I remember suggesting that we invade the surface when Van Tien was a mere Elder but it never was completed.

We did. After the first battle, I secured the oribtal platforms, making it so that the alsakans could land on the planet and deliver relief aid.

That's what I thought, especialy when I was in an RP going on the surface after the battle with Matt.

But they didn't...so yeah.
Were you even there?

I thought that as well for a while but I was later informed that we didn't own the surface.

There were and have been Republic garrisons on the surface of Coruscant. If you'd landed they'd have fought. No battle was ever fought, and I'd neither myself nor Nexus was informed that you were going to attempt to land your troops planetside. You delivered supplies, not soldiers.

It's just taking a REALLY long time.

Maybe you could trigger a battle between the Jedi and the Ospion with your Jedi. Perhaps you could try to eradicate some of the traitors.

Or send a Missionary to Onderon and have him interact with the Dishoam Church. It's a church consisting entirelly of Force sensetives. It'll be fun to interact. PM if you are interested.

It's not exactly Main Thread, but it's fun?

The Alsakan Union just lost. They just lost everything, they have no purpose as a faction unless Cailst kills the two traitors within the next 40 seconds.

Also Onderon is under no ceasefire and the Corporate Confederation also declared independence. Both of them could fight the Republic as well as the Jedi or Ospion.

No we can't. Basically the mods had a hissyfit and said we couldn't have the things we wrote in and had approved before joining. So the CC can't do squat at the moment apparently. We should be rivaling the alsakans in power but since the mods didn't like the idea of the thread actually moving along and having something else to do apparently it was shat upon.

No offense towards any mods, I just still harbor a little animosity towards all that >->

Or vice versa.
This. I'd prefer if leadership was changed, no offense to Cailst. Or at least amended so that one person isn't making all of the tactical decisions.

But realisticly how they wwent about this change could only possibly cause problems. If this gets drawn out, then everythng is lost. An Alsakan civil war is not needed right now. Though, it is a very good time to do what I had planned.

Question: How many Alsakans do you suspect are 100% loyal to Van Tien, especially after that disastrous attack with the three planets went?

A civil war would only break out in the Alsakan Union if there were enough people who still supported Van Tien.

EDIT:

Great minds think alike. Also note that the blunder was made as the first order from Van Tien's leadership.

Not sure which thread this would be better to do in.
