Jack Kincaid, Gunslinger, Smuggler, Marshal, Agent......Outlaw, he was a wanted man in the Empire had been for some time, and his popularity with the GA wasn't growing by any stretch of the imagination, he's certain some Imperial Propaganda would have him pegged for any recent bombings or attacks made against the GA or Jedi, hell he wouldn't be surprised if the Jedi sent someone after him any time soon, he wasn't certain but he had a strange feeling in the back of his mind, a sense of unease, he slogged back a shot of whiskey and followed it up with a Fizzy Cola.

Jedi Knight Haloburner Lamb found herself sitting at a Restaurant on Coruscant. The dreaded filling on having something huge needing to be accomplished hanged over her shoulder.

Patiently, she waited for her order to arrive. As the waiter finally emerged with her order she glanced her order before looking up to the him "that will be all, thank you." She'll nibble of her food and slowly sip on her drink until her contact shows up.

It was Coruscant so seeing a Jedi wasn't unheard of, seeing a Jedi in a restaurant such as this was though, Jack figured he might be able to swing a few extra credits workin for the Jedi and maybe even get a job, he'd have to figure out a way to swing talkin to the Jedi.

Jack had been informed that he'd be meeting with a Jedi who would put him in touch with the person who originally hired him, hard to tell if this girl was the contact or not, figure he'd go for it, standing up he sauntered over to her table, half finished glass of whiskey in his left hand, unopened bottle of Fizzy Cola in his right, kicking the chair in such a manner that it spun around so the back of it faced the table he promptly sat down and leaned in on it, crossing his arms over the back of the chair.

"Howdy lil lady."

With her eyes discreetly scanning the room, the Jedi nibbled on her food, stopping to take small sips of her drink in between. About a third of the way in consuming her meal, a bad ass looking fellow approached her table, spun a chair facing him then made himself comfortable on the chair.

"Howdy lil lady."

Heard the Jedi. Her eyes remained on her drink, which was now being swirled in her left hand. She figured the man must have seen her enter the restaurant, as she did not have anything to physically show her affiliation with an Order. However, minutes prior to her entry she stopped by her speeder to unpack her utility belt, which housed her saber, weapons and such, inside her bag. All the girl adorned at the moment was her usual green pants, tight cream colored top, a matching green jacket and her bag, which housed her weapons.

“…Hello,” responded the lil lady as finally set her glass of drink down, while studying him. Lamb scanned the man from his head all the way down to his feet.

Turning her gaze back up to the man’s tall frame, the blonde added “…I would say sit down, but you already did that.”

Jack grinned and nodded.
"Well now, was that a joke? it sounded like a joke. at any rate where would a fella go to find a Jedi 'round these here parts?"

Scoffing, the blonde replied- “well seeing as I am not from these here parts, I wouldn’t know….” Lamb picked up her fork to nibble on her plate of food. As she did so, she saw her waiter helping an elderly woman to her seat. Upon helping the elderly woman, Halo beckoned the waiter over to her table. She needed more drink to wash down the raw broccoli she’d just swallowed. “More,” she said to the waiter while pointing to her glass.

While waiter scurried off to fetch her drink, Lamb turned her gaze back on the man sitting by her- “…but I can tell ya, you’re looking at one.” She paused to give the man a chance to respond, laugh or both perhaps- while she pondered what exactly the man wanted.

Jack raised an Eyebrow, he had been correct, the real question was, would she be able to put him in touch with the mysterious man who had seemingly disappeared without a trace, a man who's name Jack didn't even truly know, Jack was reaching, for anything hopefully news of his "exploits" hadn't reached Coruscant yet....Jack offered his hand to her in a friendly gesture.
"Jack Kincaid, pleased to meet ya."

Reaching out her dominant hand, Lamb accepted Kincaid’s hand shake. “Can’t say it’s the same with me, but I’ll say it just for the sake of formalities..” chided the blonde. Pulling her hand down, she added “…and me likewise…”

The waiter finally arrived with Haloburner’s second drink. She looked up to the man, nodded and continued her response to Jack. “…Haloburner Lamb is the name.” Leaving off her rank and Order on purpose.

"Well met Ms. lamb, so what can ya tell me 'bout the current situation? I mean with the Sith an' all, I hear on the grapevine there's war a brewin'." Jack grinned, of course there was war about to start hell he helped start it, and if anything he showed the Sith that they weren't safe even from their own people, he wasn't sure what had happened to the self important Moff Xin nor did he much care, the incompetent idiot was either rotting in jail or had been flushed out an air lock after being frozen in carbonite.
Jack wasn't by nature a mean or violent man but when someone was that big of an idiot, they deserved what they got, Jack smiled as the thought of a carbonite frozen Moff flying slowly into a sun as a star destroyer passed by it made him happy.

Towards the end of Kincaid’s words, he grinned. Lamb could tell the man knew more that he was saying. Perhaps, a coy response from the blonde will do the trick, and making the man spill his thoughts.

Ignoring Jack’s undeniable face painted grin, the Jedi lowered her glass and picked up her fork. She moved her hand as though she was concentrating on the place of food in front of her. After chewing the bite of veggies, she looked up to Kincaid. “As long as we have the likes of the Sith making terror, we’ll continue to have war. That’s all I can say about that,” came Haloburner’s response.

Her words were sharp, but with a sense of concern. Surely the man wanted something more than to pick her brains on a well known fact- war is coming. It wasn't a matter of if, but when.

"Well now, would you happen to know where I can find someone high up in the food chain, someone in the military that might be interested in some information?" Jack was idly playing with a data cube in his hand rotating it around, his coat conveniently covering his Marshall's badge and Heavy revolver.
