"As long as you leave my ass alone, sure you can try to knock me out later." Moira had spoken next, and he'd been somewhat surprised that she didn't even grimace slightly at his use of her name. "No, never did. Came close but she was the boss' daughter." The man who would be Mandalore pushed into the circle and spoke, the sight of him erased any lingering doubt that it was his old friend.

"I'm sure." he'd say, voice laden with sarcasm at Ral's insistence he too hadn't gone soft. "Bandwagon? Or just joining in on punishing a man for interrupting a party?"

He took the other man's hand and returned the embrace, listening as he only briefly touched on the matter that had sent all of them reeling years ago. It was typical Ral fashion and for their present environment was a suitable answer to his unasked question What the hell happened to you? Pushing away from each other Ral continued to go on, talking about how he and his cousin never ceased to be a pain in his ass, or on time. He laughed, "Well you know what they say, everyone is good at something."

Before he could fire back with his answer and own questions he felt the woman that had been surrounded by darkness standing behind him, he shifted and stepped back so she'd be more included in the conversation and heard Caed's snide comment, he'd not changed too much in spite of appearances. Ral was quick to jump to the woman's defense, verbally censuring Caed for his comment. She was staring at his friend in an impatient and rather expecting manner, it was a strange one and Kex couldn't quite gauge what it could mean. None the less he inclined his head politely and offered a gloved hand to the woman, briefly remembering the etiquette that had been drilled into him by the Jedi Order. "A pleasure." he'd say, "And sometime before you... went missing, it's been a while we can leave it at that."

He'd release the woman's hand as Moira pushed into to introduce herself as Talia Al'Saif. Al'Saif then, not Vizsla... Still not Vizsla after everything. He sighed, probably much louder than he' intended and shot a sidelong glance to Ral and then from Ral back to Evelyn. Suddenly the looks she'd been giving Ral and the curious looks he could have sworn he noticed his cousin give the other woman made much more sense to him. This other woman was dating his friend, which ya know on one hand he couldn't blame him for she was a good looking woman. But on the other hand triggered something in him, the part of him that had spent years hearing "Moira this... Moira that..." And its not like it had stopped after they'd learned she was Bardan's cousin, if anything it got worse.

"You mean to tell me you guys still aren't married?" he'd asked Ral and Talia, some how unaware the latter had walked off and that the only woman next to him was infatuated with Ral. "You've been alive this whole time and you what decided you needed to take the scenic route? Make a few pit stops here and there?" he punctuated the last part with a quick jab of his thumb in the woman's direction. He could feel eyes start to fall on him, and it was then he realized he might, maybe, made just a little, tiny huge mistake.

"M'lady.......A ring! you must hurry along now"

Dawn's eyes widened just as her sister's did. She was tempted to delve into Kalan's mind before making any rash moves, but she decided to follow her sister, leaving Kalan alone out on the balcony. She followed Evelyn in and instead of waiting for Ral, she walked around the group and accepted a random bottle as it was passed to her, taking a swig before passing it on to the next person.

She noticed Talia looking to where she and her sister had come from, and where Kalan was probably walking from following the pair. She would then walk up next to Talia, lightly elboing her to get the woman's attention. "Peace of advice, you may want to get away from here ASAP. I am fairly certain that Kalan just lied to my sister about Ral proposing. If what I think is true, you're going to want to give my sister a wide birth." She half-smiled at Talia and walked back over to the group, half-expecting for this whole thing to fall apart right before her eyes.

This was... not the first time that Kalan had been shunned by someone he was trying to advance upon. He ignored Evelyn's sneering at his remarks, and focused more on the fact that Soon to be Mrs. Ordo was also snubbing him and walking away. Kalan spun on his heels, a little too fast leaving his head spinning, and stumbled after her quickly. She had taken off without a word to him, which hadn't been according to plan, but any good Commando could improvise. Kalan was quick on the mystery woman's heels, but she was headed to.... Talia? Kalan blinked a few times, his inebriated brain trying to understand what exactly was going on. Was Soon To Be Mrs. Ordo into ladies too...? This could be a very good party. Kalan was already planning the next few hours, when her words to Talia shattered his mental plans. Damn! She wasn't into ladies, she was one of those Social Justice Mages... or Social Justice Rogues... something like that.

Kalan moved in before she could move from Talia to the group, covering a hand over his heart in mock pain, "I am wounded you think so low of me! Love is... clearly in the air for someone in the room..." His eyes cut between Talia and Ral quickly, before returning to the woman that he had just followed back inside. If he hadn't been drunk he may have had more pride than this... actually that wasn't true. He probably wouldn't. He offered his hand, "Rather than sit around with boring conversation, may I have this Dance, Madam?"

Zachowon heard this and approached dawn "may i ask what kind of injuries will be sustained if this is to happen?" He asks the female mando wondering what all will have caused something he may have to help out in. He saw the woman from earlier that approached mandal'or and was watching things.

His hand rested in his medical kit as he instinctively went through it in his memory and smiled knowing everything was there and he relaxed himself "also I am zachowon fett, Medic commando for the Dominion" he says smiling softly. "And if nothing goes bad would you mind a dance?"

Pausing for a moment, Ji'Kel thought of one decent piece of advice to give the young human before him. "Well Jaycob, in terms of advancing in rank, simply do your duty and be there when the Dominion calls. No elaborate plots to get glory or satisfy a personal vendetta; trust me, it's not worth it. Something like that cost me an arm and a leg, literally. If you want to fit in, follow the examples of other Mandalorians."

The Chiss finished his 12th drink, subconsciously using the Force to purge his system of alcohol. He found his free hand one of his two lightsabers hanging at his waist. A SuperCommando, and yet many Mandalorians still judged him for his past. Surprisingly, his newcomer didn't seem to mind; if anyhing, it seemed to make himself more of a god in Jaycob's eyes. "Hey Jaycob; I'm hitting a smuggler's outpost on Tatooine soon. They're smuggling young rancors. If you want some action, you're free to come along." Ji'Kel smiled as he put his helmet back on, finishing his message, "There's only one rule; you call me 'Azazel' in the field."
The advice was to do your duty and be there when the Domionion needs you? A little cliche, he thought. But when the news about an upcoming smuggling mission came up, Jaycob was all ears. Tatooine? Rancors? Azazel? It was so much to take in, he had to think for a minute. Jaycob chugged down another beverage and thought about the pros and cons of the situation. He listed them aloud as he went

"Pro: I get paid and get to learn from a SuperCommando on how to fit in. Con: I might die. Pro: There'll be action. That's about all I can think of with my drunk mind right now" he joked, "But, I'm in." However, he still wondered why Ji'Kel wanted to be named Azazel. Anyways, it would be good to get a little action back into his life. After all, that's why he joined in the first place. He would then leave the bar and pack his belongings and top off his ship the next morning.

Evelyn was greeted by a variety of people she couldn't keep track of everything. It all happened so fast. First Caedryn insulted her...again. Then Ral finally came to her rescue and cut his cousin off. She smiled at him and moved a little closet because she couldn't bare to be a moment longer away from him. She was then introduced to so many people she just smiled and tried not to let them see she'd never remember all their names. Politely she would shake their hands and go around the room.

It then got extremely awkward when one of the men asked why Ral and Talia weren't married yet. It felt like the room almost got silent. Evelyn then spoke up, "Ral is with me now, actually." She spoke highly of herself even though she wanted to be more vulgar. "And I believe Ral had something he wanted to ask me did you not? Kalan said you were asking about me. Though I am curious why you sent him of all people. Couldn't you have sent someone who still had a head on their shoulders?" She was referring to the fact at how drunk he was.

There was so much going on that Caedryn was beginning to lose track of it all. Catching Talia's comment about being surprised that he wasn't hiding away in some hallway with a woman, he merely gave her a playful nudge and a wink. "You offering?" Jest filling his voice before sticking his tongue out at her. Expecting a punch to the face, Caedryn quickly ducked away from the woman and behind Bardan, using the man as cover, snatching the bottle of tihaar from his cousin as he fled. Taking a large swig from the bottle, he passed it off to Bardan, an arm wrapped around his shoulder and a jovial drunken grin across his face. "You might change your tune on that note after a few drinks."

Ducking away from him to catch Talia introduce herself to Evelyn like a perfect lady, a twinkle entered Caedryn's eye as he watched the drama unfold. His hand toyed absentmindedly with the pommel of his sword. Like a shark in the water he could smell blood in the air. His attention was pulled away however as Duke Ordo bumped into him on the way to Evelyn's sister, a beautiful blonde who the man seemed to have taken a liking to. With a mischievous grin, he straightened his back and smoothed his tunic before turning to the woman who had gained Kalan's attention so. "Madam, you don't want to dance with this clumsy oaf! He'll end up stepping on your precious toes. Honor me with a dance instead."

It was good to have his old friend back, after all these years, Ral could tell the man hadn't really changed all that much, just like the rest of them. That was good. Ral needed Bardan; he was a reliable vod, and a good friend. He would need his reliability in the weeks ahead. Ral was at least thankful one person there knew how to act like a sensible person, and not like they were raised in a barn. Which was quite ironic since Ral knew Talia was raised in a barn, he'd seen it after all. The distinction between which of his friends acted normal, and which acted like social idiots only became more apparent when even Bardan started to go on about Talia.

Ral's face quickly flushed, and the smile faded within moments, eyes glancing from Talia, to Evelyn, and then back and forth once more, his mouth opening to utter words, but the correct choice didn't seem to come when he needed them to. For all of his social acumen, he found himself rather flabbergasted by the actions and words of his close friends and family. As Evelyn stepped closer to him and interjected that Ral was with her, the Mand'alor turned to face Bardan. "That is perhaps a better discussion for another time, vod. I'm not sure the ladies here would want to hear it all, right now. Though, I'm sure your cousin can fill you in on her side of things, colorful adjectives and all!"

That's when Evelyn mentioned him wanted to ask her something, then something about Kalan. His eyes cocked at that, and Ral found himself confounded again. "Huh? He said what now? I mean..." Looking around, Ral saw Kalan and Caedryn talking to Dawn who was standing suspiciously close to Talia. The light bulb turned on. "That little squirrely hu'tuun!" He muttered under his breath like a low growl before turning back to his date. "I'm sorry, Evelyn, I appear to be completely absent-minded of late. Seeing old friends can do that to me. What did Kalan say, exactly? I don't want to ask you the wrong question and get everyone here confused!" He laughed lightly as he looked at his friends, seeing who was still even paying attention, and hoping the number was zero.

Talia was already quite buzzed by now, and the drinks were hitting her all at once. This meant her reflexes were slow and her inhibitions were down. She was having a good time standing where she was when the woman accompanying Evelyn abruptly nudged her. Talia turned to look as the woman muttered something about Kalan mentioning to Evelyn about a proposal and to watch out. Her eyes went slightly wide, and she looked up at the parties in question as the woman slinked away.

Talia’s eyes went down to her hips, where she still had a multitude of sabers she had taken off Force users she had defeated. She then glanced over at the Prudii helmet, another man she had killed. From that, her gaze went to the tiny woman in the blue dress. Talia shrugged, “I think I’ll take my chances.”

This had been right before her snarky comment to Caed. As he quipped right back, she raised a fist to deck him in the face. Unfortunately, he ducked behind Bardan and Talia was slow on the reflexes, her punch landing once again on her poor cousin’s face right after he finished his awkward blurting, “Shit. Damn it, Bard!” Talia glared at Caed who was looking entirely too gleeful behind her cousin.

She turned her attention back to the situation at hand where Evelyn sidled up close to Ral and mentioned he had a question. Ral appeared to be suddenly nervous, and she knew him well enough to know when he was internally hyperventilating. As Caed began to walk towards the other woman to ask her to dance, Talia didn’t take her eye off Evelyn and Ral as she wrapped an arm around Caed’s shoulder and yanked him backwards towards herself right during his creepy advances, “Why yes, I’m sure we’d all love to hear what Kalan said. This seems important, right?” She glanced over at Caed and nodded with a mock serious expression on her face, still keeping a vice grip around him.

"Yes I know..." he'd begun to reply to Evelyn's remark about her and Ral being an item, apparently missing the whole part where he'd referred to her as a pit stop, But the adults are talking right now. was how that train of thought was meant to be finished, before Caed danced around him and he once more found his cousin's fist meeting his face. He heard the sicking crunch and felt his nose break under the accidental blow, head rocking back impacting into Caed's. His eye's filled with salty tears and his hands shot up to stifle the flow of blood as a veritable torrent erupted, pouring down his armor and even on the polished metal floor.

"Ah sonovabitch!" he cried out, as he rocked back forward. He staggered away from his friend and Moira, lashing out blindly with one hand to get them away, the unfortunate side effect being a palm full of blood lashing out with it. All over the Evelyn woman's dress.

He was late to the party though he had no qualms with doing so given his history. He was sure others would be happy to not see him here at all. He dismounted from the Equinox swoop bike he had rode in on and sighed hearing the merriment. "Watch as I end up in a corner drinking alone." he said as he started making his way to where the others were.

Maybe this event wouldn't be that bad actually. House Skirata was known for just keeping to themselves and Donar was just as reserved as the rest of them. His black and orange armor signifying his house's colors. The rest of his direct family was elsewhere. He wondered if he would see a familiar face or two. In the past five years he had re-acquainted himself with a few others but things were still on edge with most.

Upon entering the area everyone else seemed to be he saw Talia, Ral, his date, Caed, Kalan and several others he somewhat recognized. He immediatly swerved away and headed towards the nearest dispensary of drink. "All the forgotten gods, why must you do this to me?" he swore under his breath before ordering his first of potentially many drinks.

Evelyn pouted when Ral didn't seem to realize what his question was. It still hadn't occurred to her that this was all a ruse. Plus, it was possible she never would. There were times when Evelyn was as sharp as a knife, then other times as oblivious as a child. But her face smiled and she rested her hand on his chest. "Why don't we head outside for a moment? Maybe we can talk in private?" It wasn't like Ral to be so nervous, but maybe having all of his friends around he couldn't work up his courage.

Then everything fell apart again. The man who had insinuated that Ral and Talia were still a couple got his nose busted and fell into Evelyn staining her perfectly blue dress. Her first instinct was that he'd done this on purpose which caused her to shove him away from her. She backed up looking at the blood down her front. What a bad day to wear something that was open in the center; most of the blood had gotten on her, not the dress. She looked up now at the mass of people and tried to push past the anger...she failed.

"Dude! You've ruined my dress! What the kriff?!"

Kalan was pretty sure that he was getting turned down by Apparently not SoonToBeMrs. Ordo. She had been fairly silent since he, and now two others had asked her for a dance. Frustration brewed inside of Kalan as his advances were scorned, and left him observant just in time to hear Evelyn pressuring Ral to take her outside. He growled in anger at the ignorance of the girl, and the rejection of her sister. Kalan turned on the balls of his feet and placed a hand on her shoulder, spinning her slightly so that she could face him. "Honey... dearest... sweetheart..." He began, his words slurring together after all the alcohol he'd consumed, "you're being a bit daft. My... associates and I here.. we've been trying to hint it to you for quite a bit, but dear Ral here is about as interested in a relationship with you as he is... well a relationship with that asshole over there." Kalan sluggishly jerked his head towards Donar in the corner.

Kalan turned his gaze to Ral, "Forgive me Ral, you've been trying to to keep your court... polite, but someone has to put this bitch on blast." His attention returned to Evelyn, "You've been toyed with a hair tonight... in no small part by myself... mainly to try to take a crack at your friend here." He motioned to the woman who had turned him down. "For that... I must apologize. You see, our friend here has been shagging our other friend here," Kalan moved his arm to put it around Talia's shoulders, but miss-guessed where Talia was and ended up slapping Bardan in the face with his metal gauntlet, "since... well I'm not even sure when. I can tell you though... from the looks in their eyes... and the ways they were dancing... they're- ohKRIFF" Kalan paused his speech, clutched his hands over his mouth for just a moment, before moving them and heaving. Vomit came pouring from his mouth, filled with chunks of the food he'd eaten, and the excessive amount he'd drank. It landed on the floor, and partly on the front of Evelyn's dress, "My apologies... what was I saying? Oh yeah.. Fek it.. Ral Vizsla loves one woman... and her name is Moira Kryze. Now would you too kessing kiss already?" His last comment was directed towards Talia and Ral, and he held up a hand, fending off any potential questions, "Now excuse me... I think I'm gonna need some water..." Kalan stepped away a bit, and snagged a glass of water from a nearby waitress, before downing it all.

Dawn took a step back as she was surrounded by men. She almost laughed at their advances, almost. She sent a thankful look to Talia as she pulled Caedryn away from her. Kalan seemed to have gotten bored with her and moved on, thanks to whatever gods were out there. She then turned to the medic, "I appreciate the offer, though I must decline." She then moved over to behind Evelyn as she grabbed a towel from a passing servant and handed it to her sister.

Her mouth would twist into a half-smile as she found out that she was right about Kalan. She would not interfere though, that was Evelyn and Ral's job to kick his ass. Instead, she walked by Caedryn on her way to the bar, clapping him on the shoulder to get his attention. "Thanks for the offer to dance, but if you had a sister and a dog, I'd choose the dog." She smiled and left him to Talia, walking back over to the bar and ordering a drink, just now realizing that she wasn't even half drunk yet.

It seemed that Caedryn wouldn't be dancing after all, with Talia holding a vice grip on him and forcing his attention to the drama that was about to unfold. It seemed for the best however, as the drama promised to be juicy. It was almost like watching an episode of Je'rry Spr'inger, with accusations and confessions abound. It seemed Kalan had fooled Evelyn into thinking Ral was going to propose, a situation that Caedryn found quite comical. Before the drama could unfold however, he felt a hand clap on his shoulder. The woman whom he had asked to dance, more intending to cockblock Kalan than anything else. With an indifferent shrug to her comment, he turned his attention back to the show before them, swigging from a bottle that seemed to have found its way into his hand before passing it off to Talia. There sure seemed to be a lot of bottles of liquor floating around the party at this point.

A multitude of things seemed to happen all at once. Bardan took another blow to the face, blood spewed all over Ral's little lady. Then Kalan blew chunks all over the floor at her feet. "Osik!" Caedryn shouted and tugged at Talia's arm as if she hadn't seen. "What the kriff is even going on anymore?!" The party was turning into a trainwreck fast, and Caedryn was beginning to wonder if Talia hadn't slipped some spice into one of her drinks that made its way to him. It wouldn't be out of character for the former bounty hunter and Mand'alor to be drinking spiced liquor. The girl sure did like to party.

"Talia!" Ral exclaimed as his friend's fist inadvertently collided with Bardan's face, who, immediately began swearing, flicking blood from his broken nose into the air right in the direction of Evelyn. With a growl, "Bardan, watch it!"

It seemed all of his friends were misbehaving tonight of all nights, though he really shouldn't be surprised, after all, this was a Mandalorian celebration. Of course, it didn't help that now Evelyn was shooting back angry remarks at being covered in blood. He couldn't blame her, but the fact that she was yelling at Bardan when he had just had his nose broken was not going to help matters. Sighing, Ral shook his head. "Evelyn, perhaps you should go clean up-"

At least, that's what he managed to get out before Kalan approached, obviously quite hammered from all the drinks he had ingested, and being a bigger asshat than he had been earlier, an accomplishment which confounded and astonished even Ral. Then he puked all over Evelyn and at her feet causing Ral to cringe and suddenly become embarrassed by everything. Just perfect, he thought sarcastically. However, it wasn't just that Kalan was being a jackass, but rather what he was saying that put the Mand'alor on the spot. Truths that Ral had done his best to keep to himself were now being laid out for all to hear. His face flushed, and Ral looked anxiously from Kalan to Evelyn and then Talia. Kalan's words were unjustly spoken, even so, Ral knew he was going to have to deal with him and address these drunken remarks. You need to handle this, his mind raced, Stop running from the truth; no more lies.

Setting his face, Ral gripped the nape of Kalan's neck with his cybernetic hand, squeezing it just enough to cause discomfort even to a man as inebriated as Kalan. "Manners, my good duke, or we'll see what other embarrassing things you can say." His voice was low, but agitated. Then, he looked solemnly to Evelyn. "We haven't been sleeping together. At least not for many years now. As for the rest..." Ral's gaze shifted to Talia. He hated himself for this, for what he was about to do. Guilt was not something that typically bothered the Mandalorian, but tonight he was starting to feel its pain in his chest. "Kalan isn't wrong. Despite whatever feelings I have had, the truth is, my heart is not mine to give and hasn't been for some time. It was stolen when I was very young, and I've been trying to get it back since." Even as he spoke he felt the pang of pain and guilt in the void of his chest, wishing there was the warmth he had felt not too long earlier instead.

Looking to his fellow Mandalorians, his friends, he gave a sad smile. "It would seem that not even your conquering leader can conquer everything. If you will pardon me for a moment, I need some time to myself." And with that Ral backed away, hoping the others would realize his need for space and isolation.

Evelyn was so done. Today had been a total disaster. She'd been bled on. She had puke splattered over her brand new shoes. All she was missing was a martini down her back. And Evelyn wasn't about to let that happen too. Worse yet, her date, who was supposed to be watching out for her, was now leaving. Evelyn was heart broken. So she too would leave. While Ral went one way, she went the other. Tears of anger finally started dripping down her cheeks as she left the throne room as quickly as her heels could take her. She would find the nearest bathroom or place to change and put this disaster behind her.

Ji'Kel was happy that he would have a partner for one of his latest exploits. He nodded to Jaycob as the human left the bar and the party. He finished off his final drink and left as well, but not before noticing a small group of 3 young Commandos following him outside. Ji'Kel was slightly drunk, but not enough to inhibit his fighting ability. He walked down a short alleyway away from the party, with the group trailing him by a few feet.

Finally, one of the called out, "Hey freak! Let's see some of that blue skin of yours! You're such an embarrassment to your family that--" the young man began to levitate in the air, and he was grasping at his throat in an attempt to breath. He was suddenly slammed against the wall, dropping from the air like a stone, knocked out cold. Ji'Kel's face was twisted in rage beneath his helmet; his left hand curled in the position one would take to choke someone.

The man's cohorts rushed him, vibroblades in hand. The Chiss spun around, using the Force to choke them both. When Ji'Kel let them drop, they fell unconscious and his anger subsided. He turned around and continued home, hoping that nobody else witnessed his outburst. "Oya Mandalore," he whispered to himself.

Yup...that's Kalan Ordo alright he thought as he cocked an eyebrow after watching the man regurgitate some previous consumption. Something probably was eating at him inside or some deep seated mental issue for him to act with such tendencies but those weren't his fault, probably. The doctor sighed looking down at his beverage staying at the bar enjoying the spectacle that continued. It was like watching one of the dramas on the holo-net only this one was in better quality three dimensional projection.

Donar did not know why people were harming one another or getting dirty at such an event. He was somewhat surprised but it was also a mandalorian gathering and even if it were the more prestigious individuals of the Dominion he shouldn't expect anything less of a few broken bones and sullied garments. ain't no party like a mando party and like that his first beverage was already gone. He proceeded to order a double on his next drink, giving the bartender a decent tip for his precision or lack there of in regards to dispensing of libations on his behalf.
