Establishment: Mal'aa's Kitchens
Location: City of Kala'uun, planet Ryloth, Outer Rim Territories
Description (per Wookieepedia) -

"The restaurant was opposite the main landing area in Kala'uun, across the "Procession"—a long thoroughfare. Built into a large cave complex, it was designed to look like a cantina from the outside. The main dining room was set in a large cave and was filled with long tables and benches. It was lit mostly by fungus lanterns, although some of the natural rel light did filter in through high narrow windows, designed to maximize privacy. Behind this were several other caves, including storage rooms and living quarters for Mal'aa, her immediate family, and the numerous Twi'lek serving maids.

The kitchen itself had four large furnaces and was served every kind of food, condiment and seasoning. Most meals cost around five credits, with second helpings available for a further credit. Meals included Rycrit stew, fermented fungus ale, munch-fungus bread, and raw munch-fungus soaked in a warm broth."

History: Open and operating since around the time of the Battle of Yavin, Mal'aa's Kitchens has been around for over a thousand years. How could a restaurant stay alive for so long? Though Mal'aa has long since passed on, the many employees that followed her have strived to keep the same work ethic she had. The restaurant's cozy, warm atmosphere is perfect for hungry spacers, locals, and anyone else who finds themselves wandering around Kala'uun. You will find a variety of patrons enjoying drinks, gossiping, or gambling. Malaa's Kitchens employs a number of charming Twi'lek females, who work hard to remain free citizens and avoid servitude to the Hutts. You will find many locals chatting in the main dining room, while a great deal of illegal activity happens in the dimly-lit private chambers located in the back. However, Malaa's employees don't ask questions - one of the reaons the place has stayed open for so long. If you find yourself in Kala'uun for business or pleasure, stop by Malaa's - you're sure to have a good time.
