I'm sorry, but as far as I know, fire needs a continuous amount of fuel in order to keep it going, and a couple atoms would burn away in less than a second. But, like I said, if you set fire to a fuel source.. then we don't have a problem.

Back in the day we also allowed godmodding, and almost anyone to become the Dark Lord of the Sith, just because they asked. We also had people run around in the RP and piss on each other, but hey, all of that's OK if we did it before, according to your logic.

Yeah, they were pretty gay, and no offence to anyone if their her friend, but almost everything Adena did was kinda retarded. But uh, as for living ships, they're in the EU, so it's not that much of a stretch.




I'm sorry, but the admins have already ruled on this, and it's not just me. But, if you'd like to make a petition to get this amended, start PMing admins, and get a majority or at least us active ones on your side to do a general member poll about it.

Wow. This pointless debate lasted six whole pages. It's worse than me arguing that Bac resigned from being an admin. I think that it makes sense for Mancery to be banned until it is updated, and that it makes sens to post the topic because it means that anyone thinking of using Mancery can't go around killing people with powers that they don't know are banned. For instance, what if someone used this force fire thing to light a building of great importance on fire before the PM was turned into a topic? I know it's not the best example, but I think it gets the point across. And now I've rendered the first two sentences of my post completely pointless.

Sabre, you're just not understanding this I guess. My imagination has been going wild ever since I saw the original Star Wars years ago, before I ever joined this site. Now, I started RPing here, and read books, etc. etc. learning about the Force and what makes sense in it, and what doesn't. The Force is not magic, it can't make things magically appear out of thin air (don't anyone even say "TELEPORT!" because that's not what I mean...), it can't make you all of a sudden double in size, or grow muscles three times as big as they were before. And I can't believe we're having this discussion at all, especially after the debate we had not too long ago, where you yourself Sabre was talking about how way too many people were running around using Force powers like they're candy.

We have to put a limit on the Force for things it can, and cannot do. If we don't do that, then we'll have quite a time trying to moderate anything. Next thing we know we'll have people running around destroying fleets of starships with a meteor-sized fireball or block of ice. "Oh, but we can just have it so you can't create that big of a fireball and stuff!" Yeah... riiiiight. That's like saying no one is allowed to make a big enough Force Blast to blow away a wall, he can only knock things back. Too many Force Powers = Too many problems
