As the tall Jedi smashed downwards from a height to Cade, shorter more because of his low stance than him actually being of a diminutive height, he sidestepped with his back foot, catching the crashing blade on the side of his own, deflecting it at an angle. As he sidestepped, he used his momentum to twist himself around so he was inside the arm of the attacking Jedi, eyes widening with shock at the speed and fluidity of the master's choreography. Flicking his wrist upwards and his blade travelled in a light arc upwards, straight through the Jedi's forearm. The hand, with lightsaber and a small length of arm tumbled to the floor, and Cade sent the knight, no doubt going into shock, in immense pain, tumbling to his feet with the lightest of touches.

He completed his pirouette facing the girl, who had inadvertently caused her compatriot to be dispatched from the fight. Cade barely had to move his green blade to cause her to step back towards Katu. Cade was taking no chances this time, feinting right, before skipping onto his other foot and bringing his emerald light up in another arc to relieve her of her sword hand and lightsaber. Clutching her hand in shock, she crumpled to her knees, and Cade turned to Katu, pointing his sword in a more offensive gesture than his regular Soresu.

The Force shrilled a warning, but Amaterasu had very little time to brace herself for the attack. A hand was raised in response to the force power, negating some of the blow, but it still struck. Her mind whirled, and her uncanny concentration distorted. She unwittingly swayed from the attack for a moment, her defenses lowered.

The knight fought to regain control over her mental self, shaking off the worst of the attack in a matter of seconds.

As Ameratsu was removed from the fight temporarily, Cade used the opportunity to end this petty skirmish. He leapt forwards towards the wheezing Katu, the old man's lightsaber disengaged. Cade swung his blade as he landed, catching Katu first on the thigh, then swinging the other way with yet another flawless cho mai mark of contact as Katu's leg buckled from his first wound, bereaving the old man of his weapon hand. Cade disengaged his lightsaber and took a step back.

"Your treachery ends here, Katu. This building is about to collapse and while I'm not going to kill you, I don't have to save you either," the words, even knowing that he would be indirectly responsible for their deaths, pained him. He turned away.

"Come Ameratsu," he said, walking over to the hole in the ceiling, replacing his lightsaber on his belt, "and prepare for an earful when we get out of here."

He leapt up onto the next floor, looking for a nearby window.

Katu fell to the ground, around him his two knights had slipped into unconsciousness, Katu had failed but there was a glimmer of hope that he hoped could help the sitation, turn it into what he had hoped would happen. His life ran though his head as he thought off all the things that had happened to him though out his life and he couldn't help but think he had lived an unfulfilled life...and he still thought this as a steel girder fell to the ground.

Several days later a communication came though the jedi Order's officially channels, though not from a jedi. Dewbecca sat back in his seat his eyes closed as he listened to it. His eyes shot open as he moved to confirm the information was true.....If it was then may the force be with them.

Amaterasu walked to that hole in the ceiling that was used by Cade to escape from the Jedi. She looked back at Katu for only a moment before following the other up. A girder collapsed moments later.

Cade does not need to remind her as of how much trouble she has caused herself by her own actions.

Back at the temple on Ossus, Amaterasu's former pupil raised his head from a datapad he was reading. His skill in the Force might not be as strong as others, but he felt it, nevertheless. Pain and sorrow: something bad has happened, and more of it is to come. He shivered at the thought, his study momentarily forgotten. Hope you're alright, Ama.
