Accalia stayed her place as Cana placed his focus on her. She could see him tense a bit, his paws tightening none the less, and even to an extent she could pick up that minute scent of his blood upon paw that started to drift from the Shistavanen. She was concerned a bit, the big male reminded her of how she felt when she’d first woken from unconsciousness with Barrus and the other Orar standing around her after the raid on her Master’s vessel.
Her greeting to him went better than she had expected, that uneasy growl and a whine of uncertainty made her more relaxed though. His actions and the way his body language spoke things to her that only a Shistavanen could understand certainly instilled in her a sense that he wasn’t going to be a problem. Still, Accalia had to maintain her calm, and to an extent that stance that seemed to indicate she had a control on the situation. If not for Cana’s sake, for the humans that were watching them, more importantly, watching her for signs that they should be reacting.
Those big blue eyes remained focused on Cana’s golden hues, she’d started to answer his question, then things changed just a bit as Verus calmly approached and took a stand next to her. Her formerly focused gaze on Cana broke as she took in and regarded the Fett standing next to her. Her ear nearest him flicked just slightly as she listened to his words and took in his bow.
Looking back to Cana to gauge his reaction she watched him bristle, a slight rise in him as his demeanor changed from a more passive one to a more dominant one. Oh Verus, a bold Fett as any, words which drew Cana in an attempt to respond to Verus. Accalia was quiet, her tail gave an inquisitive tilt back and forth as her male counterpart attempted to respond, though took a more tensed hold as he let out that menacing growl that elicited a response out of a few of the nearer men. Her hand raised towards them, open palm in a ‘stop’, or so she hoped both her gesture and that piercing blue glare in their direction would stave off their responses any further.
A tilt of her head had her focused back on Cana again though as he spat out that Shistavani. She understood most of what he said, had they both had time she could’ve likely understood every word, and Cana no doubt likely wouldn’t have mangled his Basic quite so badly.
Giving Cana a nod at his question she regarded the Fett Alor once more and translated best she could for her human bystander.
“His name is Cana Arkiss. Says he’s neither a ally nor a enemy, he’s only recently arrived and means no harm to us. He is without a pack, Solus...” Accalia spoke using that last word in a third language, one she didn’t have a great grasp on herself yet, starting to look back to Cana before she paused and took a glimpse back to Verus and added.
“He understands some of what you speak, his Basic is not that good, suggest keeping conversation simple.” Of course she didn’t add in that her Shistavani wasn’t that great either. Finally returning her attention back to the big towering male she spoke to him herself now, reverting back to their native language of Shistavani.
“I am Accalia. Those two..” she took a glimpse over her armored shoulder slightly towards Kenshin and Evagria, “.. Are part of my Pack.” She pointed out with a look back to Cana, though letting her look linger on Verus for just a moment as she continued to speak in that canine language of clicks and growls. Whatever she was saying to him certainly took on a more beastly tone.
“Be at ease, you’ll find no harm from any of these people so long as you act calmly. Are you hurt?” the female asked, inhaling a breath and giving a slight point of her nose towards his paw. “They can help you.” She suggested with a nod of her head back towards her ‘pack’. Especially with Evagria being a medic, though as massive as Cana was, she wondered if her non-Mandalorian Clan mate would even come near him.
