The air in the Cargo Ship Hangar of Coruscant scratched against Lane Miller's lungs as he strode into the large facility. He was posing as a ship inspector for the time being, until he found a ship he could fly out of here. All he needed was clearance, and he was good as gone.

But no one else needed to know that...

"Time to get to work..."
he muttered under his breath as he approached a young worker in gray cover alls. The kid looked up as Lane stopped in front of him, questioning eyes looking at the man's briefcase that seemed a little large. What he didn't know was that Lane was packing some serious heat in there; heat, meaning his blaster carbine and remote detonators.

The worker stood up straight, recognizing Lane's Inspector patch on his collar, almost as if he was acting like he was working.

"Nothing to see here, sir! I'm simply checking flight logs, nothing important ya see!" he said quickly. He fumbled with a datapad in his hands.

Lane looked at the nametag on the young man's collar, which read, RIVER. He nodded quickly and flashed a reassuring grin to calm the boy down.

"River, is it?" he asked, and shook his head. "Don't worry kid, I'm just inspecting that old transport you've got down there..." he explained, and indicated the old cargo ship with a jab of his thumb. He kept his eyes on River the whole time, reading his expressions, any signs of suspicion. Lane saw none.

Good. Showtime.

River nodded and checked his datapad. "Oh, that one." he replied, and shrugged his shoulders. "You won't have any trouble at all with her, no sir, I guarantee you that. You can go right on ahead and give her a test flight if you'd like." he said. "If that's all you need, I should be getting back to these records... lost of work ya see... lots of work indeed."

Perfect! Not only had Mister River been dumb enough to realize that Lane's Inspector insignia was fake, but he was completely STUPID enough to let him have a test flight! Lane thanked him with a pat on the shoulder, and turned to walk down the rest of the way by himself.

With a smirk on his face, he reached the cargo ship, and simply stood at the door, completely content with the way things were going. This was turning out to be...

"...too easy." he thought aloud.
