Lois & Olive King

Lois and Olive sat in the cafeteria sitting side by side, eating. "This food is delicious." Lois marvelled. "I'd heard the jedi got all the best stuff, they weren't lying."

"Still not as good as mom's." Olive complained.

"Oh, quit your bitching." Lois smiled, staring off into nowhere. "We're training to become jedi! jedi! How cool is that! I bet any of our friends would have killed to sit where we are right now. And we even already have a master!"

"I wonder what he'll look like." Olive pondered.

 

[Dmitri]

"Let's hope they wouldn't actually kill to be here," said a voice. "The Jedi do not kill if they do not have to."

At the doorway was a Nautolan, green as the sea. Wearing Jedi General armor, he strolled inside with a dufflebag.

"So you're Lois and Olive King," said Shi-Gel-Hu. "I admit I've never trained siblings together, let alone at the same time." Dropping the bag, he continued, "May I introduce myself. I am Master Shi-Gel-Hu."

Olive scurried out of the bench to stand at attention, Lois took a longer time, feeling her way, but stood at attention also. "I'm Olive, and this is my sister lois." Olive announced their names. "Its a pleasure to meet you Shi-Gel-Hu.

 

[Dmitri]

The siblings introduced themselves, in which Shi-Gel-Hu nodded in acknowledgement. "The pleasure is mine. So, tell me, what experience do you have with the Force and the sigil of the Jedi, the lightsaber?"

"I used to beat up the local boys with a stick whenever we played jedi and sith." Olive smiled.

"I have no experiance with combat." Lois sighed. "But i have done some research on the beliefs of your order."

"But neither of us has any practice with the force." Olive finished.

 

[Dmitri]

Shi-Gel-Hu mentally sighed. So both were total novices.

"Let's start with the basics," said Shi-Gel-Hu. "Tell me the Jedi Code and what you believe the stanzas mean."

"There is no Emotion; There is Peace
There is no Ignorance; There is Knowledge
There is no Passion; There is Serenity
There is no Chaos; There is Harmony
There is no Death; There is the Force" Lois spouted off from memory. "It means we give up our emotion for inner peace. We fight ignorance by gaining knowledge. We surrender our passion for the serenity. We fight chaos and spread harmony. And we cannot die, we can only join the force."

Olive merely pointed to her sister and said, "Yeah, what she said."
