The remaining pair of Sith who deemed themselves Knights of Ren ran for the hills where their ship laid comfortably above the burning inferno behind them. One was a master, the other, an apprentice- there was a third, but Alduin got his hands on the disgraceful inbreed first. The trio came to this world to practice using the Force to manipulate others, but when Alduin found them, he decided to cut the lesson short.

It was the Sith-Hunter who set the village on fire and razed the inhabitants. It was Alduin Ren and his Ring that butchered the second apprentice who so bravely sacrificed himself- a sacrifice he would make in vain.

---

"Damnit..." Swore the master. "How did he get to our ship? Did he sabotage it first?!" The hyperdrive was destroyed- they had no hope of escape. Alduin felt merciful today, and aloud for the distress signal to stay inactive. More blood and carnage for the Ring, he supposed. "Master! Kov's dead... Why did he throw himself like that?" The apprentice was remembering the gruesome image of Kov rushing right into Alduin's greatsword. "No! We are not giving up- I sent a signal out -we'll be fine Sinn, I promise. This was never meant to happen." But the Sith-Hunter did.

---

The Ren sat in the center of the burning village, listening to the screams of the inhabitants, meditating with the scalped head of Kov, who's lifeless gaze gave him something to think about. These miscreants called themselves followers of the Ren- and yet Alduin never recalled knighting them. They should've stuck with calling themselves 'Sith'. Either way, they still had a bounty and the Hybrid was content on collecting it.

Alduin didn't do this for the villagers. He didn't do it in the name of Justice. The Ren did this for the the Ren. If the Ring on his finger needed to be fed, Alduin would feed it, and in return he would grow strong. It was a relationship like no other Alduin would ever have. Suffering and pain was all he could feel these days, and he would do anything to feel again...and again...and again.

"Please, help us-" The burned villager gripped at his throat whilst he hovered above the ground. Alduin took one last look into the cold bloody eyes of Kov and threw the head into the fire. "Allow me to set you free..." With a swift clench of his fist, the farmer's neck snapped and fell limply to the floor. The burning sensation that was all too familiar to the dark mercenary came from the golden Ring he wore on his left ring-finger. It was satisfied, but still wanted more.

Luckily, so did Alduin.
