The Dantooine Enclave had made much progress since Khaluq had first set foot in the academy. The echoes of the Force was still strong in these halls. Many had trained here in the past and even now more were flocking to the side of the Jedi.

Focusing on her breathing, she sent her thoughts inward. As the Force flowed into her and out of her body, she began to follow it's natural flow. Just as the old man had taught her, she began to focus more strongly upon the essence of each person within the halls. Moving through each one, she let the Force lazily guide her to her new padawan, Marl Ardross.

Come to training room 2. It is time your training advanced, Marl.

GM NOTE: It's Marl Ardross, not Andross. No relation to Reron here. Fixed.

Marl heard the strange voice inside his head. He had no idea what it came from but followed the voice's instructions. He headed down a corridor, and found a door with a number 2 on it. Well, this helps. He thought and walked through the door.

In the room, he found a woman that very possibly was his new master. Marl stepped more into the room and looked around in the room. It was fairly plain in the room except for a few lightsaber scars on the ground. He walked forward a little bit more and said, "Hello. It appears that you seem to be my new master."

OOC: Everyone's a critic...lol. Give me a break. I'm doing this on top of work right now. :P Picky grandmasters...

Khaluq did not readily respond to the padawan as she continued her meditations. Waiting to see how he would respond to her silence, she continued her deep meditations, feeling the fluctuations of the Force. If he did not take a seat on his own and begin his meditations without prompting, she would lead him in doing so.

Marl was confused. He greeted his new master, but she didn't greet him back. He saw that she was meditating. Maybe that's why....he thought. He walked forward a little bit more and said again, "Master?" He decided that he should try to meditate as well. Marl walked a little bit nearer to his master and sat down.

He kept looking over to his master, trying to copy what she did for meditating. Still, he felt confused as to what meditating would do and why he should meditate.

As he tried to mimic Khaluq, she let her thoughts wander to him and began to speak to him through the Force, guiding him.

"Close your eyes and begin to breathe deeply. Take a deep breath in and exhale it slowly. Clear your mind of all thoughts, concerns, worries...let go and simply be," she instructed him, mouth silent yet her words heard clearly in his mind.

Marl heard the strange voice again. It was instructing him how to meditate. He listened to the instructions carefully and as they were said to him, he did what they said.

"With each breath in, concentrate on the air filling your lungs, the exchange of gases," she paused giving her padawan time to explore this level of meditation. "With each exhalation concentrate on the release of gases from your body back into this room. Within your own body, the Force flows, just as it flows from all life. Go deeper still with the next inhalation and feel the Force flowing in your body, just as blood flows through your veins. Follow it's flow within and then outside your body and into the room," she urged him, following his progress in the Force, ready to help direct him should Marl find the exercise a little difficult.

As Marl listened to Master Khaluq, he felt good. He did everything she said as precisely as he could, trying to do it perfectly. Marl breathed in and felt more concentration than he ever had. As he was meditating, he felt more knowledge go into his body, just like his entire life before this day.

Khaluq was impressed with this young woman's connection with the Force. It was obvious she was very gifted. Most of the padawans who came to her to begin their one on one training weren't as disciplined as Shannai.

Khaluq let him continue to commune with the Force for several minutes before he lightly touched the young man's mind, delicately bringing him back to the room on Dantooine.

Khaluq waited until Marl's eyes opened before continuing.

"Just as the Force flows through all life, all over the galaxy, we Jedi listen to its fluctuations and let it guide us. It is important to find the peace within and seek that communion often. You see, for every action we take, the Force is affected in some way be it through deliberate manipulation of the Force or through simple deeds. Yet, our responsibilities go even further than the average citizen. The slightest deed could cause a snowball effect, resulting in disasterous consequences; yet, the same can also occur from our inaction. We must seek the right path continually and think of every possible outcome instead of rushing in acting on impulse. It is through this philosophy that the Order established the Jedi Code. Have you heard the Code? perhaps heard some of the other Jedi speak of it?"
