Ellora, mid-day local time

⌬ THEME ⌬
"Alright, Brent ol buddy, you know what time it is?..." He let the question go unanswered as he walked towards his perosnal XS-100 light freighter. "...It's adventure time." His pilot droid moved past him, ignoring his antics as usual. Whether it had developed a personality that just did not want to deal with his tendencies or it remained the goal based droid it had previously been was a mystery. Either way, the Drast never relented in his ways regardless of company.

The man stopped at the bottom of his ramp with some of the notes he had taken down while in the library. He was the type to usually go off on a swoop bike chasing after police sirens or investigating anything that could lead to some fun adventure. That was also what had landed him in trouble time and again with Grandmaster breaux. He could not blame the Jedi Masters of the Order or the leaders of the Rebellion suggesting he should be kept in the libraries of the temples. Turns out that Brent tended to take to his studies and find excuses to go out on quests regardless. I am a rebel after all. Of course I rebel.

His finger scrolled across the datapad wondering if he could find any better clues to where this forgotten temple was. So far he only knew what planet it was on. That was about it. Still, double checking his work was about all he could do while he waited for his companions to join him.

With a relaxed pace did she walk through the corridors leading to the designated hangar. This was bound to be an interesting adventure. While they had only met once before, Sakadi looked forward to meeting the energetic Padawan again. Unlike last time, however, this type of mission was right up her alley.

Setting foot in the hangar, she sensed the by now familiar presence of Brent. He was waiting for his companions, in front of what she assumed was his light freighter. The Knightess had no idea who else he had invited to join him on this endeavor, neither was she fully aware of where they were going. All she knew was, to summarize his message, going right up to the Edge of Sith space with the awesome Brent Fury Drast to recover some ancient scrolls. Nevertheless the message had sparked her curiosity, which was the main reason why she came here today.

"So, if I promise I'll join you on this trip, will you tell me where exactly we are going?" Sakadi would convey

It’d been a while since Miha had a job like this, five years, maybe more by now. Back then he’d been a soldier for the Empire, assigned as a bodyguard for a researcher investigating graves and abandoned citadels. He wasn’t on speaking terms with his old employer now. It seemed like he’d have better company for this trip however; he’d never met Brent, but from what Miha had heard the expedition was going to be an interesting one. Miha would just have to make sure it was a fruitful one to boot. He emerged from the hangar entrance a few seconds after Sakadi, dressed for the foul weather of Elora with a heavy duffle bag slung over his shoulders. “Sorry I’m late,” he said shaking the rain off his cloak “Had to pick up some reading for the road.” He lit a cigarra as he strolled towards the ship and his team mates, laying his bag down at his feet and dumping his heavy cloak over it to reveal the datapad sticking out the folds of his robes.

Pinching his cigarra between his lips, he offered a handshake to Brent. “Mihal’ii Archan, guessing you’re Brent?” His eyes flickered briefly towards his other companion, before recognition lit up across his face and he turned his head to face her. “Ahh, Sinvala, good to see you.”

Brent looked up from his datapad as he heard a voice speak up. Sakadi stood in front of him and caused him to quirk a smile. The lavender skinned sephi was looking much better now that the sustained injuries had healed. "Spintir, ever heard of it?" He had his doubts she did. There were a monumental amount of worlds and systems in the galaxy. It had taken days of focused study to find what little information he had. Then again, some fellow members of the Jedi Order could surprise him.

The voice of the third and final member of the group came. Brent turned to look at him and guage him and nodded. When he extended a hand the Drast extended his own to meet his. "Call me Fury." Though he noticed that Miha called Sakadi more formally by her last name. After pleasantries were finished he waved them all to join him on the ship.

He headed for the cockpit along side he pilot droid that was already waiting for him. There was enough room for the four of them in there if they wanted to be but for now he was just going to take them up and out of the planet's atmosphere. Everything was set and they were clear for take off. Brent tended to gun the controls when he was flying. Usually his pilot droid was a more pleasant chauffeur than he was but that was mostly because the Jedi loved the feeling of excitement that came with flying at high speed. Hopefully everyone had strapped in.

Spintir... didn't ring a bell. She was familliar with most populated planets, but Spintir? That did not sound familliar. What did sound familliar though, was the voice of the their third team member. It was a man she had recently met before. Mihal'ii Archan. She felt a bit more at ease, knowing that she could trust both her allies on this adventure.

"Well then, let's get going" the Knightess stated, as Brent allowed both of them to come on board. She followed him to the cockpit and took the seat right behind Brent. She preferred to stay clear of piloting or copiloting freighters, shuttles, or any spacecrafts for that matter. Not because she was a poor pilot, no, her reason was far more practical. She had no voice, which meant that a translator was not an option. Digital written messages worked, but when did a pilot ever have time to type a message? Besides, the copilot needed space to operate as well.

What she didn't expect, however, was Brent's rough and fast take off. He was excited all right, but the Knightess did not expect it at all. She recalled his flight pattern being a lot less... energetic the last time she had been in a spacecraft with the rebel. It seemed like the ideal moment to continue her interrogation.

"So where on Spintir are these scrolls located? What makes them valuable to begin with?" she asked, as she clenched the arms of her chair.

When he’d learnt the mission would be to Spintir, Miha had done his own research, mostly geographical survey data. Jedi didn’t typically import materials, they used what the land had to offer; But when it came to building large structures, only certain materials and conditions would do. Miha couldn’t say where the temple was for sure, but know what to rule out would help narrow things down. He was about to offer up the dataslate with his notes when his partners began to quickly board the ship. Miha lingered behind for a few seconds to gather his things and finish his cigarra.

As a result, he was still climbing his way to the cockpit when Brent made his take off. He shambled into the room not long after they’d breached the atmosphere, sporting a large welt above his eyebrow. “A warning would be appreciated next time.” He grumbled, taking the co-pilot’s seat.

The man just chuckled in response to the others being uncomfortable with his take off. Soon the planet was the size of a toy ball and the ship was beyond high orbit. He began calculating the hyperdrive coordinates. The gee forces decreased as the man stopped accelerating. The pilot droid took over as he focused on making sure the coordinates were right.

"sooo, Spintir is in the outer rim...that's there...then there's Ellora behind us. That's unknown regions. We will need to gooo... He was looking over the map and double checking his work. "here, before hoping to here. Looks like we have a couple trade routes we can go through though so that should help decrease our time. Great, so probably no more than ten days until we reach there. That's not so bad." With that being said he swiveled in his chair to look at Miha and Sakadi.

Wonder if Sakadi is the type of gal who would want to pass the time by- BLEEP His pilot droid made a noise jolting him from his thoughts. "Oh right...guess I should actually have us jump to hyperspace. Duh! LOL" Soon the ship had stars streaking past it and was headed into the blue tunnel of hyperspace.

Sakadi watched carefully as Brent pointed out where they were going. It truly was at the edge of Sith space. It meant that this could possibly end up being a dangerous mission. Thinking of the possible dangers and scenarios the trio might encounter, Sakadi leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs.

"Can you tell me more about the temple we're looking for? I don't recall the Jedi Order having a temple on spintir, much less one containing the artifact we are looking for." she asked Brent. Like usual, she made sure her telepathic message was received both by Miha and Brent. If she didn't, it could become quite akward, she knew that from experience.

Her hand hovered over the unfamiliar lightsaber she had by her side. She still wasn't use to the red blade, despite the many training sessions she had gone through with the weapon. She would have to purify the crystal soon; being unable to fully rely upon your weapon could mean death when facing the Sith.

With a sigh did the Knightess get up from her chair. It was time to explore the ship, she would have to live here for atleast twenty days after all.

"Also, can you show me where my cabin is located? I need a place to leave my stuff after all." she stated, pointing at the decently sized bag she had taken aboard with her.

Miha couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he saw just much red was on the map. "Are we expecting any encounters with Imperials? This close by, we might not be the only ones looking for the temple." While he was more than happy to take a few more Imperialists out of this war, Miha wasn't looking to get his fingers bit off teasing a hound. As he finished his question, Miha leaned back and pulled the dataslate out of his robes, waiting to take notes on the answers.

When Sakadi followed up with a question about her quarters, Miha put away the slate as he added "I wouldn't mind joining in the house tour, you've got a kitchen right?" Twenty days on a ship he didn't know sounded torturous to Miha, getting comfortable here was the only way to stay sane for the whole trip.

Brent reached under his seat and pulled out a thermos of jet juice before taking a generous gulp that caused him to wince a little and shuddering at the sensation it gave. "From what I read it was a kind of a rehab sort of place for wayward Jedi. On a mountain top, not too far from the planet's capital I think but I don't know. That might be a pretty wide area. Anyways I guess it was lost and forgotten awhile back. The chaos of war and all that jazz."

The trip to Spintir and the space around it would take over a week and he had the supplies for it and the fuel but it would be smart for them to make a pit stop about half way. Now that they were en route he remembered he had forgot to restock on his personal items like snacks and such. But at least they had emergency rations for a month in the cargo hold.

Getting up he would usher Miha and Sakadi to follow. "We're leaving the cockpit. Here is a casual sitting place. A table, yatta yatta, the bare essentials are over there.." He pointed towards the rather standard space ship kitchen. A small sink, an electric mini-stove top for a single pot or pan, a fridge, and a flash cooker.

Whether Miha stayed there or not was up to him but Brent continued on. "Here are the sleeping quarters are." He made a point to stand a little bit closer to Sakadi than normal and spoke a little bit quieter so that Miha would be less likely to hear. There was a small sliding door for two different compartments. "The one on the right has four beds so Miha and you shouldn't have to fight over top or bottom bunk..." He looked towards Sakadi and took another sip of his drink that was slowly starting to become more tolerable the more he drank it. "...but the one on the left. Originally it was made for the pilot and co-pilot to share. Since I have a droid co-pilot I made some adjustments. The usual, put up a poster or two, added a larger single bed instead of two small ones." If she had not caught onto what he inviting her towards he would keep going. It would not surprise him if Sakadi was that aloof. "We might have to cut down on heating too while we're out here too. Wouldn't want you to get cold though so maybe if you wanted to share a bed I would understand." He brandished the jet juice in case the Sephi wanted a swig. You've got a sixty percent chance of getting a yes Fury. If she rejects you...well...don't act surprised.

A forgotten temple, with it's purpose being a place for wayward Jedi to rehabilitate? If she had to name it, she would've called it the 'temple of solitude.' It would likely be an isolated temple, located somewhere out of sight. And well, if nobody had visited the Temple over the past the Force knows how many years, she imagined it wasn't going to be easy to find.

Brent quickly guided Miha and her through the ship. There was a casual sitting place, a small kitchen, nothing too fancy, but the essentials were there. It reminded her once again of the life she used to have; the unnecessary amount of luxury. An army of maids, three different houses... yeah, she had no right to complain about luxury.

The tour ended at what she presumed was supposed to be 'the best part', namely the sleeping quarters. It didn't go unnoticed to her how the captain of the ship moved a little closer to her, as he told her about the sleeping quarters. Just as she wanted to throw her bags in the room on their right, Brent continued. He continued talking about his own sleeping quarters, to her amusement. She wasn't dense enough to not get what he referred to, but she allowed him to finish nevertheless. As her amusement was written all over her face, she turned to the man.

"It's sweet of you, but you don't have to worry about me." she exclaimed as she threw her bags in the room on their right. "Besides, I think Mihal'ii will freeze a lot sooner. Might wanna check up on him too. Don't tell him I said that though" she conveyed with a sly wink, as she wondered what the Grandmaster would've said.

A humble grin came across his face as he heard Sakadi turn him down in her own way. A nod and chuckle came from him. "I'm sure he'll be fine. He took a step away from his quarters and Sakadi letting her know he was not going to persue her anymore unless she gave some other kind of sign that said she had changed her mind.

Turning to head back to the cockpit he had some things to put in for the ship as they transitioned to their new location. "If you change your mind..." He turned halfway around and winked towards her. "...you know where to find me." With that being said the rest of their trip would be fairly quiet. Brent would play music fairly loud but localized in either the cockpit or his bedroom when he went between the two but not enough to make rest impossible for his two cohorts. The jet juice he consumed got smaller and smaller as he continued to consume the beverage and make the most of his down time outside of the jedi library.
