Newly minted Sith Master Xornoth Sk'ar arrived on the planet Sarka with dreams of conquest and glory. Months of hard painstaking planning were about to pay off as the groundwork for the Imperial invasion now bore fruit and his forces now lay poised to move on its capital of Salyrini which lay hidden deep within the cave complex.

Previous operations against the planet would thoroughly disrupt the defender's ability to respond to their assault however the native Sarkans were still expected to be able to mount some kind of force to resist the invasion. Deep within the cave ahead of the Sith forces was the mighty fortress of Salyria which boasted tall thick stone walls carved into the mountain itself and near impenetrable to all but the most fearsome attacks.

The once mighty garrison had fallen on hard times with both the lack of practical experience and Imperial sabotage taking its toll. Within the walls and posted on watch the fortress could barely muster half a battalion (331) to defend the city and more importantly the vast Ruby mines that lay just for now, beyond reach.

The Sith Master had brought his own battalion (640) that was comprised of the usual mix of raw recruits and seasoned warriors. Today his troops would be fully exposed to the horrors of war and would either learn quickly or die soon after. Fortunately, the Sith Master was accompanied by two exceptional Sith Knights who would help him complete the task at hand and once they arrived, they would join him to discuss strategy.

To begin their meeting, he would test them. "Welcome to Sarka, the jewel of the Mid Rim. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. The enemy we fight today has excellent defensive terrain from which to harass us from and if our intelligence is correct, their weaponry is at least blaster level which means that some of their commanders may possess vibro-weapons of some kind."

The first test would be one of the tactics. "The enemy has access to large-scale geothermal technology, so expect some kind of heat-based terrain or wall defense. Our objective is to secure the fortress at all costs, before then proceeding further into the cave to take the capital city behind it. We believe that the Nova Ruby Mines are amongst the most treasured possession of this species so expect them to defend it with their lives. You both will lead a platoon for this mission, however, I want to hear your thoughts on how best to take a fortified position."

Upon arriving on the planet, the Dagobah Sith exited the transport shuttle taking a few moments to put the terrain and layout to memory. She was of the understanding the task that laid before her would require a military hand, a show of force to punch the mouth of the enemy; breaking jaws and dislodging teeth. She found, to her surprise, that she was looking forward to this. The Knight was a newcomer to the battlefield, yet she had taken the time beforehand to study what she should could about warfare and military tactics. Though not seasoned like most of the troops she saw stationed here, she was not entirely useless nor would she be a hindrance to the Sith Master's crusade. She was smart and deadly, knowing that her own self-preservation took precedence over glory and fame; and because of this, there would be no carelessness and overconfidence on her part.

Escorted by two troops, the Knight met up with the Sith Master, a member of the Order she was unfamiliar with personally; but had heard about slightly. The power she felt radiating off him made her feel jealous, though if her destiny and fate would properly align themselves, then one day she too would become more powerful than this Master. With a small bow of her head, her tied back lekku, danced gently forward.
"Master Sk'ar, I am Knight Xhexania." The Dagobah Witch suffered from well versed conversational skills. She talked little, making actions her preference; which led to many awkward moments in her life.

She stood, listening and hanging onto every word the Sith Master said, nodding from time to time. So there was going to be an assault and she was to lead a platoon herself. Rather than feeling nervous, she felt proud that the Sith Master was giving her this opportunity to prove herself on the field of battle. Then came the statement posed by him, regarding her thoughts on how to attack a fortified position. Taking a deep breath and recalling what she had studied, she spoke.

"We could utilize a military strategy such as attrition warfare, which we could dwindle them piece by piece. This strategy could work because you mentioned they would defend these mines with their lives, giving them high moral forcing them to take unnecessary chances. However, without knowing their precise resources such as provisions, medical supplies, and ammo reserves; this could turn into a siege lasting days, perhaps weeks. And I'm sure you want those mines sooner than later, Master Sk'ar."

Stealing a glance at the fortress, she turned back to the others adding,
"We could hit them with a direct assault, essentially putting all our forces in one basket until we break through. However, despite our advantage in manpower and equipment; the enemy have the advantage of both the terrain and their position. They would cut us down as we drew closer, perhaps causing us to retreat from time to time; forcing us to attack in waves which would dwindle our forces."

Placing her hands behind her back, locking them together, she continued.
"From the reports you sent out, the sabotage teams made quick work on some of the structure, weakening both the eastern and western sides. With our firepower, we should concentrate our attack on both sides, whilst one group hits the north. To risk being overrun and flanked, the enemy will be forced to pull reinforcements from the north to replenish the losses from the east and west, thus weakening themselves there. In time, we will have our pick of entrances. This is, however, my opinion. In the end, Master Sk'ar, the final decision is yours."

Vincent exited "The Reckoner" and headed to the meeting point, sith master Sk'ar was already there and conbersing with the other Sith that would be on this mission. A Twi'lek woman who -from the end of what he caught as he approached- had a good idea about tactics.

"I imagine attrition is out,sst We don't rightly have the luxury of time an' there's a dang good chance they have supplies fer months.sst There's also a chance they have another way to resupply.sst"

His reasoning was sound, with any luck his allies -Particularly master Sk'ar- would agree with him.

"I like the idea of hitting them from all sides an' spreading them as thin as we can.sst I think we should go with that but I would suggest we continuously attack and fall back to draw them out of their fortress.sst With some snipers or artillery positioned in the right spots we could use that tactic to quickly thin out their forces.sst"

He had never had autonomous command of a squad before, and he was looking forward to getting started. Once the battle began he would get to show his mettle in battke in front of another Sith master. He had his pistols loaded with lethal cartridges, and eight lethal reloads with him. He k ew this battle would be tough and since there weren't likely to be any Jedi here he figured that stun rounds would just leave him with a bunch of inert bodies to kill later.

"As the lady said though, sst The descision is yours master Sk'ar.sst"

Xornoth waited on both of the knights before him to offer their presentations before weighing each by its worth. The enemy was smart to dig deep within their caves, as any field battle would be over on the first contact owing to both the numerical and technological superiority that the Empire enjoyed over them. Both knights offered sound military advice along the same line of thinking that he had been considering although so far the Twi'lek had impressed more him owing to her being a relative newcomer to the Sith from his understanding.

"Xhexania is it? You have done well to identify your enemies weakness, especially one that they falsely believe is a strength." Vincent thought like a Sith that was true but that wasn't always enough. "Unfortunately our enemy won't be as forthcoming, it would be unlikely they would venture from their walls as you might like however against another more confident enemy perhaps."

Xornoth was not completely confident that he had enough soldiers present to take the fortress by themselves, however, the three of them combined represented the lions share of the threat being brought to bear against it.

"Knight Xhexania, you will take one platoon (40) under your direct command and another three platoons (120) will be assigned to your sector. Knight Vincent, you too will take one platoon (40) under your direct command and another three platoons (120) will be assigned to your sector. The remaining forces (320) will hold the northern flank until you have breached and then we will join you. Xhexania, you have passed the first test and therefore you may choose which wall is yours."

The enemy had half garrisoned the North and East walls as they expected the Sith attacks to come from these vectors and had only lightly garrisoned the West wall where they felt more secure. Large protruding cylinders could be seen three-quarters of the way up the walls on each side, however, the West wall was one that had more clearing in front of it and prevented them from sneaking in easily.

The Northern route was the only path that was connected directly to the fortress itself, with the others being protected by a moderately deep dry moat. Each of the side walls was smaller albeit still formidable defensive objects with small towers offering good firing arcs for the defenders and limited visibility for the attackers. All three gates were extremely heavy metallic doors of unknown composition however it would be up to the creativity of the two knights as to how they would find a way to breach.

Once inside they would need to secure both the barracks and command headquarters to take it properly. It would also be likely that once the firing began, the defenders would mostly scramble to the walls to start looking for targets. Xornoth did not expect his knights to do all of the work, but any major obstacle would be their primary concern.

"Cut down any who resist you, leave the weak and surrendered to be taken by the battalion. I want you both to focus on eliminating their leaders, their morale is already weak from losing their prized general so let us further decapitate their ability to resist. A freighter full of Nova Rubies to the one who kills the Colonel."

"59," she said handing the macrobinoculars back to the soldier after counting the defenders on the East wall. Though having the exact number was helpful, the moat and those protruding cylinders could pose problems. Already her platoon was outnumbered by 19, and she would not use the reserves assigned to her sector unless the situation became dire. So her assault, when it came, needed to be swift and efficient.

First, she took her ten heavy artillery soldiers, placing them beyond the range of the enemy, since they now knew their opposition had basic rifles. When the signal came, they would begin a volley of fire into the ranks of the enemy on the wall; to keep them from countering her ground assault and breaking the moral of the enemy. With the remaining thirty troops, they would run in a serpentine pattern toward the moat, where they will be forced to cross it quickly and place themselves up against the wall; robbing the enemy from clean and clear shots, which would force the enemy to reveal themselves if they wished to attack. And if they did so, her boys would have the advantage in the fire fight.

Once the moat was cleared, they would use grapple hooks on the cylinders to scale the walls in threes, with covering fire from the ground troops and the artillery unit. This would be the hardest challenge for the first few waves, for they would suffer the full blunt of the enemy's attack upon reaching the top; which was why she would personally lead the upward attack. There would be casualties on her side, but her goal was to minimize what she could; for even after securing the wall, there were more of the enemy spread throughout the fortress. And, in the event it did, her allies assaulting the other walls failed, she would be forced to deal with a swarm of the enemy.

Then came her signal.

Charging across the field, the barrage from her artillery units flew overhead connecting with their targets with a 75% accuracy, she reached the moat with small number of losses on her side. The moat, however, proved difficult due to it's depth. For awhile she and her boys where forced to fight their way up the moat which took longer than expected; and if not for the artillery assault, her attack could have ended there.

With the moat cleared and pressed up against the wall, her remaining assault team (20) began their grappling. As the first wave went up, she used the Force to hop from one object to the next; placing her at the top before any of her team. Igniting her two lightsabers, she went to work killing the enemy and giving her men the time needed to get to the top.

When the last of the surviving soldiers made it to the top, the enemy had been decimated. By her hand alone 15 of the enemy laid slain. Now she scanned the area for this Colonel, spotting him as he fled West, his tracks covered by reinforcements. The chance to kill the Colonel had eluded her, but in his place more of the enemy to kill.

When it was over, at least on her side, 56 of the initial Eastern wall defenders were dead, three now in custody and being shipped back to the Sith's camp. As for the small contingent of reinforcements, 21 had been killed whilst the rest fled in retreat. Powering down her weapons, she activated the com link and spoke clearly and with a strong sense of pride and accomplishment, "The East wall is secure. The Colonel is westward bound."

Vincent had opted for the more sparsely defended west wall, aiming to break through easily and take the northern wall from within.

"Nineteen.sst" he muttered. "Almost too easy to be fun.sst"

He put down his set of macrobinoculars and looked to his troops. "Artillerysst Fire at will.sst"

As the first shells flew towards the walls he adressed the thirty remaining troops. "The rest of you follow me!sst"

His orders delivered he wasted no time and began to run towards the wall, The shells from his artillery hitting the top and middle of the wall -instantly killing some of the defenders and keeping the majority of the rest of them pinned down.

Having chosen the least defended wall his artillery managed to keep the defenders well dealt with, which made getting through the dry moat much easier than it could have been and as they reached the bottom of the wall and his troops began to fire their grapples up and ascend Vincent took his lightsaber from his belt and activated it. He crouched for a moment and with the assistance of the force he launched himself up the wall, kicking off the cylinders to propel himself higher in the air.

As he landed he immediately went to work, hacking and slashing to keep the defenders busy until his troops crested the wall.

All told there were thirteen defenders dead and six now in custody or wounded enough to not be a problem, and as Vimcent finished one off he heard Xhexania's message on his comms. He spotted the Colonel as he reached up his left hand to activate his own comms.

"I see him,sst Moving to intercept.sst"

He rushed towards the Colonel and flung out his left hand, sending tendrils of the force out towards him and putting him in a stasis lock until two of his troops came with binders and took him into custody.

"Colonel is in custody and the west wall is ours.sst"

His own self-satisfied tone came out now as he watched some of the reserve units begin to come up the wall and reinforce their hold on the western wall, he deactivated his saber but kept it at the ready. They had won two walls so far, and now they had to take the northern wall and the rest of the fortress. This campaign was merely getting started.

Xornoth watched on proudly as both knights took to their mission with vigor and quickly stormed the fortress before them.

Not wanting to be completely left out of the fun Xornoth ordered a general advance upon the Northern wall that was moderately guarded. They had deliberately left this section last as to draw the enemy away from the position however as the enemy commander had been apprehended quickly, the soldiers defending the Northern position received no orders to reinforce the other walls.

Like his fellow Sith, Xornoth quickly crossed the empty moat and assisted the first few platoons in their scaling of the wall to initiate combat with the first line of defenders. A small force assisted jump permitted him to land upon the hardened cylinders which by now had begun to rattle intently as if something had been awakened. As suddenly as they attacked, boiling water shot out of the end of the tube toward the then empty moat and which started filling and causing any soldier caught in its stream to immediately die an agonizing death.

The defense worked and cut half his forces off from the battle however sufficient troopers had already made it across that Xornoth pressed on to complete their task. Xornoth leaped into the air above the battlement igniting his saber midair and landing between several stunned soldiers before a powerful force blast tore from beneath his feet causing everyone within a few meters of him to fly backward.

As more and more Imperial soldiers scaled the top and joined the intense melee, Xornoth cleaved and sliced his way through the ranks of worthless, nameless soldiers as a farmer might hold the grains of wheat at his mercy before the brute force of a sythe. Overwhelming firepower soon cleansed the Northern wall of defenders and left the now victorious Sith to examine the battlefield from above for the first time.

From his vantage point, he could see a vast majority (90) of the remaining reptilian soldiers had been caught unaware of their sudden and deliberate attack and by now were scrambling to escape through the Southern gate back towards the safety of the capital. Some defenders clearly held more courage as the captains attempted to rally reinforcements towards all three Sith attacks. The lateness of his attack meant that few if any at all (8) would be available to move his way while more (22) were being sent against Xhexania and the East wall. The largest contingent (37) of reinforcements were likely part of the original garrison on the West wall and would certainly test Vincent.

With all the chaos ongoing on the edge, Xornoth spotted a small group of well-dressed warriors emerge from the command complex in the center of the fortress. These twelve boasted vibro weapons of various kinds and would likely be among the best trained here to fight them (level 1 equivalent). These warriors arranged themselves in defensive positions around the complex to avoid being hit by blaster fire and waited to see how the Sith would try to deal with them. These well-trained soldiers would need to be eliminated if they were to properly secure the facility.

Staring over the wall she watched the assigned soldiers to this sector begin moving toward the Eastern gate, now open for business. Along with them came her 10 artillery units, which she needed now to boaster her personal ranks. Initially 20 had made the scale up the wall and defeat the enemy alongside her, but the battle had reduced that number to now 13. The total would give her 23 to press forward into the facility, where the reinforcements would no doubt be responsible for guarding the wall; unless the Sith Master had other plans for them.

From behind her she heard the thunderous footfalls, followed by insistent screams and howls of the enemy's reinforcements. Brave fools, the lot of them. As the enemy came into visibility she counted 22, once again pitting her and her boys on the wrong side of the advantage game. Brave fools, but they were reckless and undisciplined and Xhexania was going to punish them horribly. With a small, simple hand gesture her troops dropped to one knee propping the butts of their rifles against their shoulders; thus giving them better sturdiness against the rifle's recoil. Without a whisper spent, the troops opened fired into the ranks of the courageous enemy; killing all but 9 in that first opening sequence.

Igniting her blades, she lept from the wall's rampart; landing with a soft thud. Flashing her filed-pointe teeth, she let loose an animal snarl and charged toward them; batting away shots as the boys from behind her gave her covering fire. By the time she met the enemy in close quarters, of the original 9 only 3 had went unscathed. Using the Force, she shot a blistering wave blast that knocked the men to the ground, and as they scrambled to recover; she impaled the closest one with her left blade whilst bringing down her right blade across another's arms, severing them both as he used them to push himself up off the ground.

The third man made it to his feet only to be lifted off the ground by his throat by invisible hands. Struggling and clawing at those hands that weren't there, his fear and panic flooded the Dagobah Sith's senses; putting a sinister smile across her red face. Pulling the choking man toward her with ease, she thrusted the left blade into his chest, dropping the corpse onto the street, only to back swing her right lightsaber severing the armless man's head.

Letting out small puff of breath, she noticed arranged in a defensive posture 12 uniquely dressed warriors, each one in possession of a melee weapon. As it stood, she alone was only a few yards from these men. Slowly and gingerly she started toward them, giving the other two Sith time to arrive. After all, why should she have all the murderous fun?

Vincent watched as the group of reinforcements came up onto the ramparts, thirty seven all told. Of his own forces thirty five remained -including his artillery unit- he was not concerned about being outnumbered by a mere two troops. His Twi'lek ally seemed to be faring well and Vincent was not one to be shown up by anyone, so he immediately set a plan in motion.

"Right boys,sst Let's take 'em out.sst"

He reactivated his saber and pulled out his left hand pistol before charging at the ranks of reinforcements, batting away bolts with his crimson blade as he went to cover not only himself but however many of his troops that were withing the reach that he could protect. Before he and his troops reached the group of defenders he had fired five shots and made five kills, then came the clash.

Crimson blade whirling as the bolts from his troops flew along with bolts from his own blaster Vincent quickly ran out of rounds and began using the blade on the grip of the weapon, the pistol flipped around like a small hatchet.

He buried the pistol's blade in the head of one enemy while bisecting another at the waist with his saber, then removed the blade from the head of the first and chopped through the throat of the second as the defender fell.

For several moments he was a whirling dervish of durasteel and plasma, death following wherever he twirled until there was no resistance left to offer. He and his troops had accepted the surrender of two more defenders, and Vincent quickly dispatched two that were left with heavy wounds.

He took stock of his own troops, there were thirty left after the battle including his artillery squad. As they regrouped he saw the twelve vibro-weapon weilding soldiers taking up positions, he assumed that these were elite troops and built up a ball of force energy in his left hand -after reloading and holstering his pistol-.

After buildimg up the energy for a few seconds Vincent caused it to ignite and hurled the small explosive fireball at the nearest elite soldier, engulfing him in flames.

He clicked on his comms for a moment "Looks like we got some special forces comin' at us.sst" he reported as he looked around for his next target.

The puny number of reinforcements sent to the Northern wall were quickly cut down by the Imperial troopers that were accompanying the Sith Master. Both Xhexania and Vincent had been completely successful in the mission thus far he noted for later, no doubt commendations and such were due.

With the retreat of the others, all that stood in their way was this band of warriors who now stood defiantly in careless disregard for their own lives in the hopes that their deaths would spare the others. Xornoth for himself thought it only fitting that they get to dispatch some worthy adversaries before the day's work was completed.

Still, he understood that Vincent was an accomplished fighter in his own right and could likely easily handle what was coming to him but he would keep a watchful eye on how Xhexania was doing, just in case she was getting overwhelmed.

In this regard, Xornoth broke into the melee aggressively by using the force to pull a then startled warrior toward him who then simply would be impaled upon the end of his crimson red blade before his body crumbled to the hard stone beneath them. Two down, 10 to go as the remaining others cursed the Sith approaching them while Xornoth circled in Xhexania's direction.

On the heels of two warrior deaths, the remaining 10 broke ranks; splitting into three groups to repel the attacking, war mongering Sith. Stopping dead in her tracks, Xhexania waited patiently for the 3 warriors to come to her; granting her time to both observe and formulate plans of defense and offense. In a short span of observation when they engaged her, she assessed these warriors were well trained in both melee combat and weapon usage. They were far superior than her in terms of strength, but where she lacked in strength she made up for in ferocity and defense. Plus, she possessed something they did not; the Force.

To avoid being surrounded, she stepped back after every counterattack to give her space and allow her to think. Then she noticed it. They were great warriors, and along with that came the mentality of warriors; meaning they wanted to be the one to strike her down, which would be their downfall. Instead of attacking her collectively, where they could overwhelm her, they attacked individually using a pattern she quickly deciphered. When the man in the center attacked, she used her right blade to parry the attack, quickly using her left blade in a sweeping motion toward the man on her left; cutting through both legs just above the knees when he stepped into the attack.

The man on her right paused, feeling lost now that their attack pattern had been disrupted. The pause gave her just enough time to go on the attack, where she drove both blades at the man in the center; driving him back enough for her to quickly assault the man on her right. The man parried her attack, and though she had now placed herself between both men; she was in control of the fight. Both men attacked, and she caught each sword on her blade, holding them firmly in place. Then she did the unthinkable, breaking a law of dueling that any Master would chide her for. She powered down both her weapons simultaneously whilst taking a step back.

In doing so, the two warriors who had been pressing their weight against her had lost their balance; both falling forward where they crashed into one another. Seizing the opportunity, she ignited both blades slashing one from left to right, and one right to left where they cut and passed through the two warriors; the blades meeting in the center. Turning her attention to wailing warrior, whose legs had been taken from him, she raised her right foot up; slamming down hard across his throat, snapping it and silencing him.

Only then did she allow the pain to seep momentarily through her body. During the fight where they continued to press her, one of them had slashed her on the left, leaving a wound over her rib cage that dripped blood onto the street. She had suffered her first battle wound, though it was far from fatal; she would remember this as a lesson learned.

Vincent watched the rest of the soldiers split off, having a moment to admire Xhexanias ferocity in battle before a group of four neared him. He hurled a fireball into their midst before charging in himself, bringing his saber to bear against this new threat.

The elite guards had scattered to avoid the fate of their still-flaming comrade and thus were disorganised when the Sith Knight arrived directly in front of them, he brought his saber accross himself and sliced the right arm and head from the soldier on his far left. His blade then moved to quickly block a strike from his right and direct that blade to intercept a strike from his left, the now entangled vibro-weapons in front of him caused the soldier in the middle to be unable to do anything but try and thrust at Vincent, who merely hopped back out of reach.

He twilred and cut the right leg from the elite farthest to his left before using the force to shove him away. As he spun he saw another strike coming from his right. He had no choice but to bring his mechanical left arm up in front of his face to block the blade from decapitating him, the blade bit through his duraplast armor and into the mechanical limb. The arm would still function but there was now a medium sized gash in it throwing bright blue sparks here and there.

He knew the now-weakened arm would become a target, and predictably the other elite guard left immediately swung for it as the one who had hit him pulled the blade back. Vincent chuckled and brought his saber up to parry the attack. Using his free hand to direct a gout of flame into the guards face as he did so.

As the pressure from his blade was relieved due to the now burning soldier falling back and he used this release to quickly whirl and slice the arms off the guard remaining guard who had been raising his blade to strike again. As the man fell back screaming he rammed his blade through the soldiers chest and pulled it up through his head. Leaving only the legless guard. Who Vincent dispatched quicly by bringing his foot down on the guard's windpipe.

He stood panting for a few moments and watched for the final group of elite guardsmen, hoping the battle would be over soon.

The three remaining warriors had moved to engage Xornoth himself together, moving in unison across from each other but also somewhat blocking each from fully having the freedom to all simultaneously strike him. The first swung from a high guard position downward while the other two still attempted to get into position to make their own.

Xornoth held a low guard momentarily before violently swinging his blade up toward central warrior, timed perfectly to arrive under the hands of the aggressor, splitting them in two and rendering the weapon harmless as it fell to the floor. After that, taking his life was child's play.

Immediately Xornoth chose the swordsman on the left and swung high to meet the incoming blade, locking it in place as he swiftly pushed his opponent's blade higher and sidestepped him, causing the vibroblade to fall away from him. From this position, he was then able to simply extend his blade out and cause a masterful slash across the defenseless torso of his latest mark, ending his life like that.

Lastly, the third warrior hesitated to attack himself after seeing how quickly the other two had been defeated giving a moment for the Sith Master to strike himself with the force. With just one arm outstretched, lightning erupted from his fingertips and caught the unsuspecting warrior completely by surprise.

Frozen in agony, the warrior could simply fall to his knees as Xornoth approached increasing the veracity of his attack causing vicious wounds to appear on the poor reptilian. Once he was content with the extent of his display, Xornoth swung his blade and finally decapitated the last warrior.

Once all the elites had been taken care of the Sith Master would revel in their victory and nod at both knights for their success.

"My troopers will secure the fort, take what's left of your platoons and have some fun. I will be securing the mine itself but you are free to assist or find something to take for your efforts here today. Good work."

The last remaining obstacle would be clearing out any last remaining opposition as the entered the now defenseless city behind the fortress but otherwise, the city was ripe for any looting the trio wished to do before the battle fully concluded and martial law was declared.

Nodding her head toward the Sith Master, she left his presence taking with her the last vestige of her troops. The city had fallen and the mines opened to be plundered. She had no use for rubies or wealth, so she opted to leave the mine's contents to the other two Sith. Whilst walking through the city, tiny pockets of enemy soldiers cropped up from time to time, though they were no real threat to the Sith; she and her boys dealt with them none-the-less, crushing the enemy fully and leaving their corpses in the street as a message to the citizens of Sarka. The Sith Empire was here to rule, their judgment and laws would be swift and brutal, and had they wished to hold onto whatever ideals and concepts they understood about freedom; they should have fought harder for their beliefs.

Kicking open a door, the Sith entered a small, quaint looking house whose occupants had fled either before the Sith entered the fortress or shortly thereafter when it became apparent all hope was lost and abandoned. With the soldiers waiting outside, she began to rummage through the former tenant's belongings. The first objects proved useless and unimportant. After inspecting the second floor, it too held no treasures. By the fourth house, she wondered if she had not made a poor decision in not entering the mines, when she suddenly felt a slight disturbance in the Force.

Following the sensations flooding her, the Dagobah Sith found herself standing in front of a well. Peeking down into the darkness, she caught a glimpse of light and slight movement. Ordering her troops to guard the well, she recalled her twin hilts and lept down into the darkened well. As she landed, her eyes once again caught sight of the light just as it dipped around a corner. Splashing through stale water, her barefeet became coated in slime; a reminder her of home.

After sometime, and the sensations growing stronger, she was spilled out into a small cavern. The cavern itself was not unique, just the typical style one would notice anywhere. It was, however, illuminated by false lights radiating from several well placed lampposts. What the lights revealed was a treasure trove the Empire would surely find useful. Massed together, and huddle tight, where at least 15 children. Though scared and frightened, they looked at the red skinned Twi'lek with curious eyes. The kids must have been hidden away during the onset of the invasion, for their protection naturally, because each kid present was not only unique in appearances; but all in attendance was Force sensitive.

Vincent was uninterested in treasures, and he did not figure there would be anything worth taking asside from the rubies anyway. And the Sith Master had promised a whole shipfull of those to the one who took the colonel into custody, that individual being him he had no need to loot anything.

He waved for his remaining troops to fall in behind him and walked off to help master Sk'ar secure the mines.

As he reached the master he felt a twinge in the force seconds before a blaster was fired out of a small cut in inside the mine entrance, without even thinking Vincent stepped forward and brought his saber up in front of master -deflecting the bolt back into the face of the attacker-.

"Well that was close.sst" he said with a chuckle as he lowered his blade.
