The Exchange had been on the rise of late, its swelling ranks and growing coffers seeing their reputation as a criminal force spreading quickly, and Nor'baal Desilijic Fanth, who now occupied the rank of 'sub-boss', was proud to be a part of it. However, with all the recent unpleasantness that had befallen them, here in the Lekku, the founding base of the Exchange, spirits did need a pick-me-up. Following the attack by rogue maniac Narr Noft, upon whom there was now a sizable bounty, Nor'baal had taken it upon himself to arrange a little get together for the Gangs members.

In part, it was to help collect their spirits.

Mostly it was an excuse to project his own rising strength within the organisation. A key part of being a successful Hutt was ones ability to ensure people understood that you where one of the movers and shakers, and so Nor'baal had already positioned himself in the center of the room, backed against a side wall, he reclined - Hookah pipe in hand, surveying those in attendance. All of the Exchanges members had been invited, the drinks, spice and more would flow, business would be discussed, and no doubt, friendships forged this night.

"Moonak Du." he dictated to one of his two weary looking retainers, who sprayed him with a small bottle of water, much to his delight. Supping on his pipe, Nor'baal looked around to see anyone he would recognise. Naturally, his two retainers and guards either side of him, his protocol unit to his right hand side, ready to translate for him, and in front of his recliner, an open dance floor.

About the room, uniformed Exchange Guards patrolled, armed to the teeth and ready for action following the recent attack, and there, walking through the entrance door, some of the Exchanges more notable members...

OOC - This thread is open to Exchange members only. It is considered a secured event, due to the recent attack on the Lekku, so whilst I will not disable combat, please be aware that this place is swarming with Exchange Guards.

They had hit a few snags here and there, and there were definitely things to worry about on the horizon, but things were looking up for the growing organization. They were quickly spreading in all directions, and in many different areas. Tonight was about celebrating that, as if the Lusty Lekku crowd needed a reason to party like the Galaxy was going to end in the morning.

Gil wore a dark blue blazer and pants with a white shirt underneath. He carried a blaster, though with the amount of security there was tonight, it would take an invasion force to bust up the party.

He came from the back of the room, straightening his sleeve as he entered. The party was already getting started, and Gil had no plans on wasting any time.

"Nor'baal!!" he shouted "You Hutts sure know how to throw a hell of a party!" he said, already getting a good vibe from the room. "I am gonna get a drink and then I am gonna come to relieve you of some of those credits of yours!" he said turning to move towards the bar.

It wasn't long before Drask arrived at the rendezvous point, being escorted off of his personal transport ship, accompanied by two of his Droid Hutt-Guards. Floating on his hoversled, the slow, lumbering Hutt made his way through the main doors of the establishment before entering the room. Looking around the Hutt whispered to one of his servants who in turn made their swift exit of the room. Drask grabbed his spice pipe and took a few puffs, letting out a low grumble accompanied with a few coughs. "Nee choo wanna wanga, Nor'baal!"

Drask had heard a great deal of the Desilijic Nor'baal, coming from a long line of Nor'baals in the family. Drask knew of the Desilijics and their powerful status as one of the five Hutt Families before the collapse of the cartel and the vacuum of power left in Hutt Space. He never much liked members of the great families, their arrogance and ill-will towards the lower Hutt families always irked Drask, Keddo Desilijic comes to mind, he never showed respect to his father and always undermined him. But now the old Hutts and their way were dead, it was time to move forward. Drask knew that was the precise reason he intended to join the Exchange, becoming better connected with other Hutts could strengthen their positions in the crime world. He was willing to give Nor'baal a chance and saw potential future business relations, after all, he was a Sub-Boss in the faction.

Taking another puff of his pipe, the Hutt turned his large head as his glossy eyes made their attention to a man dressed in a dark blue blazer. Drask's pet Kowakian jumped onto his shoulder as it let out a shriek before biting at it's finger for whatever reason. Blowing out some smoke, Drask spoke to the man that was about to walk over to the bar.
"Ah'chu apenkee? Do wee shahnit?" Drask's protocol droid would hobble his way to the side of the Hutt, translating for the man. --The Mighty Drask asks you who you are, and if you are a bounty hunter.--

"HO! HO! HO!" Nor'baals booming laughter rolled around the room like water crashing on rocks as Gillian Rey complemented his party, and made reference to the Hutts favourite pastime - gambling. His attention however, was rapidly drawn away when a newcomer of his own species arrived, a Hutt by the name of Drask, whom Nor'baal had not had the chance to meet before. He was an impressive Hutt, although not of a family whose name Nor'baal new.

Not an ounce of Desilijic blood in this one, he thought to himself as Drask approached and made small talk with Gillian Rey. Despite this, Nor'baal Desilijic Fanth was keen to play the host at least, and waved to one of the waiters saying My kikyuna kasa yarga, la dah cotma foota." in his native Huttese, which his droid saw little need to translate for Drask.

As a newcomer to the Exchange, he was interested what this 'Drask' was willing to do for them, and so he asked him directly "Wa wanna mi moulee kikyana?" He was in little mood to entertain the pretence that the two Hutts would be here for much other than business, at this stage at least, and so he cut to the chase, eager for the newcomer to open up about his current business dealings, and future relationship with the Exchange.

Kholvar had been looming for some time now, attempting to stick mostly to the fringes though any real attempt at truly blending in was mostly offset by his immense size and snow-white fur. Regardless, it seemed prudent to keep the greater area in within his sight line given the recent violence that had occured at the Lekku. He considered it fortunate that Cait hadn't been in any sort of danger, Kholvar unsure if he'd be able to reconcile his guilt if she'd died while he was away.

When his gaze fell onto the corpulent slug Nor'baal and Gillian, though, Kholvar decided he could probably take a break from his self-assigned task of being the Watcher. With everyone of such importance here at the same time, security would be sufficient enough. Or at the very least, should something happen, he was here now and would end it before it really even started. It had been some time since the large Togorian had removed a man's head from his shoulders and he missed it, his mind replaying the glory of killing fools during his time as a slave in the gladiator pits.

Going over to the bar and grabbing a drink - the same drink he always had, which was just a beer stein filled with hard liquor - Kholvar walked over towards Nor'baal just in time to hear him grilling the new slug that had waddled its fat ass into the party. "Cha doth bom bom koucaue dah bu pomheba, Nor'baal. Jeejee bacdop bla mee geh doth cua lhonu hee uba doth bu cua dan Yih." Kholvar was extremely fluent in Huttese, having spent much of his early life surrounded by them and their ilk. Despite this, he did not have a hatred for their species as a whole. Slavery was a business like any other, he supposed.

Pulling out two massive cigars, Kholvar offered one to Nor'baal to make up for cracking his joke before sticking the other in his mouth and giving it a light. Thick plumes of acrid smoke would billow from Kholvar's mouth and nose as he filled his massive lungs, feeling content.

Cardinal entered the Lusty Lekku, he was frisked down by the Exchange guards, but was permitted to keep his blaster since he was an Exchange member. Behind him his men and droid followed him. They followed him everywhere. "Hey fellas, go enjoy yourself, plenty of food and drinks..don't forget about the ladies too, one night only!" Cardinal's men cheered and broke up, walking around and flirting with the dancers. Cardinal's personal bodyguard and assistant, "Brick" followed Cardinal, not being able to participate nor enjoy the fine luxuries provided here. "Hey Brick, I here they got a special tub for droids somewhere around here, why don't you go get your motors unrusted, and that head of yours...fix that, you're creeping me out." Brick nodded, humming some song. The droid really did creep him out. He remembered the day he bought the 5U-Infantry droid. Brand new, Cardinal did some adjustments, and Brick changed...he just sang all the time and liked to kill people. He sighed as he glanced around the room and noticed a couple familiar faces. From the recent attack, the Exchange looked it was building itself back up, a celebration was certainly needed. Cardinal looked at the bar and noticed Norbaal talking to another Hutt. He also noticed Gillian there. Cardinal straightened his suit, and walked up the steps to the bar, sitting next to Gillian. Ah, Mr. Fanth a pleasure to meet you. And Mr. Rel, nice to see you again."

Drask kindly took the drink from the servant girl walking up to serve, not of course without flicking his tongue and putrid eyes in her direction in delight. About to drink, he heard the Hutt Nor'baal begin to speak, setting his glass down so he could pay better attention.

Nor'baal was quick to the point, uninterested in small talk, much like a typical friendly Hutt conversation. The mighty hutt asked what they could expect from him. Drask paused a moment and collected his words,
"Jee gee joday cay bmela bidwata an banba.. tee lhonu nebola hocan, um phata. Meecooda bolla dah an dah um Jee gee kiuke cueiauee bunno vehpobaee mah koona um baw wah jewz ku!"Drask was lying, he couldn't go on and on, he was involved in different things, but none rack up a large enough amount of profit to be worth any mention.

To the corner of his eye a large, furry, beast made its way by the ever-booming Hutt, Nor'baals, side. Sharing a few words, possibly his reports of the surroundings, as the Hutt Guard droid did to Drask. Drask always found meat and flesh a rather peculiar taste for guard, The Hutt felt droids were much more efficient and reliable for such a complicated task. I guess he supposed the meat and flesh ones were good too, to steal the droids and reprogram them, Drask always had a soft spot for nerds.

The hutts eyes slowly phased across the room, his head slightly bobbing to the tune of the music as he took a large rip from his spice pipe. The Hutt coughed slightly, this spice was good.

"Kolvar, u kulle rah doe kankee kung!" Nor'baal boomed across the room as Kolvar greeted him in his less-than-formal fashion. As one of the Exchanges enforcers, he cut a dominating and impressive figure in the room - standing out, a pure brute force of intimidation in the crowd. All-in-all, it was a good thing that he was on their team, rather than someone elses. Nor'baal was somewhat taken aback, although he did not show it, that the Enforcer was fluent in Huttese, however, his Droid was on hand to inform him as to why.

"Voraxes your grace, former Gladiator in the pits."

No doubt it was there he had picked up his fluency in the glorious language of Huttese, Nor'baal decided. Taking the cigar as offered, lit it using a small pilot flame on the side of his Hookah, and nodded his thanks "Chee masa hanka deena chuu Kolvar, he replied, his voice low as he refocused his attention on Drask, as he came to the end of his introduction, nodding to Cardinal as the Hutt went to speak.

Ryll haja du meen, un kalapa zee boorka no. Cheeb, voota nask meen - Kessel, Ventooine?" he asked, never letting his eyes fall from the other Hutt now. "My Lord, is it not likely his mines are...." Nor'baal swatted the Droid off the dias again, silencing it - he really needed to teach the damn thing some manners, after all, the grown ups where talking.

Drask, taking another large puff from his pipe blew a chain of smoke rings into the air. His attention was slightly diverted as a Twilekian dancer strutted over to the Hutt, rubbing her hand slowly down his arm while his tail flicked in delight. "Ho ho ho, Uba Pomiatkpiha tanee vat bai kehaseu mi..." He whispered to the dancer, although his attention soon returned to Nor'baal as he asked about the whereabouts of the spice mines.

After Nor'baal had slapped his own droid away, Drasks protocol droid flinched and hissed a few cuss words in one of his many languages that most don't understand. Drask turned over in confusion to his droid.
--Sorry Sir, one of my bolts came loose.-- Drask shook it off as his attention returned to Nor'baal, answering his question.

"Tagwa, bu amahola doth dah bu planeeto Pattee.." The Hutt paused for a moment, before continuing.. "Wuee, mah apiua doth dah bu planeeto Myauah. Jee neu wa jakola see caieu che yanee heee, an wa dodi planeeto bai wuona mee dah..."

Was he getting to the Hutt? Nor'baal could not quite tell as he listened to Drask respond to his unfair questioning. Kessel was of interest to the Exchange, especially given the Mandalorians recent conquest of the region, which in the Hutts eyes could place strain on the future of their own operations there if they where not careful. Ryloth however, now that was an interesting one. The Exchange had had it's eyes on Ryloth for some time, yet up until recently had lacked the resources to make a commital to its incorporation into their enterprise.

"Myauah ah planeeto see paupe lhonbau kanu du tah yanee. Fa baa banasoi kepta see bmela, Ryll peee la naa fa, du kiuke oto ta hhont bu danko." he began "Whao bu Kankahchonha caiot koose pin bu wanka mee, in ting cheespa chalanh du panbipa tee ame dee Planeeto, an bapie babcenetky fa che ten- du jazaee tokiy?" he asked.

Not willing to allow the young Hutt to get to excited, Nor'baal continued adding "Adgapka bai bu bkonbohba sapan an chakaph bakanu bai doth wamma bimhee bu van, see pacmhanaduee."

Drask couldn't help but smile, well, smile the best a Hutt could. This could possibly be his big chance to lay the foundation for his dream to come into fruition."Tagwa, da ban lhonu. Meecooda sabeoo mah tee-tocky an donahsea don woy gahke tah chagaph ah cuanesa biplata.." The Hutt boomed proudly, making sure those around the room heard. Taking another drag from his pipe, Drask was pleased with himself.

It was only a few seconds until Nor'Baal brought him down a few levels, reminding him of the Pecking Order as his voice boomed, commanding some sort of demand to be not only heard but understood. Drask understood, he understood completely. He has not even begun to prove himself yet, and it was Nor'baal after all who accepted him into the exchange, so it was only fair he get his taste of the action. The hutt chuckled, responding to Nor'baal.

"Sa, fa doth cay mee lhola Jee chespo koose don tah pineha see bmala, kuna kee yoieu mee hhonvola dee patogga, cha donee. ." The Hutt replied hopefully easing Nor'baals doubts. He continued once more. "Peee tee peee bu cuakahe see chaweka Myauah hatkocanh koose ten, Jee neu wa lhonu bie see caieu du bu Bahe Pacahla, tee peee paupe wuona baciyox'a, um wa baheaye youngee yanee bai doth donsoha du." The Hutt chimed in, taking a drink from his Huttese Ale before finishing his piece. "Cay bu bekai kloonkee Konbouaheon an bacaia Becea ree vee baua hoopa, Meecooda neu wa jakola see caieu chaweka doi tah keueka-ou. "

The young Hutts interest was almost palpable, as Drask rapidly responded, and accepted the terms by which he would deliver them Ryloth, and its riches. Nor'baal smiled, for the greed of a Hutt was a powerful motivater indeed it would seem. "Bad, rin Drask. Dobra tee donee vehpobaee bauianonkee mah ' cag dee meela', ata um baw wah banbonzahag see mee amahola- an raskahan bu patka hee lohonka see banbonzahag kacmuepe." he stated, his intent clear by the low and warning nature of his voice.

"Heee h kee see labah an twa adtau cay dokouou, paupe- caiot chaweka bu Kankahchonha kiuke. Lwaa uba banpop doth jahke bai woy chaweka doi twa panwuepka, bargon u noa-a-uyat." Nor'baal added, before dropping his voice to a conspiratorial tone and saying "Um doth bensohbae rin Drask, bu bonsa see heee h kee see labah siuve joggdu whoma. Twa baewa che cahwahh bimay bu lhonu see tee champio. La koee doth slagwa du bu bmeheka, um la doth momeu bai cahwahh. Heee h kee see labah gee hea boha peee wa womp rat shasoke dah bu tozei glitterstim, hocan la gee bu jahkala see wa bacotohoda daiaiey dah nohcala joppay fa nan bai dokoi! he laughed, adding a cautionary note to his words.

"Fa doth cua dan bai woy wa Bacotohoda bo sahuaka, bai tikha fa cueiauee ai bai memhavasa, tee bo boonowa da bu konzapohh, ateema donrom ten tagwa? he added, leaning back and waiting for Drask to reply.
