of person. Form I, Shii-Cho
- The basis and starting point for all the styles that followed, all good Jedi apprentices likely have some grounding and study in Form I. Lilin is no different and has studied it for its use in focusing herself and refining her martial skills. She can use her strength and speed to make good use of the style's large, sweeping strikes and defend against or attack multiple opponents where her preferred form is weaker.
Form II, Makashi
- Lilin is not a fan of a fighting style that leaves one hand unused: what is the point when a fighter could use it to cast out with the Force or even simply carry another saber? However she has studied how it can work to help a fighter prevent their being disarmed and while she may not appreciate the dance-like qualities of the dueling style, she does appreciate keeping her sabers in hand.
Form III, Soresu
- Lilin is of the school that a style of fighting which has no offensive measure is a useless style. She's learned how to cast aside or even deflect back blaster bolts but other than that she's mostly discarded the style as something not suitable for fighting the oldest enemy of the Jedi.
Form IV, Ataru
- The acrobatic nature of the fourth form appeals to Lilin and she can see similarities between it and her take on her preferred form, Form VII. However beyond those similarities she has less of a practiced understanding of Ataru and more a generally academic one.
Form V, Shien / Djem So
- Like Soresu, Lilin has learned some of the points of Shien in deflecting a blaster bolt back at the shooter, and to some degree she has studying the precise and sharp defensive movements of Djem So that enable a duelist to segue into a counter-attack, but it is not a stye she has otherwise focused on learning.
Form VI, Niman
- Niman is Lilin's fallback form for when she has deemed it necessary to draw her second saber or in a situation where she needs more defensive posturing than can be afforded by Vaapad. She's well-studied in how to use the Force during a fight in order to funnel the enemy and control the field.
Form VII, Juyo / Vaapad
- This is Lilin's primary style and the one to which she has committed the most time and energy studying and learning - specifically the Vaapad variation that has the duelist channeling their enemy's emotions through them like a conduit back at the opponent. She could match any Sith with similar time training with the Brotherhood, or prove to be a formidable match to somebody less trained and prepared against a lightsaber or in close combat. She's taken well to the speed and brutal offensive nature of the style, while working on refining and controlling the emotional aspect of the form.
Attributes
- Lilin's primary benefits come from strength, dexterity, and her constitution. She keeps herself in good physical shape with a healthy diet and exercise, and benefits from a high pain threshold. That is coupled with practiced agility to attack with speed and potentially from unorthodox angles, with strength to make those blows punishing in the right circumstances. She would liken herself to a hurricane in that sense: that she can attack quickly, with great force, and she'd like to think that there isn't much that can stop her if things go her way. Lilin has learned her calling is a warrior's and she has focused on that in earnest.
- Lilin's primary shortcoming is in a greater sense of wisdom and higher intellect. While her sense of morality allows for more than just the black and white, at times it can be skewed so as to make her blind to her own hypocrisies depending on her actions. On top of that her life experiences are rather limited to the life of a Jedi Knight and so she has a difficult time feeling empathy with those outside that particular social caste. And while she isn't dumb, even to the point of speaking or understanding a handful of languages and being able to pilot a shuttle from point A to B, she'd have circles lapped around her by more dedicated academics at the universities and learning centers of the galaxy where more advanced sciences and academic fields elude her understanding.

- Lilin has dedicated much of her life to the ways of the Jedi and to her training, giving her a solid understanding of the fundamentals of using the Force. While the light side primarily draws on stillness and calm, Lilin has had to practice letting in the emotions of rage or fear that a Sith opponent might use, to channel them through her, and focus them back against her opponent in the midst of a fight. She has put a particular focus on endurance to withstand the taxing nature of excessive usage of the Force to the point where her's could be considered above average for a normal Knight of her relative experience. in addition she's also capable of of telepathy out to a respectable range, even without direct visual contact.
Energy Manipulation
- Her understandings of more advanced techniques are rather academic: that being that while she understands through reading and studies how they might be performed, she herself lacks the power and talent to perform them. With that being said she has practiced to make use of Force-flash to temporarily blind opponents or disable a security holocam.
Telekinesis
- Lilin has studied in the most recognizable fundamentals of Telekinesis: the jump, speed, and manipulation of objects. She can jump several meters above or further than average through use of the Force, is capable of dashing or running at speeds beyond that of a normal human in battle, and can manipulate her sabers or small weapons such as a blaster to throw them or recover them if they were knocked away from her. She is also capable of producing a simple raw-energy push or pull of the Force with enough energy to knock a small group of people off their feet or even lift a humanoid into the air. She is practicing to lift ever larger objects and to manage much finer manipulation.
Healing
- While she is no master healer, Lilin has practiced enough in the healing arts that she can quickly mend more minor wounds and grazes or stabilize more severe cases for long enough that they might receive more intensive medical care such as full bacta immersion. She also benefits from more passive benefits of the light side's healing nature - she'll likely live several years longer than a non-sensitive human woman if she is allowed to go of more natural causes, she is more resilient to sickness and poison than the same, and generally has an above-average physical constitution.

Ward of the State
Lilin was far too young to remember anything of her birth parents when she and her younger brother were left at a small orphanage on their homeworld of Corellia. Perhaps her parents had died, or maybe it had simply been because they couldn't afford two children and didn't want to pick keeping one or the other. Sometimes it could honestly be as simple as that.
Her early years spent at the orphanage were uneventful - considering she was only a toddler who had started to learn how to walk less than a year before she arrived. She received schooling on par with that of the average Corellian public school, performed moderately well academically, and over those early years she picked up a few skills not taught in the average classroom.
The man in charge of the whole orphanage was a Besalisk who had a rather broken understanding of Basic, which meant that many of the children to include Lilin picked up and learned enough Besalisk to be passable in conversation or at least to get a message across. Along with that the Besalisk man was assisted by a pair of droids at times and insisted that they were common enough that everybody should be able to understand droidspeak on some level.
Add on that some of her friends at the orphanage were young Twi'lek children and Lilin and her brother grew up in a diverse little world. But it was just the starting point for what came next, when at only six years old she was throwing over a tantrum over some minor thing she still can't remember, and pushed out with the Force hard enough that her brother was knocked off his feet. The Order was contacted in short order.
Her sensitivity and connection to the Force was obvious enough and she was taken to the temple on Tython. For a child pulled from what she'd known of as a home at such a young age, Lilin was able to adapt surprisingly well to the change, and had little trouble fitting into the simpler parts of the Jedi Order lifestyle and training. She made few friends at the temple and wasn't the most sociable creature as she preferred sending messages to her brother rather than socializing with strangers, but she took to lessons and training with energy and dedication.
As teenage years approached she graduated from the position of Hopeful into becoming a Padawan who could continue to train and improve herself under a Knight of the Order. It was at this point when she met Jedi Knight Val Sartori - a man known as a sort of "firebrand" by his peers. He was energetic, passionate, and driven to pursue his own interpretation of the Order's ideals and codes. He took her under his wing and didn't give her much chance to look back before he threw her feet-first into the world of a Padawan following her master across the galaxy. It would be enlightening, exciting, and certainly dangerous.
The situations they found themselves in were varied and unique. At times she followed him as they talked rivaling families down from what might have become a nasty blood feud, while at others they cut into the rank and file of some gang that was stealing medicine and rations from the more destitute citizens of Republic worlds. They chased after smugglers, pirates, bandits, and all sorts of criminals. At times they were acting as diplomats but more often than not they were acting as warriors of the Order. It was fulfilling and adventurous and Lilin admired her master greatly.
However the life they led was one that had them making enemies. She was twenty years old and sitting in the passenger seat of a speeder with Val, staking out the site of a suspected spice trade on Kuat when a second speeder had pulled up behind them. Val had sensed something was wrong but not quickly enough to prepare for the four blaster-toting Rodians who stepped out to riddle their speeder with fire. As they scrambled out to fight them, Val and Lilin both were wounded: she took several shots to the back that had punched through her seat and a grazing neck-wound. Once sabers were drawn the battle turned sharply in their favor long enough that they were able to cut down the four thugs, but in that short span of time Val had suffered critical injuries.
She stabilized him as well as she was able until authorities arrived and began to transport him to a proper medical facility, but he was gone before they even arrived to submerge him in bacta. Lilin was treated for her wounds and returned to the closest Jedi outpost with her master's body to tell them of what had happened. With that taken care of the next few years were put back into training, recovery, and finishing out her training before becoming a newly titled Knight.
