[fancybox2] As the Citrus Raillery reverted to realspace Nujina took a long sip from her cup of Caf, watching as the blue and green world appeared in the vast distance ahead of them. This was her fourth cup this morning, lately she hadn't been able to sleep too well and she couldn't really figure out why that was the case. Though she had ruled it down to a few different things and all of them weren't exactly things she could or wanted to deal with at the moment, one of the things that prevented her from sleeping too well was without a doubt the large amount of caf she drank each day and the other obvious reason was probably still asleep. Looking out at the world ahead of them she smiled and got up out of her seat, taking a final sip from her cup, realizing it was empty as she raised it to her lips.

With that she grabbed the blanket she had had wrapped around her shoulders and headed into the living quarters and placed her cup on a table. She looked at the Caf machine and bit her lower lip, eh, she could grab another cup later, for now, there was someone she had to wake up before she could even consider getting another cup. Moving through the ship she headed towards their shared quarters, however as she reached the door she stopped for a moment and thought for a few seconds before turning back and heading for the bathroom.

Looking herself in the mirror she turned on the faucet and let the water run for a couple of seconds, letting it cool down quite a bit before she put her hands in under the stream and let her hands get cooled down. Humming a bit to herself she stood there, swaying a bit, moving her hips as if she were dancing with herself for a few seconds and when she could barely hold her hands under the stream she pulled them back and dried them off with a towel. Turning her attention to the shower she debated cooling down her feet was well but decided against it and headed back towards her shared quarters.

As the doors slid open she hurried over to join the dark haired man in bed, she crawled underneath the covers and wrapped her arms around him, placing her cooled hands flat against his back as she hugged him tightly. Holding herself against him she couldn't help but grin as the sudden contact would hopefully be enough to wake him up, if the cold hands didn't do the trick. "Wakey wakey." she cooed as her hands began to almost siphon his warmth just to warm up once more. "We've arrived at Lothal, dear, so, time to get out of bed."

THEME
An expanse of stars stretched out before the man. Planets the size of toy balls passed by like stationary speeders on the side of an infinite highway. Flickering stars coming and going. Nebula drifting out in the darkness of the void. He slowed himself, hovering in the nothingness to view a supernova then rewinding time to watch its birth and then watch it rapidly explode once again. He Dedric turned away and headed to another place and time.

There was no ship around him, nothing to protect him from the vacuum. But he was no phased by the emptiness. A content expression and feeling deep inside him. He hurtled through space, briefly passing through fields of ice and rock that surrounded solar systems. As he did so he suddenly woke from his dream. His hand gripped the blaster on his bedside table out of habit. His had already been hanging off the edge so he had not pulled away from Nujina to reach for it. He let go of the weapon before even raising it from the furnishing. He groaned into the pillow like a teenager being told he had to do house chores on the weekend. "Can't we just stay in bed all day?"

Sighing he rolled over in the bed to face his lover. He hated being woken up but at least he had gotten a few good hours of sleep. Anything more would have been luxurious by his standards. The Jazaq Neg could smell the faint odor of coffee on the woman. "Did you at least bring me a wake up cup?"

Knowing his crew they were all either still asleep or locked away in their own corners of the ship. Grosho tinkering with ship maintenance or preparing food for the days ahead. He was probably excited to get off the ship and resupply some food stuffs. Even though Nujina had just told the Ossein where they were he had to make an effort to remember the name of the planet, Lothal. 88 was in the same place she probably had been the past week, in her room playing video games. She only ever left to either use the bathroom, get food, or if Dedric ordered her to do something. Then there was Raina, probably cleaning her weapons in her own room or beating up one of her work out machines somewhere on the ship.

[fancybox2] As her victim reached out for the blaster she didn't even feel an ounce of worry, last time she had been woken up by someone other than Dedric, she had kicked them in the face, though it had been a one-time occurrence as she had learned to resist the urge to kick or hurt whoever had woken her up. With him eventually rolling over to face her she placed her lips against his and teased him with the faintest taste of Caf which lingered upon her lips, smirking as he asked if she had brought him a wake up cup. "I did make one, yes, but, that was thirty minutes ago and it's now empty." she whispered and placed her forehead against his. She felt somewhat disappointed that she hadn't gotten the reaction she had sought out of it but who was she to complain?

Her hands trailed away from his back and over to his chest, pressing him down onto his back she climbed up onto him, leaning down to place a kiss against his lips. Pressing her hands down against his chest she pushed him down into the mattress, moving a hand to pat his cheek. "Get up, sleepy head, we're here because of your obsession with books." she said with a chuckle, giving his cheek a light slap before jumping out of the bed and dragging the covers with her, though she wasn't so cruel that she'd take them out of the bedroom, instead she'd just leave it pooled just in front of the door before stepping out and sliding the door shut.

As the door slid shut behind her she sang to herself in Twi'leki, walking down the hall towards the living area, walking up to a cupboard and fetching another cup, this time one that wasn't meant for her from the cabinet and placed it beneath the brewer and tapped a few buttons and the buzzing of the machine kicked in. Walking over to a pad connected to a few speakers she had brought over from her ship, Taillights, which now was docked in a hangar bay of one of the Ossein Flagships, scrolling through the list of music tracks she had stored on it she scrolled until she found a track called "I want you back." from a group she had been quite fond of since hearing of them on Coruscant one time, cranking up the volume she danced over to the Caf machine and moved the cup meant for her lover out of the way and placed her cup there, with closed eyes she tapped her preferred settings in and spun around as she moved over into the center of room.

Years of listening to the song had the lyrics imprinted in her mind so while she danced around she sang for herself, moving over to the Caf machine once more and this time took her cup from machine and a long careful sip from the brew as the music continued to play while she danced and sang to herself, dressed in an old tank-top and boxer shorts, not caring if either of one of the other crew members came into the living area before Dedric, she considered them part of her extended family after all, or something along those lines.

The smell of coffee on Nujina made him only want a mug of caffeinated goodness that much more. He made a playful groan at the lost prospect of their being any cafe ready and waiting for him. He was too lazy to resist the orange skinned twi'lek's manuever though he would quip back. "Then you better tell that gorgeous orange creature on top of me to move"

After the woman moved he would half roll out of the bed. He had forgotten he had gone to bed naked last night but like always his pants were nearby. Bending down he hesitated on put them on. He needed to find a clean pair of underwear first. He heard his lover's voice reverberate down the ship halls. The other crew would probably hear it at this point. It was perhaps the more pleasant ways to wake up on the ship.

Entering the bathroom he checked his face. A bit of stubble, a slight tired look in his other wise decent appearance. Taking a clean set of clothes, save for his pants, he got ready. It only took a minute or two but he could hear the music had changed from the pure vocals of Nujina to the melody of the song she always had on repeat. "That woman needs more variety" He muttered with a smirk towards his own reflection. He smoothed out his bed head and headed towards the common room.

As he approached her with most of his gear ready for the day ahead. Dedric smiled, watching the Nujina move to the beat. He went to the machine and brew himself some cafe. Turning around he leaned against the counter and watched the twi'lek move to the eb and flow of her song. The man could not help but smile at her.

[fancybox2] The Twi'lek continued to sing along and dance for herself until the song was starting to wane down, she debated going over and hitting repeat to be a nuisance but, opted against it. Instead she'd just turn down the volume a bit instead as the playlist began to play on, turning around she caught side of the freshly washed and now dressed man standing there, watching her, she grinned, shot him a wink and wiggled her eyebrows as she walked up to him. With her cup in hand she took a sip before placing it on the counter he was leaning against, leaning against him as she looked up into his eyes with a smirk. Pushing herself up on her toes she planted a kiss against his lips, held it for a few seconds before falling back onto her heels and taking a few steps back, grabbing her cup on the way back. "Good, you're dressed." She said, contrary to her who still stood there in her old shirt and boxers.

Taking a sip from her Caf she walked over to the datapad which she turned off, placing them in a much quieter room than earlier as she placed her cup beside it. "I should drink less caf." she said and looked at the half-full cup, turning her attention over her shoulder towards Dedric as she spun around, fighting the urge to pick the cup back up but she managed, leaving the cup behind her as she strolled up to him. "So, are you excited? Getting another one of those old books you're so interested in?" she asked and put her arms around his waist, looking up at him with a raised brow. "I still don't get why you're so interested in them, I mean, isn't it better to just get whatever story you're interested in downloaded to a data pad?" she asked and tilted her head slightly to the side.

Looking up at him she reached up with her right hand, moving her hand through his hair she heard the tell tale signs of a door sliding open and shut as a pair of footsteps began to make their way down the hall towards them. Thinking that she'd take a guess as to who it was without looking, Nujina spoke up as the footsteps entered the room. "Good morning, Elli, slept anything at all?" She asked and looked over her shoulder, drawing her attention away from Dedric for a moment as she moved her hands down to his waist and squeezed him tightly.

To her surprise, she hadn't been wrong, though whether Elli had slept at all or was in on her second or third day awake, Nujina couldn't tell.

He smiled and took the kiss with appreciation. "Well I can't be too revealing. What would the neighbors think." He waved his mug gently in a general direction. "I have some decency after all." He finished by blowing into the mug. It was still a bit hot to drink quickly. His blue eyes looked away from Nujina and focused on the dark ripples in the liquid.

Nujina was right, he probably could do with a little less coffee. But for him, coffee filled in with what he would otherwise fill with alcohol. So a little bit of jitters, some minor sleep deprivation and other side affects were probably better than crippling alcoholism. "You don't approve of my hobby." He said with a slight teasing sound. Not a lot of people were into traditional media for literature. It was inferior in terms of space but for some reason Dedric really enjoyed the novelty of it. The captain did not know why, something about the feeling of the paper between his fingers, the tangible knowledge and stories satisfied a part of his curiosity like nothing else. Then again his old quarters back on the Ossein Flagship were pretty much doing nothing but storing the books he could not keep on his ship the whole time. Still, a few dozen remained on board at a time.

Before Nujina responded she greeted Elli as she came into the common area. Just as Dedric suspected she was wearing the same eighty eight shirt she always did. At least she had shoes and socks on, sometimes she just walked around barefoot. Her short shorts matched her black hair which only under direct light did it look slightly purple. But the bags under her eyes told Dedric that, like always, she was staring at a screen for most of her time awake. She only grunted, as could be expected of a teenager like her. The adolescent female just made an equally stoic and groggy bee-line for the coffee maker. Resting her forehead against the cupboard above. If Dedric had not known better he would have said she had a hangover but the man knew that she did not drink alcohol. Dedric pushed off the counter to give the youth her space. "I'll be waiting her when your done changing." He said towards the twi'lek, encouraging her to go change.

[fancybox2] As the young human walked up towards the Caf Machine, Nujina's attention turned towrads her, seeing how she looked more asleep than awake she gavee her a single nod. "Right, probably no sleep then." She said and turned her attention once more back towards Dedric as he pushed himself, and thus her too, off of the counter he had been leaning against. Pouting a bit as he urged her to go and get changed, tough she pushed herself up onto her toes and placed a quick kiss against his lips before pushing against him, mostly pushing herself away from him as she then turned around and began to walk back down the hallway she had been moving down earlier, once more she hummed to herself as she disappeared down the hall.

As the bedroom door slid open to reveal the comfortable bed she thought about laying down for a moment, but let the thought slip away just like she had slipped out of Dedric's embrace. Looking around she found her Outrider pants and put them on. All in all, she spent about fifteen minutes getting ready to go down to Lothal's surface and find the book she had managed to track down through the use of old contacts she had made during her time as an independent courier. Returning to the common room she readjusted her belt a bit, shifting it from side to side before settling it at a place that was roughly in the middle, she patted the holsters to make sure that the blasters were still there and safely tucked away for now. She didn't know much about Lothal, other than it being an Imperial world, considered basically a farm on a planetary scale, but she had no idea how the criminal situation was around Lothal or how large of a pirate population it had, so, it didn't hurt to be prepared.

Stepping up to Dedric again she stopped beside him and shot him a smile. "Alright, whenever you're ready, dear, we'll go down to the surface and find whoever it is that has your book and then we'll head back here." she said, laying out the basic outline of a plan that they didn't really need, but then again, apparently these kind of books held some kind of value, meaning that they might attract attention from the less lawful side of the galaxy as well, so, once again, it didn't hurt to be prepared. "So, Captain, shall we?" she asked and tilted her head slightly away from him as she turned her gaze up to his, one brow raised as a smirk sat on her lips. After this trip, she figured she'd try and bring him to Canto Bight or perhaps Coruscant? It had been a while since she had taken a vacation, but she'd have plenty of time to figure that out once they returned to the ship.

He watched Nujina leave to go get the rest of her things. He stood in the common area turning his gaze towards Elli. He wondered if he should talk to her. She was still for the whole time, the only indication she was alive was the scratching she did on her lower back before returning to her slouched posture. Instead of talking to her he just inhaled the smell of fresh grounds and exhaled, making the vapor above his own cup blow and curl as it dissipated.

Nujina would return and he would not have moved at all. Elli cupped her mug with both hands, turning away from the cafe maker the moment it was finished and walked between the couple. Dedric watched her walk out of the room. Chances were he woudl not see her for another two or three days. But he probably would not understand all the technological things she did with her slicing and programming.

"Indeed." The man smiled before putting down his mug. The two would exit the common area and head into the lower cargo area where the speeders were held.. He got on his shark swoop bike. There was another in the cargo bay if Nujina wished to ride separately or she could share the bike with him if she wanted. Either way, as usual he took off at high speed and headed towards the market. It would not take long for them to arrive. He would park the blue swoop bike and dismount before making sure that the twi'lek company followed.

There were stalls with local produce, wares and assorted items that were common place. This was the lower end quality market, away from the large brand name stores that had barely reached this backwater planet. The Sith Empire had a presence here, one he was well aware of. One particular kiosk had some ruddy looking tomes in addition to what looked like well worn hand blasters. At closer inspection he realized they were slug throwers, barbaric to some and nostalgic to others. Looking at Nujina he wondered what the woman thought of the locale.

[fancybox2] As her partner put away his cup she walked along side him and down into the bowels of the ship towards the cargo area. Whilst she normally would have rode his swoop bike, today, she opted to riding one on her own, as it had been far too long since sat behind the steering wheel behind anything smaller than the orange freighter she was now calling home. So, after putting on her specially made helmet she nodded over to Dedric and dismounted the ship after him, shooting out of the cargo hold behind him and keeping up with him as they sped along the open fields of Lothal towards the market place that had their designated meeting point with this contact and when they eventually parked their bikes she pulled of the helmet and placed it on her seat before walking up beside Dedric.

Glancing around she could see a shocking amount of stalls, containing everything from fruits and other local produce to meats and furs along with other items one could consider somewhat luxurious on a world like Lothal. Walking alongside him she kept her lips sealed, she was aware that occasionally she talked way too much and she wanted to make sure that now wasn't one of those times. When they eventually reached stall with some tomes and weapons of an ancient design she glanced around and looked at the tomes before glancing up at Dedric then turning to the Rodian who ran the small kiosk. "Hello, sir, you don't happen to be Siisiu? We've scheduled a meeting with him here." She said and looked at the green alien with a tilt of her head.

"If you aren't..." she started and placed a careful finger on one of the tomes as the Rodian tilted his head, "... Could you leave a message that we're here to pick up the crate of Citrus fruit?" she asked with a smile, pulling her hand back and placing it in one of her many thigh pockets with a smile. The Rodian looked like he had raised a brow and looked between them. "Ah, the Citrus shipment, right, of course, yes, I'm Siisiu." the Rodian spoke and stood up from his seat which turned out to be nothing more than a low crate. "You're the Twi'lek Faazaal told me about, hmm, yes." he said and Nujina nodded. "Yes, and this," nodding to Dedric, "is my partner, we're here about the old tome our friend told me about."

"If I don't recall incorrectly, which I doubt, the price was 2 500 Credits?"
she looked over to Dedric with a slightly raised brow, mostly to see the reaction when it came to the price, she had no idea how valuable or not one of these tomes were.
