And again, no one is suggesting that someone is all of them at once.

I'm going to have to cut you off there, though, since this isn't the topic of this thread. If you'd like to continue the discussion, though, feel free to PM me.

People are going to get a up in arms about this, but I feel like having a female LGBT character doesn't really move us forward at all. Besides she's not the first. Medrit and Beviin were a happily married gay couple, and their existence caused much less of a stir.

Also who's Cham sydulla or whwtever

She's the first canonical one, and that's what people have responded to. The Mandalorians you mentioned are Legends.

Cham Syndulla was the leader of the Twi'lek Resistance during the Clone Wars. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, he fought to liberate Ryloth from the Separatists. In this book, he's the leader of the Free Ryloth movement fighting against the Empire. He's also the father of Hera Syndulla, one of the main characters of Star Wars Rebels and one of the key people involved in the formation of the Rebel Alliance.

I don't understand the canon vs legends thing. Why is there the need for differentiation?

Because the new movies are completely ignoring the EU story (thankfully) and doing their own thing, so the EU had to become non-canon.

Sorry, I completely understand what you mean, but you saying "The Mandalorians are Legends" is just quite amusing, given how some people see them.

Any who, I also liked Cham. I felt he wasn't given a lot of screen time in TCW though.

Canon is Canon. Legends are not canon. But to me, if they did it first, they did it first. But that is just going into bragging rights.

Yeah, it definitely is just bragging rights. The importance of LGBT characters in canon, though, is that it acknowledges the (hopefully obvious) point that the Star Wars galaxy is diverse. And when it comes to Mors, before her, there were no LGBT characters in the official story. So this changes that.

Finally finished. Great read, ending felt abrupt, but I enjoyed it.

Just finished the Audiobook of Lords of the Sith. I thoroughly enjoyed both the book and its narrator Jonathan Davis. The beginning seemed somewhat difficult for me to get through, but it picked up and ended great.
