___Hello, everyone, and welcome to the March 2024 Newsletter for The Harry Potter RP!
___Have I ever mentioned how much I love writing these? Once upon a time on another website, I wrote things such as announcements, events, and other important newsletters just like these for the members.
___As always, I hope everybody enjoys this month's newsletter! It's been another relatively quiet month without too much to cover, but all the same, here's the down-low for this past month's happenings!

___There has been no advancement of time.
___The site currently remains in 162 ABH, or 127 years after the Battle of Hogwarts.
- However, please remember that time, in general, is fluid here on the site.

___The Maw, a black hole that has existed in the galaxy for generations and something avoided at all costs, has been irreversibly altered. Following the constant gravitational fluctuations and sudden alternation between the light and dark sides of the Force, a research team departed to investigate this once-in-a-lifetime occurrence.
___A ship named the Wildcard proceeded towards the Maw with two scientific minds, Professor Hanami and Doctor Lile, and a group of people from all walks of life to begin research. While in transit, the ship was abruptly and violently ripped from hyperspace, causing almost irreparable damage. However, after being torn from hyperspace, everyone saw something nobody believed was possible: a halo that looked suspiciously like a space station.
___With the Wildcard dead in the water, Professor Hanami and Doctor Lile each took a team to board the space station and begin a mission of reconnaissance, exploration, research, and salvaging. The teams encountered various obstacles while they scoured the immediate entry point to the station, but who knows what other secrets lay in wait...

Faction Happenings - Jewel Of The Desert
- Various members of the Slytherin House get together to celebrate the opening of a new magic school on Korriban. This quickly turned into a bloodbath when @Ayomi Jakarta and @Caerllion of Cyfnos engaged in a spat, which then spiraled into an altercation that saw Slytherin professor @Trael Osso killing Slytherin wizard @Trodai Narat-iv-Adas. As punishment, professor Arcanos condemned Trael's family to death.
