Over the past couple of days, I've received a number of PM's about the possible merger or semi-unifaction/cooperation of the Mandalorian Clans and I wanted to address that in an official capacity so the decision isn't contested or disputed or whatever. What I have to say is:

I'm fine with whatever Mando factions/clans/cults/whatever want to merge or cooperate for the sake of story. Pooling current resources, so long as people aren't mining beskar (actually beskar use at all without a very, very, VERY EXCEPTIONALLY SUPER AWESOME AND FANTASTIC, reason won't be tolerated) or using the mergers to gain assets beyond what the sum total of the current clans possess, is fine. Any true military or territory expansion has to be approved of course, but I want to make it clear that that is also something I'm definitely OK with having happen; as long as reasons and numbers are justified and come in reasonable increments.

That brings me to the note section of this post and it's something I have given a lot of thought into how to approach. I have come to the conclusion that a direct approach is best.

Over the years, we've always had something of an issue with the Mandalorians presenting certain issues that echo into OOC. This stems largely from the warrior culture of the Mandalorians. Yes, they're exceptional and exceedingly effective soldiers; but they are not gods. The multiple layers of tech that they use give them an edge, but no more of an edge than any other character.

I guess what I'm trying to do is remind people not to be silly when writing, particularly in PvP. If ever in doubt about what is possible or impossible (and this goes for everyone) ask a question. That's just something I thought was worth mention in a reminder.

Have fun!
