Ignis had rightfully been given two tasks to aid in the destabilization of Bakura. He kept the Ember Shard in a loose orbit around the planet Kur and prepared the ship for the coming task. That task being another ambush on a freighter. Another chance to prove that he deserved far grander appointments in the future as he felt that he was essentially still seen as little more than a foot soldier. The ambitious young marauder had plans to change that in the future. For now he'd play his part and earn the trust of those he needed to.

The ship was due to arrive at any moment and Ignis felt the Shard was ready for the intercept. This mission was to simply damage the incoming ship, send them running to safety with a story to tell as it were. A job easily done unless some unforeseen mishap should happen. Ignis would once again be joined by Kor'ez the acolyte. The marauder had left it up to the Twi if they wanted to join Ignis on the Ember Shard or bring another ship. Either way Ignis would que his commlink and contact the acolyte.

"The cargo ship should arriving any moment. Make any preparations you need. This should be over quickly, but be ready for the unexpected." Ignis felt something was off, though he couldn't be sure if it was his naturally paranoid nature or something more.

Kor’ez was sitting in meditation as the vessel cut through space. After the completion of their earlier assignment a second set of orders had come in. The threatening of Bakura’s supply routes was a task to set in motion a larger plan to cause incentive for the creation of a Self-Defence Force for the planet. The exact desire behind these final outcomes was unknown to Kor’ez but he could only assume the Order was trying to secure influence or control over the world.

The Twi’lek had sent a message to his Master to secure her permission to continue his assignment. Luckily she had seemed happy enough to allow her student the freedom to continue helping out with the assignment.

He meditating Acolyte frowned slightly as he plumbed the depths of the Force for advice on their upcoming mission. A vision, a feeling, a sensation, an instinctual drive on what to do next. Anything. Something dark and turbulent lay beneath the surface, beyond his ability to reach, and he couldn’t recognise the reason. It could simply be the upcoming violence that he’d be involved with. Or something worse.

In his assigned quarters upon Ignis’ vessel the Sith heard his comm beep and acknowledged it. “Very well. I will join you upon the bridge.”

Sighing, he picked up his lightsabers and clipped them onto his belt. He needed more experience before he could really understand the uneasy feelings he got.

The Sith soon left his room and strode towards the front of the Elder Shard.

Just as they had done previously Igins would be flying while Kor'ez took the medium laser turrets of the Ember Shard. He felt the acolyte step into the cockpit and simply turned and offered a nod of recognition. The pair were already acquainted so little needed to be said. Igins would once again think that he appreciated the demeanor of the acolyte. It was not unlike Ignis' own way of carrying himself, a dignified Sith.

He had time to think as they sat and waited for the ship to arrive and the uneasy feeling from before grew stronger. Ignis let the force flow through him at that moment and expanded his own feelings outward to see if he could discern the cause. He closed his eyes under his helmet and breathed easily as his awareness expanded out beyond his ship. If Kor'ez felt this he didn't care, Ignis refused to be caught by surprise. Though he couldn't confirm the source the force spoke of action against him and their mission. A plan of some kind. He went to delve deeper but his eyes snapped open as an alert pinged on his console. The tracker aboard the target was in the system. With some key strokes Ignis brought up an image of the system and the ships location. It was headed toward the planet. Ignis took the controls and powered up the ship to full and headed to intercept. "It's time, remember just need to scar the ship and leave them with a story to tell," he reminded the acolyte, though he trusted Kor'ez to control himself.

It only took a moment for the ship come into view. The uneasy feeling only worsened as he got closer and he remembered the brief glimpses he got, a plan or action against them. Suddenly behind the ship 3 Pinook Starhoppers would drop out of hyperspace and angle for an attack on the Ember Shard. A message would come through on an open channel, "Unknown vessel stand down or we will open fire! Repeat stand down!" "Well I would say that counts as unexpected. Let's see if they can follow through on a threat." Ignis would break off and angle to come around the bow of the freighter to put it between the Ember Shard and the fighters. He to slow down the freighter, and if he could stick close enough to it dissuade the fighters from firing.
