Composition
Most components are made from Durasteel, however, they are refined and folded to be lighter to allow the LX series much more fluid and quick movements. Though this does mean that the LX series, much like its predecessor the BX series of the Clone Wars, is vulnerable to heavy artillery and repeated precision shots to the head.
Weapons
The LX series commando droid comes equipped with wrist mounted blade launchers on each hand that can fire four knife like projectiles at a target up to thirty meters away. They also come standard with a pair of vibroswords, with light cortosis mix, and a pair of heavy blaster pistols located in hidden leg compartments.
Tools
The LX series also has at their disposal a short ribbon of thermal tape on their person for the use of burning through sealed doors or safes.
-The LX series also is graced with a remote recon probe they can deploy to both scout out an area as well as link them with a third eye during combat.
Description
The LX series is the next step in combat droid evolution for the Techno Union. While unshielded due to the costs of imbuing them with such added technology, the LX Series Durasteel frame makes them a durable foe to enemies. An LX series can take several shots before the damage to their frame becomes a threat to their systems and survival. They have been programmed especially with the knowledge of many forms of swordsmanship and the techniques of famous duelists, both with swords and pistols. They have been designed to be quick, strong, and skilled. In close quarter combat the LX is expected to be unbeatable. Between its droid reflexes, strength, speed, and skill from its programming, the LX is already a formidable opponent. However, during combat it is expected for it to deploy its probe module as a third eye to watch the battlefield from above, giving it forewarning of enemies around it to not be taken unawares. As such it matters little if its opponent numbers one or ten. It is also due to the probe module that the LX can also perform long range assassinations, firing on targets out of its normal sight range by using the probe.
