Cinders is a warrior- He is through and through a combatant that not only seeks, but often times succeeds at making any who would stand against him go through utter hell. He was trained and battle tested as a Border Alliance special forces operator, otherwise known as Defiant Squadron. His specialization is that of air to ground coordination, and night stalking.
Now he lives as a private in the imperial army, and his ability to coordinate surface to air joint attacks is rivaled only by his will to live.
BIOGRAPHY:
Macc Ardinee's story always starts as one of a refugee. Nothing but a timeless face fit for the bill of despair is painted in the minds of those who might ask, "... Just who is that guy, anyways?".
Onderon itself is a lavish, flamboyant, and perhaps even described as happy-go-lucky. The planet has an air about it that never seems to stray from the aristocratic lifestyle found throughout, however, even paradise has darkness within its shadows. Like all places in the galaxy, those that desire to be great eventually break and wither away from the weight of the chaotic struggle. However, sometimes you get those few that are beaten, strengthened, and lastly, forged like a diamond until they emerge smoldering from the depths of hell whence they crawled through... And if you ask some- they will tell you that not a single minute was taken for granted. That it was all worth it- all worth no longer being a nameless face for the bounty of the weak minded populaces' judgmental underestimation of you. Macc Ardine's true story is that of a smoldering cinder.
Fleeing the poverty struck clutches of Taris and the slave trade that the galaxy brings with it to those places riddled with filth, Macc was forced to part ways from his family at a young age. The offering of a young hearty human slave in exchange for the safe passage of his malnourished mother and siblings was more than enough for any cartel to throw a set of power couplings on his wrists. Though tortured until broken for the majority of years to come, Macc had never once given way to thoughts of hopelessness. His demeanor had changed and a lucidly jaded spitfire had become him, but never once could his spirits be broken, not even by his own doing.
Years into his forced servitude Macc had been traded across three separate sectors within five years working on slag mines, and was once again repossessed by his overlords. His next destination to be? Coruscant. However, decision height was growing near before he'd be forced to risk an escape, or live and die as nothing more than a lowly slave worthy of NOTHING. The time was right, the motivation was stout, and the devices were all within his grasp. Never more would he be a decrepit swine corralled into the corners of a prison he'd been forced to build. No. He would burn with the fury of innumerable stars, but focus like the control of a steady needle. From rags to hellion he usurped his shackles with the blood of wretched slavers within the ship of his transport. Coruscant? No, sir. Onderon.
Upon arriving on the planet of Onderon, the young man was changed. Macc immediately sold the ship and all possessions within it for enough credits to begin a life comfortable enough. He lived comfortably with hard work and found his way into the planet's military. Eventually he climbed the ranks enough to become an elite before he moved on to the border alliance under the recommendation of house Kira. A few tours in, and Macc was already barring the scars of battle, courageous medals of war, and the nickname "Cinders".
His success as a border alliance soldier was short lived however, and upon takeover by the imperial forces he quickly followed. His lust for bloodshed and warfare, he found, was all that would drive him forward. Seeing a direct threat to his lifestyle, he had no choice but to enlist in the imperial army and attend officer school.
PERSONALITY:
Cinders is by far a strong soul with a forged vitality. A combatant to the bone, he fights like a savage rancor pinned on its back at all times. He is a hellion with direction and focus. He is "lawful neutral". He has morals, but the line between good and evil is so grey that he chooses not to get involved in the subject, but instead finds his own deeply held reasons to fight for. He has not developed a very good sense of humor or jolly spirits, and therefore can be taken too seriously at times. However, he is always seen as being caring despite his methods.
